They are not the cheapest , but I had a sense of trust as soon as I reached out to both of them. They removed the grotto and reshaped the pool , worked on matching the spa step and from my pick of the tiles to the execution they were answering any of my questions - the whole process took 3 weeks! They drained my pool and did an acid wash, charged me over $300 for "startup chemicals" and assured me the pool would be clean for my tenants but they knew all along that they were going out of business so they stopped sending the pictures with the weekly status reports and started ghosting me when I inquired about why I haven't been receiving the pictures and of course no reply! Against my better judgment and as a gesture of good faith, I prepaid my pool service from September until February so I didn't have to deal with very unreasonable tenants. To my surprise, Johhny and Trinity did not refund the remainder of my prepayment and lied to the new contractor Desi at Pool Medic who to my surprise tried to get me to pay for Dec & January pool service . They seemed like honorable people, but I can't warn you enough to stay away from these people if they ever get back into the pool business again. They ghosted me and then claimed they didn't sell their business to another vendor and to my surprise I got a bill for services that were already prepaid from Pool Medic. Johhny assured me he would send me receipts of the credits to my credit cards but as of today that never happened. Nevada law says 10% upfront only and every time they did work for me they wanted 100% upfront. What a disappointment and betrayal of trust! Karma will get these two!

The pool smart team gave me practical advice on how to do the repair economically, and was even cool with me shopping for parts online. No upsell or up charge pressure at all! It turned out to be a really complicated replacement, due to a lot of difficult job site conditions that weren't expected at the beginning of the job. The main thing is the rock wall. The job they did started rusting in under a month. Then the attempt to water seal the concrete left an eye sore and also dripped into the pool and on the tiles. I had to fix all of that myself because the more they tried to fix things the worse it got. The pipes for the waterfall leak inside and behind the wall causing white streaks everywhere. And in terms of time to complete, it was not great. Took nearly a month and a half because they would sometimes not come for a week at a time often without communication for days on end. The overall construction of the rock wall is not good or what was advertised in the quote. It looks very amateur and the structural issues will ensure that I will have issues now and down the line. I had to intervene several times and it still missed the mark. On the good side their prices are competitive and basic plastering and tiling seems to be alright so far, but I wouldn't use or reach out to them again. Nobody should expect their pool to look like this weeks after paying for a remodel.

This review…read moreis for a recent project Crevys did for me regarding an old leaking pvc pipe that carried pool water to my solar panels to heat my pool. Had the old thermometers on them that were of no use to me because the previous owner had installed an electric panel to control the solar and heat for the pool. Leak got so bad that I had to have Crevys remove a portion of both pvc pipes and replace them. What an amazing job he did with the pipes. Now I don't have to worry about any leaks or replacing the thermometers later on down the road. Next year I plan on updating the solar panel and getting the roof pipes updated along with it.
