The flow of the aisles and staggering of the different departments, makes for a pleasant shopping experience. The store is always super clean and well merchandised. I do believe they even have some more upscaled items that are not available at the Alton store. Today I was shopping for a baby shower gift and found a fabulous Aveeno mommy & baby gift basket. It was perfect, a little something for the momma as well as the new baby. The check out process took some time, but that was okay. It was obvious they were training new cashiers. We all need to have patience. Remember, it is a virtue. Many of my favorite places to shop in E-ville are near this Target, so it makes it easy for me to stop by whenever I am in town. They have a great selection, everything from seasonal (currently Easter) toys, to dress up, stuffed animals, puppets, baby toys, books, board games, tonies, art supplies and so much more! The staff were helpful and friendly but let us roam around with our toddler without feeling rushed or pressured. All of the products appeared to be good quality and we felt good shopping local rather than Amazon. We ended up purchasing a neat little book that tells an audio story. They had others that were my first Bach book, my first Mozart, my first Ballet etc. that were more musical and less story. So much neat stuff, we spent quite a while in the store and I foresee us coming back for future holidays and birthdays.

I wanted something different for the kids in my life, even if I had to spend a little bit more. My first trip to the store, I got acquainted with the layout, and all the wonderful toys and games filling the space. The second visit, I started to narrow my shopping list. Third trip, I purchased items. The staff was there when I needed them, but didn't hover, and let me browse. Went to Exactime to get a new watch band. I had the old one that had broken and looked…read moreunrepairable to me. He said he could fix it and did so in 5 minutes for less than half what a new band would have cost. Not a lot of money but I was really impressed that he took the time to save me some money when he could have easily sold me a new band. So rare to see that these days.
