I went through the car wash with my friend and her car that she had painted four years ago was still shiny. But then she got the car wash and the wax which was $25.00. Afterwards her car came out splotchy and her paint job was ruined. The guy working there said those splotches were there before and the gaslighting from this worker was terrible. They said they would call her back but they never did. I have pictures. They told her since she didn't have a top coat they aren't responsible and they have signs saying they aren't responsible. She has gone in before and didn't have this happen but this time she paid for the expensive car wash. She is a very nice elderly lady and this whole situation has really bummed her out. So if you want your paint job ruined then by all means , take your car here! read more

I had a great wash two months ago, this time around on 7/10/26 at 4:30pm my back tire ran over a cone. I did not see the cone, when all of a sudden one of older porters yelled at me saying hey!!!! A younger porter came to my window, I explained that I was sorry and didn't see the cone, he nodded. I was told to pull my car forward, I rolled down my window to tell the older Porter I accidentally ran over the cone and didn't see it. He said with a smile, oh it's okay, then his smile faded away and changed to a grin, he said, " Don't do it again". I replied, it was an accident, didn't see the cone. I will not return to this car wash. Please owners, it is important to speak to your porters about having great customer service and guest relations skills when working with the public. I've gone there recently and every time I go the place is clean well kept staff is very friendly and helpful if there's ever an issue with anything which I haven't had Everyone is really friendly and helpful. The car wash itself is very effective in getting my car cleaned. I've never had any damage done. I have a sedan you know body type of car. I feel like it's a great value for the cost whether individual or their monthly plans she get a lot of bank for the buck their vacuums do a great job and even when they're busy, they're still a spot you know open to dry and clean your inside of your car out It's conveniently located easy to get you off of the freeway. I once had a question about my account and so I called customer service, which is a gentleman by the name of Andrew and the guy is just the nicest most professional genuinely helpful and you know caring individual and several conversations with him you know inquiring and wanting to learn about some account management stuff And possible you know options to possibly pursue putting my account on pause stuff like that and I just had the best conversations with Andrew so much that I just a little while ago sent an email in directly to the upper leadership of Waterdrops But also had to recognize the Camarillo location and it's employees for the reference and effectiveness. Way too much for a wash that doesn't even clean your vehicle. I asked the attendant before I went through if I could go through again if my truck didn't get clean. It had been a while since my last wash and i work a job that requires driving on dirt roads and such. He said no problem. Went through the wash. Still dirty. Drove back to the start but this time there's some uppity lady who has already taken the other guy's place. She tells me no second wash and any dirt or marks on my truck are not going to get clean with a second wash. Paid a ridiculous $16 for one of the worst washes ever and this person can't even let me go through again second time. I've never had that issue at any other car wash I'd ever been too. I had high hopes for this car wash. I brought in my new car on a Saturday, signed up for the monthly subscription, and found the wash to be quick, convenient, and affordable. The first visit went smoothly. Unfortunately, on my second visit the following week, I left with a noticeable vertical scratch on the left side of my trunk. I reported it, but the staff reviewed their cameras and said they couldn't determine if their equipment caused it. That response left me uneasy. I check my car regularly, and the scratch was not there before the wash. I can't think of any other way it could have happened. I'd feel more confident returning if they had acknowledged the possibility and taken steps to make it right, even as a one-time fluke. For now, I won't be coming back. I am a current member, and let me tell you... it sucks when you get stuck behind someone who isn't a member and can't just go through the kiosk with a scan. Yesterday I got stuck behind someone for more than 10 minutes because they only had one person working and they were putting the cars into the actual car wash. So my line was halted until someone could come check out the person at the kiosk ahead of me. The guy in the car ahead of me even tried to get out to go get someone and he couldn't as his door was blocked. This has happened before, but today was the final straw. I have had a monthly subscription for 3 years now. If you are loking for a perfect car wash, don't bother it doesn't exist. This one is very good though. The staff is very helpful and nice. I once locked my keys in the car and a nice young man spent 15 minutes getting the door open for me. In 3 years of once or twice a week washes I have never had any damage to my car. read more

Stopped at the Camarillo Waterdrops on 10/11 while in our way to visit family in Oxnard. Owners previous response was they "kick customers who take too long out" so this couldn't have been my experience. It was. Visiting family in Oxnard and decided to stop by for a quick wash. Guy working the machine was friendly, but the girl working the prewash area was unfriendly as could be. She literally just sprayed the drivers side door and no other part. Every vacuum station was filled so could not stop there, and then realized the entire back and rear passengers side of the car was still covered in soap. Had to pull over in a near by parking lot, to wipe it all off. The line was too long to even get back in the facility to speak with a manager, let alone find parking. Where do I begin first? I was offered a 50% off for 1 month promo that was not honored. Okay, I'll pay the 19.99 no biggie. About 2 weeks ago, I drove through around 6:30 at night and didn't need to vacuume, so I drove home. The next day, I saw scratches on the back of my car. I called corporate, and they said to stop by so they can take photos. So I go and speak with the manager. The first thing he says is that it's not from us. Our brushes never go up and down. I'm sorry, but the blue things liittlerlay slap the car. Always very skeptical about get the 'High End' wash option because of poor overall clean but tried it as a reference. Got off majority of the dirt and dust on the common surfaces but left debris residue towards the bottom and end. Typically what I expected, paid $20 for a basic clean. Had to still clean off the bird dropping, bugs, and the soap scum left behind. Vacuum area was extremely packed and there is no area to wait for availability unless you stop and block outgoing traffic so sometimes you're just out of luck. read more

