Definitely saloon feel, limited seating, dark inside. Food was ok, nothing exciting. I got pizza but crust was awful (not fresh) and so much thick cheese it was not good. Hubby and daughter had chicken sandwiches and they were average. Service was good. Only place in tiny town for dinner next time I'll cook in the rv. read more

Don't pass up this little gem right off I-90. The food is as authentic as the atmosphere. And, they're dog friendly!

We stopped here as we were passing through Montana. The bartender was extremely friendly, the portions were just right, and the beer was cold. What more could you want? The bartender also told us about a fun game they play where they hide a rubber duck, and if you find it you get a prize. We didn't see the duck but it made us feel welcomed. The town has a historic feel, making it a cool stop if you're passing through. Oh and they're dog friendly which is much appreciated when traveling with a furry companion. They even serve a puppy patty (unseasoned burger patty) for $4. read more

We stopped in for lunch on the way to Billings. Simple, delicious menu. The cheeseburgers, fries and onion rings were delicious. Definitely worth the stop. 100x better than any chain restaurant. We understand it's under new ownership in the last few years, true cowboy cooking - delicious burger! Outdoor seating and indoor. Clean bathrooms, games for the kids, cool decor and stage for bands. I haven't had the opportunity to eat at this establishment, however, my son's car broke down in Reed Point on his way home from college. The staff and manager of the Waterhole made sure he was safe and warm while he waited for a tow truck. My family is incredibly grateful for their hospitality and care for our son while he was 7 hours away from home and between a rock and a hard place! DO NOT TRY EATING HERE if you are staying at Old West RV Park. It's not what you expect. We are staying at the RV park and wanted to eat lunch here. They had a kitchen mishap earlier in the day but we were very nice and told them we would order easy to make burgers. We put in our order and waited almost 1.75 hours. Yes you read right!! This is not an exaggeration at all. We saw food be put up for delivery that looked like our but they took it to another table. We asked and they gave our food to someone else. So after waiting 2 hours we just said screw this place. I understand that you are a small town saloon but this was absolutely ridiculous. Only eat here if you have 4+ hours to wait. Biggest waste of time. Just eat at your RV. Seriously don't bother going to this place. It's not really a restaurant. They occasionally make some food... it appears. read more

Wow! We were driving cross country and had been on the road for hours. Reed Point was the nearest location on yelp with a bar that only had two reviews at the time. What a pleasant surprise! We are traveling cross country and stayed at the Old West RV park with the plan to walk down the road for dinner. The waterhole saloon looks like it hasn't been open in years even though online it looks like it's open. Old west Rv Park is a very nice place to spend the night though. Loved this place, overnighted in RVIA campground up the street and they told us about this place. Great surprise how cool this place was. Not the typical regular places to stop at. My husband and I had lunch here the other day and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time.
