Yummm. If you know Columbus, you probably wouldn't expect a good restaurant, let alone a good Chinese restaurant! But alas... Grand Fortune was a pleasant surprise :) the wait staff was sweet. Obviously family owned. It was clean and we got fast service. Prices were great. We ordered so much.. too much food and everything was really good!! I haven't been able to find Almond Chicken outside of Detroit metro and I was excited to see it on this menu. Rice was delicious and well cooked. We took a lot home! Great place to stop for dinner if you are driving down the 90. Definitely recommend!!

Interior of restaurant. Everything is spotlessly clean.

Super clean, fast, delicious! Had the garlic chicken with steamed rice. Plenty of tender chicken, tons of fresh vegetables that were perfectly cooked, and a tasty garlic sauce. Server was attentive and very pleasant. What a rural MT find! Will definitely be a repeat customer since we just bought a home in Absarokee.

Chicken lo mein - it's literally a pile of spaghetti noodles with a couple pieces of bland, flavorless chicken and a few veggies.

Tried this place with my family and it was incredibly disappointing. I ordered chicken lo mein and received this pile of spaghetti noodles with a few pieces of bland chicken and a handful of vegetables. No sauce or flavor to speak of. The fried rice was equally bland and tasted like nothing more than leftover brown rice with chunks of bland, flavorless chicken. I think the owners haven't discovered sauces or seasonings, or else they're cutting corners by leaving seasoning and flavoring out to save money. I know this is the only Chinese food place in the Columbus area but it's worth the drive to Laurel or Billings for food with actual flavor and proper price to value.

Go for the hot pot or sizzling seafood platter. Both are awesome. This place is really great. It's a hidden gem in a small town.

Very good Chinese! Worth driving past other restaurants from the freeway. Really loved the orange peel chicken and the Hot and Sour Soup.

Going to a Chinese restaurant in a small town is always risky, but especially risky in a small Montana town.

Finally. All the times I've traveled in this area, Uncle Sam's has been closed. Not this time…read more and I'm glad I stopped in. It's tiny, with seating for perhaps 40, but from what I saw they do a crazy busy carry out. Count me in that category. The place is decorated in red, white and blue but not overwhelming so. I rather liked the blue tablecloths with white stars. It was festive but not garish. The entire menu is sandwiches named for former Presidents and other American historical people. Not all, but about half. It's fun. I'm not sure how they picked the ingredients to match the person, maybe they just started with Washington and worked their way down, but the Jimmy Carter peanut butter made sense. So, too, did Ben Franklin and turkey. Anyone can create their own combination, of course, with choice of bread, meat, cheese, and condiments. It's all good. You can get a half or whole sandwich and a side. I went with the Zachary Taylor, a tuna salad. It's been a while, but I still crave that sandwich. One of the best tuna salads I've had in a long time. There was more tuna than mayo and that made it a winner. No mistaking the taste It's a good spot for a sandwich and soup or salad. Or even a dessert. Uncle Sams also has a small breakfast menu and if that's as good as the lunch, then count me in.

Graze Soup Salad & More - These were soups of the day! Yummy

Graze, I like that name. It fits for this new soup and salad place in Columbus…read more It's located at the end of a small strip shopping spot set back from the main road. Once you find it, you won't forget. It's a small place, with a dozen or so tables. The salad bar, off to the left as you enter and the soup stand at the back, are stocked with basic choices. It's not a behemoth salad/soup bar that can overwhelm you with options, but it does have a good mix of fresh salad fixings and soup. One look at the vegetables on the salad bar and I could tell the vegetables are hand cut. The soups (there were at least 3 on the day I was there) are all made by the owner. As with the salads, there are no pre-cut pieces of anything in the soup. Having sampled the chicken noodle soup, I can say it tasted home-made. The pieces of chicken were substantial and almost the same width as the large noodles. It was an ideal soup on that cold, dreary day. One of the owners was the cook for a local food truck and decided to expand to offer a healthier eating choice for the residents of the county. I appreciate her new direction, as it is hard to find a good salad place. Graze is a don't miss spot. You can eat-in or order to go, so there aren't any excuses for not giving it a try.
