Didn't know that it was standard practice to charge for fuel after the ride, but they could have at least mentioned it? We arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled ride to fill out the paperwork and such, but they were so inefficient that it took more than 30 minutes. They were very inflexible and didn't adjust the time to give the hour that we paid for. It's either that or a refund prorated for services not rendered. Jet skiing was fun, but interactions with the people working there were not great. I should clarify that the girls at the front checking us in were quite kind but the people actually responsible for getting us out on the water and teaching us were rude and obviously acted like they would rather be elsewhere. They did not inform us at all when we were putting our stuff away and putting on life jackets that our rental time had already started and that that was included in the hour, and when they finally did we were 20 min into our rental and the girl informed us in quite a snarky annoyed tone. She then took her sweet time "teaching" us how to use the jet ski, by the time she finished we were about 30 min into our rental time. I guess I shouldn't have expected too much from a place that hires mostly high school aged employees, I'm sure they would've preferred to be doing something else and not dealing with people all day. To sum it up: soooooo much fun. I know this review is a little late but I don't review often! Better late than never :) Renting jet skis here is the way to go in the summer! Keeping a boat or jet skis on Lake Washington (unless you live on the lake) is way too expensive and keeping up with all the maintenance just isn't worth it, in my book. Paying a few hundred dollars for a few hours of fun in the sun is just my style. You get to have all of the fun and none of the work. Like the previous reviews, I was intimidated by the paperwork at first...feels like your signing your life away...but I guess I can understand there is a pretty big risk associated with renting out heavy machinery. Plus, the helpful boat guys give you a lesson on using the jet skis and, the way I see it, as long as I follow their directions I should be fine! I would definitely recommend renting from here whether you live in the city or you are visiting from out of town. Lake Washington is one of our beautiful attractions and on a sunny (or even overcast) day you will have so much fun on the water! read more

Had a great time renting a 24' boat here yesterday. Helpful staff, boat was in good condition. Got us out in the water fast. The huge plus was how helpful they were when we did something dumb and got the tubing rope wrapped around the impeller. Came out fast. Super helpful. I had an amazing experience at this place. My friends and I all came to rent jet skis here but we were running late. We came only about 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork (even though they ask to come earlier). The employees were very gracious and allowed us to bump our time back! Everyone I spoke to who worked here went above and beyond to help us, taking our clothes, putting them in cubbies, and truly clarifying all of the directions for us. It was my first experience jet skiing and I was very nervous but I felt very safe coming to this place. My friend misplaced her sunglasses and the workers did all they could to find them. I felt like the renters experience is a top priority for the people at Woodmark. I would love to come again and I HIGHLY recommend coming here! And personally, I think that just one hour is not enough! read more

Word of caution, watch your time carefully! Although we showed up exactly 30 minutes early as recommended, they were busy so we had to wait in line and the check-in process took more than 30 minutes. They didn't seem concerned that we were 10 minutes into our 1 hour rental period when we finally got out on the water, but when we returned an hour and 5 minutes later, the manager charged us a $50 late fee! It's a shame because the employees are super nice and we had a fun time and were planning to go again in a few days, but the manager's behavior ended the day on a sour note. Great location and a great lake. Almost no motorists. Jet Ski's come out to $100/hour after taxes and fuel surcharge. The staff is friendly and the equipment is new. They even put a small watch on the jet skis so you know how long you have been out there. The jet skis went to around 60 mph. We had a group of eight on a boat and our boat driver, EJ, was the best! He toured us all around the lake and pointed out some incredible landmarks. EJ was not only very knowledgeable but he was also very professional and kind, which went a long way with our group. Really great place overall, the jet-skis are impeccable, ride great in a flat lake surface. Staff was helpful and very friendly. You kind of have to get over the feeling of signing your first born over... Lots of paperwork. But nothing unusual for this type of rental. Rented 2 jet skis. They go real fast, so much fun! Great location on Lake WA. You basically have the entire lake to play in. Instruction was helpful, very well staffed. These are pricey, but on the cheaper end compared to other rentals in the area. In addition to $75/hr/jet ski, be prepared to pay $35+/jet ski for gas. Seems a standard 8 gallon fill is required after the ride. Would recommend this company. read more

We went to rent jet skis and were extremely disappointed with the terrible terms and conditions of renting. Basically, they take your credit card hostage and instead of allowing you to pay a reasonable deposit or purchase rental insurance for a nominal fee, like when renting a vehicle or a boat from another more reputable company, they require you to sign a document allowing them to charge you thousands of dollars if anything happens to their rental, including something outside your control. Basically, they are an under-insured business and pass all and every risk to their customers. They also charge for fuel and have a bunch of hidden fees in their terms and conditions, including down time of the rental. They don't show you the terms and conditions until after you pay, which is very deceptive. We decided not to rent from them and went somewhere else, asking for a refund. They botched the refund so we had to go back and ask them to fix it. I think people who don't read what they sign might be fine with this, but anyone who reads their terms and conditions will run away. read more

We just got back from an amazing hour of wave-running on Lake Washington after a super easy and smooth wave-runner rental process from Woodmark Waterfront Adventures. The "boatristas" were extremely helpful and thorough in answering all of our crazy questions - particularly those of my mate (he's the "is there a button I can press to make it go warp speed" type) and teaching us the dos and don'ts of safe and infraction free wave-running. They were also very accommodating in getting us up and running at a time and day that worked for us and upfront and right-on about the gas charges post ride. Great experience! read more

I rented 2 jet skis for an hour on Saturday morning. It was so much fun!! All of the staff is quite young, but they were as professional and courteous as a casual, fun place like this should be. I haven't rented jet skis before, but our total cost was just under $200 and that seemed like a fair price to me for the activity. When we returned, the poor staff was extremely overwhelmed with customers, but they handled themselves great, joking about how busy it was while still making sure we were taken care of as quickly as possible. Kudos to all of the staff working from 11:30-12:30 on 7/29/17. One thing I didn't realize is that all of the jet skis are 3 person, they are still extremely fun... just something I was surprised about (I guess I thought you'd have an option of a 1, 2, or 3 person depending on your preference) read more

We had a corporate sales meeting at the Woodmark Hotel and had a team builder for approx. 75 attendees with Woodmark Waterfront Adventures. This was the BEST region sales meeting we've ever had was the response from the attendees. The activities, coordination and staff were the best. Very personable, organized, attentive to our every need and most of all, it was a BLAST! They offered us jet skis, paddle boards, kayaking, jet boats, on and on. Everyone got to do a variety of activities in the allotted time. Please be advised they do not allow you to stop along the shore anywhere except at the place you rent the jet skis. That was not made clear to us at the time we left. They do have an excellent gestapo service that would make Nazi Germany proud to inform you of the bad communication you experienced at the beginning. However, to be fair, the jet skis were great and we did have a good time until we got busted. If you only need to have three people ride you won't regret it. read more