My wife just went here earlier today. She was behind a vehicle that had a lot of mud on it. She went through and it came out with mud streaks all over the side. She went back around and asked if she could go through again. The employee didn't speak very good English and told her that she payed for a single wash and that she couldn't go back through. Considering the car was more dirty after going through the wash you'd think they would let her go back through. I wanted to read reviews before posting mine and man. People are angry and disappointed. And to some degree it makes sense. Cars are expensive! No one wants to see a scratch or ding on their car. But look. It's a drive thru car wash. You're running your car through giant rollers and machines that are just programmed to do whatever they're programmed to do. It's nothing compared to going somewhere that hand washes your car. I also noticed that a lot of people are really upset for how the business responds to their complaints. But It's not the managers fault if policies are written to ensure the company isn't liable for damage done to your car. That's more on corporate for not giving two shits and writing those policies. All of this to say. If you want a quick wash for a reasonable price (and by reasonable I'm saying $18 cause life is expensive now) I think this place is a fair place to go! I go here when my car is in dire need of a wash and I like that there's a vacuum section afterwards. Do I expect a spotless wash? Not really. And I know that going through a drive thru wash there's always the risk of damage to the car. If you're not expecting too much I think this place is definitely worth it. read more

For $8 I got a quick wash and was able to vacuum myself for as long as I needed to. Lots of ppl had car wash kits (not me) and this was a popular spot. It was quick easy and affordable and I feel that once I wipe the inside it'll be comparable to a $27 car wash I usually get in Westlake. I will return read more

Update - 9-8-2021 I think I will finally cancel my two memberships here. It's a darn shame because it's so close to my house. Something is always not working here. Today it was two rollers, and a brush. The lower spinning brushes hit the car so hard, it folds my mirrors out the opposite direction. We get less wash but have to pay the same price. The owner is really nice and he must have his hands full but at the same time, I feel completely ripped off. On top of the that, what is up with the staff? Why are they always so terrible. I asked them to focus on the back, it's hard to get clean in your car wash, etc. I'm in a hurry so I don't stop to vacuum or do windows (that part of their facility is terrific, BTW). I get home and park and walk around the back. Filthy. Filthy with soap-dripping trails. I drive all the way back. They remember me. The attendant walks over and tells the hose girl and brush guy to work on the back specifically because this is my second time through. I get home. Mostly clean, but the "fin" that comes out over my rear window is filthy underneath, as well as the glass under it's "shadow." No brush marks. No soap marks. $18. Listen: you have a problem with your equipment or it's design. You know this. You acknowledge it by having hose girl and brush guy. DO A BETTER JOB. So today's experience... took my company vehicle for a wash... paid for the triple drop... might as well right? As my luck would have it, it ended up raining the following day but nonetheless, I enjoyed my clean car before the waterdrops started falling from the sky! The one challenging thing about this place is not being able to see how many cars are in line because it's not visible from the roadway. You turn the corner around the back of the building and all of a sudden there are a bunch of cars in front of you and you have no way to get out, no escape lane. Average At Best: i come here occassionally because I'm too lazy to wash my own car and its about $20. I worked at a car wash like this in LA years ago, so i know about them. My car isn't high value or I wouldnt come here. Overall, the facility is dirty and not well maintained. Probably lack of concern or pride by owner and management, which filters down to the employees. For example, all the grit & dirt from inside the car wash has drained out onto the driveway. They need to power wash the driveway. Yiu can see the grease and grit on the driveway entrance. Need to power wash it clean. Even the plants & bushes on their property aren't kept up. That would make it more appealing at very low cost. Easy fixes, but takes a good leader to initiate. Some vacuum hoses are missing. Some vacuum hoses fall apart in your hand because they're patched with another hose, so they disconnect as you vacuum. Happened today and in previous visits. The outside of vacuum and air hoses are dirty and should be cleaned off. Beware becuz that dirt will transfer to your clothes or vehicle too. Some air hoses are too short. Often times, employees & managers seem like they want no contact with customers. "Stay away from me" vibe. Its just an average car wash at best. Camarillo could use a competitor in this area. read more

This is the worst car wash! I washed my car at the Camarillo location Sunday. When I came out of the wash and was drying my car off, I noticed my entire hood and roof of my car was scratched with swirling marks and the clearcoat was completely gone. When I brought it to the managers attention, he accused me of lying, saying it was damaged before I came and that he can assure me it wasn't done by them. He then proceeded to tell me that maybe there was a recall on my paint or the clearcoat. If that was the case, why were the sides of my car completely fine. When I contacted customer service, they said they were look into it. Rather than calling me back they sent me a generic text saying that they are not responsible for the damage done to my car. Seems to be a habit with this company and I will never take my vehicle here again! What a terrible company and terrible customer service. Beware!! This is not the first car they have damaged and will not be the last!! In response: How can you confidently say the damage was there prior without examining my car prior to the car wash? You guys are shady as F and conduct business terribly. All you have to do is scroll down the Terrible reviews with similar issues. Maybe it's time for you to admit wrongdoing and address the issues at hand. Clearly there's issues with your car wash that's damaging people's cars that they work hard for.
