I had a reservation with this rental company, but on the day of my rental, the weather turned bad, making it unsafe to be on the water. I called in advance and politely asked if my morning reservation could be moved to the late afternoon. The manager told me they were fully booked and couldn't accommodate the change. While on the phone, I checked their website and saw that all time slots were available. When I pointed this out, she still refused to help and insisted that I either use the jet ski or lose my money, regardless of the weather conditions. Since they couldn't assist me, I decided to go to the location to avoid losing my money. I completed all necessary safety paperwork, but my credit card was declined multiple times for the $2500 damage deposit. The manager said she couldn't rent the jet ski without this deposit and offered me a gift card for a future rental or the option to cancel without a refund. I eventually managed to get my card to work and paid the security deposit, which took about 30 minutes. By the time I went to see my jet ski, the weather had worsened with rain, wind, and distant lightning. I decided it was unsafe to go on the water and returned to the manager to request the gift card she had offered earlier. She then claimed she couldn't issue it due to their 7-day cancellation policy, despite having offered it just 10 minutes earlier when my card wasn't working for the deposit. She reiterated that they had no weather exceptions and that I had to use the jet ski or lose my money. I expressed my safety concerns and refused to go on the water. I noticed that all the jet skis were still available at that time. The staff, especially the managers, were very rude. Ultimately, I didn't use the rental, and my money was wasted due to their poor management and customer service.

Stopped by Woodmark Waterfront Adventures in Kirkland on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised. Even though I didn't rent anything, the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. They answered every question I had without any pushy sales tactics. It's clear they take pride in their gear; I watched them meticulously clean and inspect paddles, boards, and life vests as I walked in. Definitely made me feel confident that anything I did rent would be well-maintained and safe. They took the time to explain local waterfront conditions and gave some solid tips for a smooth outing on Lake Washington. For being just a curious passerby, I felt respected and appreciated. I'll definitely be back when I'm ready to book with good vibes all around.

A friend invited us to go with them on the 7~9 passenger boat. Ended up being around $500 total incl tax and fuel for two hours on the weekend. Checkin was a bit slow since they only had a window open, and you have to fill out forms for each person in your party. The staff were polite and helpful and walked the drivers through how to navigate, which was pretty simple. We were able to park in the P-2000 garage, close to the doors that lead straight out to their booth. It was free passage? Not sure if that's normal, from the website it seemed like it shouldn't be free on weekends, but I'm not complaining. Otherwise, retail will give you 2 hr validation. The boat itself seemed well kept and clean. Great view on the water and even though it's September, the water wasn't too cold since there was still a little bit of sun. Great experience, will probably do this more often in the future. Much easier than owning your own boat :)

I went with a group of 10 people. We rented double kayaks and single kayaks in 2 different timeslots Around $20-25/person Some highlights: - beautiful view! - you can book ahead online, although it was difficult to get everyone at the same timeslot if you're going with a big group - there's a locker to store your item, but there was no lock - ultra kind employees - be sure to be there 15 mins early to fill out the waiver forms - what was helpful to bring yourself is a Ziplock to put your phone in - 1 hour time limit - it was a little wavy that day because of the wind.. can get difficult if you are kayaking alone - be careful of other big boats.. there were times when we almost crash into a boat Parking -- You can park at the garage and get 2 hour validation from them

We arrived 5 minutes before our Scheduled time and they wouldn't let us go out for part of the hour or give us a refund. Wanted us to be there 15 minutes early. Ruined our day Younger blond hair kid must've been manager told my gf she should 'effing' be on time if she wants to ride jet skis next time

Great experience renting out 7-9 passenger boat at their location Carilion Point. Griff explained all the intricacies to us first time boaters and did a wonderful job...thanks! Amazing views of Lake Washington with Kirkland/ Bellevue waterfront. Luckily it was a clear morning so Mt Rainier was majestic as usual. Bit expensive but with a full boat the cost can be shared so it's an outing not to miss!

