I was a little apprehensive at first after hearing that it is both a salon and hotel, and reading some of the negative reviews about the condition of the rooms. I can only speak to our stay and our room which were both very nice. The room is contemporary, huge, and with well appointed furniture and fixtures. The place looks to have been updated sometime in the recent past, and was impeccably cleaned. I cannot think of a more central location to stay either. Walk out the suite's door and you are a minute away from shopping and dining options. The only downside, and it may be a big deal for late risers, is that suite 7 has a skylight located directly over the bed and does not have a means for closing it. I threw a T-shirt over my eyes and was fine, and my wife was up before it could even bother her. If this is a big issue than you may want to shop their other suites, which also look nice from the online pictures. We will stay at this hotel again in our next visit to Saugatuck.

Being my first experience, I was a bit nervous, but Kelli made me feel at ease. She was gentle and reassuring, checking in with me throughout the entire process to ensure my comfort. Kelli worked her magic on my lips, transforming them from uneven and thin to full and beautifully symmetrical. The cheek fillers worked wonders, making my dark circles practically disappear! Danielle walked me through every step and answered all questions I had before I could ask! The BBL treatment itself was smooth but of course a little pain was expected. Where the skin is thinner was probably a 7/10 (under eyes, around your nose) everywhere else 4/10 and manageable. The Moxi you are prenumbed and that's probably a 1/10 or 2/10. You don't feel that at all. AFTER however is a different story, expect a sunburn like feel! I would say immediately after treatment for 1-2 hours after is uncomfortable. After that it's breezy. Follow you're given directions and you're good to go! I am 6 days post, and my skin is looking absolutely wonderful. I can't wait in a couple of weeks for the healed result. Thank you so much Danielle and the staff for making me feel comfortable! When it came time for my appointment, I was running about four minutes late but from the moment I stepped in, I was encouraged to relax and not hurry. Their lobby has a soothing atmosphere, as do the halls and rooms. Julia did a wonderful job and was so thoughtful and professional. I thought a skin exfoliation would be only that, but Julia added other lovely little touches, like a heated eye mask and some light massage. I had a gift certificate to spend my first time, but I hope I can get back to Salubrity Vida again! *One thing to note is that the sign on the building is not super easy to see from the road, so give yourself enough time to go by it and turn around a couple times to find it (which I didn't--hence being late above...). :)

Due to Covid restrictions, Willow aren't currently allowed to serve any drinks or snacks, but they allow guests to bring their own treats to enjoy. The management coordinated with me to provide a mani/pedi for the ladies and to call me for payment so the birthday girls didn't have to worry about payment at all. At the end of the day, Ally gushed to me about how wonderful and relaxing it was. Willow nailed it. The only thing that didn't go great is that the specific nail treatment didn't last as well as expected, but the management made it right. They gave Ally a free touch up and shellack and they reimbursed me for Emily's mani. I will gladly use them again.

So I set up a consultation with Brittany so she could see my hair, and we could talk about what we were going to do with it. We agreed on a few low lights on top, and a few highlights through out. When the day came to get my hair done I was extremely excited. Brittany offered my a glass of wine while I got my hair done, and we engaged in casual conversation. By the time I was done my hair looked great. She ended up doing an ombre instead and it looked so natural and healthy. I ended up not coming in again for a few months and my hair grew out so nicely. But I wanted to go back to blonde all over for my second visit, I was in a time crunch and just told the receptionist I needed a cut, and alot of highlights. So someone that was great with blonde. They ended up setting me up with Aubrey. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and since it was so blonde in the picture, she said it would take a few visits to get to that shade of blonde, which I figured. She put close to 100 folis in my hair, and she was speedy and quick, but careful. She was absolutely fantastic! Her personality on top of her awesome skills made for an awesome visit. And my hair is exactly what I expected! Though they are on the pricy side, you pay for what you get! Definitely give Aubrey or Brittany a try if you want the blonde!

I completed two trials prior to ensure what I was looking for would be replicated on my wedding day. On the morning of my wedding, I specifically asked the stylist to use the hair netting she had used during my first trial, and she assured me it wouldn't be a problem. After my hair was finished, I was then told the salon had run out of the netting, so she had changed the bun instead. My hair looked completely different from both trials, and it was already falling apart before I even left the salon. Makeup artist Elaina attempted to salvage it back together with Bobby pins which was greatly appreciated. It was frustrating the salon didn't have the necessary supplies for a bridal appointment and didn't communicate that until after my hair was complete. One smaller issue was the credit card processing fee. It was never disclosed to me until I noticed the full amount of my deposit wasn't going to be applied to my final balance. Had I known there would be a processing fee, I would have used a different payment method for such a large transaction. Lastly, I got a gel French tip pedicure prior to the wedding. The polish application was sloppy and began peeling off that same day. The salon offered to fix it the next day, but unfortunately the repair still didn't hold. I'm disappointed in the outcome after multiple appointments and significant expense. The services did not meet expectations and I hope this review helps other brides.
