Joseph showed me around and asked all the pertinent questions in order to select the appropriate tree for my yard. Joseph walked me through the upkeep and patiently answered all of my questions. He was also able to provide the right type of soil and fertilizer to ensure that my new tree would live a long and happy life in its new home! The store is spacious and well stocked with healthy plants that include some very unique varieties. They've included locally made goods from area artists such as jewelry and also stock some fun crystals and local honey. Check out their socials for fun events like Plant Bingo. During the farmers market downtown each Saturday, they open early. The people there are so kind and very knowledgeable. I will only buy my indoor plants here! This business totally ruined my garden dreams. They took advantage of a sick person who has been…read morebedridden for the last two years and just started getting out of bed and started gardening. I purchased their 420 gardening mix which THEY THEMSELVES RECOMMEND for gardening purposes. When I started watering the soil, as the water contacted the soil it became apparent that is was mostly sand. I proceeded to do a quick soil test where you put your soil in a jar and shake it. The contents will fall on to the bottom and separate into layers. To my eye, it looked like it was 60-70% sand. I kept calling asking questions about the soil, BUT Theresa, the owner kept going in circles, repeating their no refund policy and stating they haven't had issues with the soil. Understandably so I got impatient and upset with Theresa and told her that the product is a scam. I will admit, I was upset and hung up on her as she DID NOT APOLOGIZE ONCE. She kept telling me "I'm sorry you feel this way but the soil is good, I don't know what to tell you." The whole time I was on the phone with her, which was multiple times, she never told me that she was the owner. I asked to speak to a manager. She gave a number to call. Well, it turns out she referred me to her soil supplies. This guy mixes the soil himself. According to him it is 50% sand. A quick google search will tell you that soil should not contain more than 25% sand. Their supplier, whom Theresa referred me to, told me the sand content is 50%!!!!!!!!!! I spent 4K thousand dollars on this garden, paid guys to fill the beds and not I have 5 cubic yards of unusable soil. I posted about this in my local Facebook page and other people are reporting the same issue. I'm being quoted thousands to dig it up and dispose of it. This soil should not be marketed as a gardening soil. I'm sure it's great for other things but not gardening. It is a scam and it will ruin your gardening dreams. I also purchased some pea gravel, that I love. But their gardening mix is flawed and needs fixing. Please don't make the same mistake as I did. This business has no integrity and goes as far as to slander their customers and make it out to be the customers fault. I hung up on Theresa because of many reasons one for them being that I'm severely ill from very difficult medication I'm taking and running to the bathroom with nausea and vomiting multiple times per day. The owner has since attacked me personally online on Facebook where I asked if people were having issues with the soil. She hasn't apologized or attempted to try to remedy any of it.

They were attentive, present asked if we needed help, walked us to the aisle of the item we were searching for, and knew exactly where everything was. At the checkout Ali noticed that the wooden beams we had chosen were extremely expensive. He checked in with us to make sure they were the ones we wanted. In doing so, we had discovered we chose the wrong beams and had no idea we would've paid so much money! We probably would've figured it out eventually but Ali saved us so much time and money! He actually cared and provided that human touch. He didn't have to do that. Also, when we were walking in, my mom uses the motorized scooter and there was a man coming out that greeted her so cheerfully and made her laugh. There was also another gentleman inside the store that when my mom's motorized scooter got caught on one of the corners when she was making a turn, he stopped to assess the situation and helped us get her scooter free. Again he didn't have to do that. It's nice to know that people still look out for you and smile in your community. The Bingo caller was clear to understand, and the live plants (prizes) were gorgeous - florists quality. Upon arriving guests got to pick a small plant along with a little pretty rock as a party favor. All the beautiful plants were labeled along with care instructions. I will definitely be going to another of her Bingo's later this month. Found out she has a retail shop with plants & workshops & other goodies next door to Vic Stewart's. Her vibe is positive & uplifting. A good value for the quality of the prizes. I would recommend.

There are step-by-step instructions on what to do. We put in dirt, and rocks, colored sand and moss. We planted a little succulent and then decorated the top with little fairies and unicorns. They have all kinds of stuff to decorate with from dinosaurs to lollipops. The kids loved it and I even got involved. Such a fun thing to do with the kids and now I'm thinking about maybe doing a little birthday party here.