Hi Jon...great question! You can have your dog on the 7-9 and 10-12 passenger boats (not the wake boat). The dog's nails need to be clipped short/groomed well and you would be responsible for any seat punctures should they occur. The seats are…

We had to cancel with two other couples coming out on the boat and then when we got to the dock this morning, we saw them putting the boat back in the water and we said well if it's functioning, can we take the boat out and they said yes. Well the Boat went no more than 6 knots which is below the speed limit in Lake union and we had to go all the way across from Kirkland to Andrews Bay it took an hour. We almost had to call twice for a tow. They still charged us. They gave us a discount, but they still charged us a good chunk of money for that boat, even though it wasn't functioning properly and they claimed we were out for eight hours what were we supposed to do? Just not go out in the boat and not go watch the blue angels? The boat barely ran - literally if we tried to go over 3000 RPMs the boat would just spin out in the engine wouldn't work anymore. When we got there in the morning at 10:30 AM, the entire bathroom was out of toilet paper when we came back at 6:30 PM, was out of toilet paper again. L A very sad excuse for a Marina! Do not ever go near this place to rent a boat that's all I can say. They'll give you a boat that doesn't run and charge you anyway. Stay away!

We ended up really enjoying the tour and would highly recommend to visitors. This would especially be a great thing to add to your itinerary if you're only in the city for a short time, as you get to see a lot of landmarks in a short time. You also get to hear about the city's history and key industries. The ride overall is pretty smooth, and my husband, who gets motion sickness, was totally fine. The boat when docked can experience a little more motion, however, so your mileage may vary. We also found it easy to get seats with good views, and the guides were easy to hear anywhere on the boat. Also both ends were open to guests as well. From start to end, the staff member did an amazing job of narrating many aspects of the views from the deck. A lot of it was about the downtown Seattle buildings, Space Needle, buildings and parks by the shore, the sea ports and many other cool facts along the way. I throughly enjoyed the hour long tour. The weather was also fantastic to take stunning pictures of the downtown, the mountains and the port. They also had a bar in second level where they served alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, pop corn and some small snacks. Prices were decent for it being a tourist activity. We liked both popcorn and the strawberry lemonade.

Argosy Lake Washington Blue Angels Seafair Cruise Friday July 2026…read more A great experience and fun event. A quick debrief on the logistics. We went on Friday for the airshow thinking it would be less crowded. There is parking underground and a short walk to the pier. You can grab some shade under a few umbrellas by the water. There are public restrooms very close. You queue up about a half an hour before boarding starts. We headed straight to the top deck of the Argosy Explorer in order to get the best viewing. The ship holds 500 but the captain said there were 180 on board that day. We found chairs on the port rail. We were idling at least 2 miles from show center but got a lot of low flyovers. No one really gets a good seat for the Seafair airshow. They're just too far out over the water. The crew was friendly and ship had lots of non-alcoholic drinks available too like cold brew coffee. Bathrooms are good size and there are several. The ship was absolutely immaculate. Getting off takes some time and it's warm inside. There's a nice breeze when the ship is underway but it's hot on top otherwise. A bit of an older crowd and everyone was real social and polite. Wear your SPF clothing, hat, and bring sunscreen. It's a bit rocky on top but got used to it after a bit.

The Lake Washington Argosy Cruise trip was my third trip with the cruise line. I was excited to…read moreexplore this area more and I felt like I had a very satisfying trip! There was a little bit of frustration but much of it did not have to do with Argosy. They have three departure times to tour around the lake. I planned to go to the earliest one but realized that I wouldn't make it so I hoped to make the second departure time. I didn't make it due to heavy construction as a result of weekend construction on I-5. That was really the most infuriating about making these times but again that has nothing to do with Argosy. I encountered a little bit more frustration once I got to Kirkland because the ticket office to buy tickets was closed. In between departure times the ticketing office closes and reopens a half an hour before the next departure time. That is a huge difference compared to the Argosy Cruise location in downtown Seattle where it is open during the day time hours. But I understand why and the reason is that there are a lot more cruise tours that leave from that location while the Kirkland location just has the one tour offered. The tour itself was very enjoyable! The tour guide that narrated during the tour was very good and knowledgeable about the area and the lake! We toured closest to the Bellevue side and looked at many of the lavish homes that were along the lake shore. Very beautiful homes! This area is probably the most primo of homes in the metro area as you can get! We also went by Bill and Melinda Gates' home which was a real highlight even though much of the house was obscured by trees. Lake Washington has a couple floating bridges and we went under the 520 floating bridge which was very cool to see! The views of Seattle, Bellevue and Mount Rainier were in top form as there was minimal haze the day I went. Tickets for this cruise are around the $36 range and the tour itself lasts about an hour and a half. There is a cocktail bar on the ship as well as snacks. It was a fun, relaxing trip after the frustration from the beginning of the outing and is enjoyable for summer tourists as well as locals... in fact the cruise I was on it seemed like that there were more locals than there were people from out of town! The tour guide popped this question early on. This location also does a Christmas cruise and that trip would be pretty since the areas around the lake really go all out on decorations apparently!
