Watershed sent me "a note" about my tip to call in to verify one's appointment time. First of all, I would have approved it if it were accurate - I was not one hour late as they claimed (22 mins late). Second, most client-oriented establishments offer a courtesy call one day in advance, so I do not feel it is too much to ask. We all have lives, so naturally I cannot focus all my energy on remembering one appointment. Third, despite my stating that I thought I was early, they never showed me their appointment book which I felt was AWKWARD, ultimately gave me a bad feeling, and left me questioning their business ethics. Being that we were in disagreement, that would have been the best thing to do if aiming to provide the best customer service possible. (If any business had it on record and courteously showed it to me, then I myself would have apologized for the inconvenience.) Also, there was ALREADY another vehicle inside their garage, so how could I know they weren't lying to me? Anywho, I rebooked only because I had the Groupon. All in all I didn't feel the service provided was anything special, so I went back to Century Blvd to buy all my own detailing products. Watershed was decent at detailing, but without a deal you could probably find a better priced, same quality job elsewhere. read more

Another great deal at watershed! I took my truck with scratches and water spots and for 150 bucks he spent three hours polishing and waxing it. The truck looks better than new now, those scratches are gone and its ready to be shown off. I don't even live in town anymore and I still drive all the way out to go here. Always will. read more

My car has a 115,000 miles on it and to be honest it was showing its age. It runs great and I take good care of it mechanically, but the exterior was looking a tired. My car had 6 years under the California sun and has never been garaged by the previous owner so the paint was starting to look dull. After I brought my car here the BLACK paint looks deeper and more clear than I have ever seen it and the wax that was used is of very high quality and the paint feels like glass when you rub your hand across it. Several scratches were removed with ease and my rims look new and my brand new tires have a nice dressing on them to keep the tire from getting dried out and gives it a nice clean look. I did not pay for any interior work but they were nice enough to vacuum the inside and save me some time which I really appreciated. Nowhere else in Ventura County compares to be honest, David and his wife are very hospitable and explain to you exactly what needs to be done and how they will do it, honesty goes a long way in business and they are very honest. After purchasing a Groupon I thought I would try this detailing place. I read the restrictions and called to make an appointment. I was told between 8 and 8:30 am. They called the day before to remind me and said my appointment was at 8. I said I could make it at 8:20 as I had to get a ride from someone from their place. They said no, they would have to cancel if I could not be there at 8. I rearranged my schedule to get there at 8 on the dot! When I arrived I was then told that I had an up charge of $10 for my SUV. I said this was not in the restrictions and was my car not an SUV (it's a crossover that only has one row of seats, no four wheel drive and no more cleaning area than any sedan). Well admittedly I was unhappy by now and the lady helping me said she would nor serve me because I had a bad attitude. Seriously? I even said fine, I will pay the extra $10 but she still refused citing my attitude as the reason. I left without a detailing, a useless Groupon and a desire to let anyone I know that this is SO wrong. The owner of the company should fire this woman. Ultimately, I think they do not want to redeem Groupon's. I am generally a kind person who hates confrontation. I was prepared to leave a $30 tip for the people who did the detailing knowing that a coupon often leaves them underpaid. I am appalled however at the lack of service and rudeness represented by this company. read more

I purchased the $59 get's you $120 worth of Service coupon from AmazonLocal. I called to make an appointment. David told me that they couldn't do my car for the coupon I purchased. I have a Toyota Venza, "the coupon was intended for smaller cars". I asked him how much it would cost if I wasn't using a coupon. He said "That would be between $95 and $120"!! Really??? I purchase a coupon for $120 worth of service but I can't use it for $120 worth of service!!! How rediculous!! He couldn't understand how I didn't understand the difference. He said because my car required more work than a "compact" car. I reminded him I only wanted the seats done, and that would be the same as any four door. He said they couldn't because I purchased a coupon for an entire interior detail. I told him that I felt their ad leaned toward unethical. He said too bad I felt that way. Now I am going to contact AmazonLocal. And I won't be giving Watershed ANY of my business, ever. Obviously this company is not doing very well, otherwise why the coupon? My car was done in less time than I thought it would take, and they were able to address my areas of concern with the upholstery. I' recently found an Amazon Local deal for this place a few weeks ago and decided to purchase it. If I can recall it was for an exterior only detail with interior vacuum for $54.00 bucks--a voucher for a $135.00 value. I called and made an appointment to drop off my truck in the morning and then pick it up after work. Upon dropping off my truck I was greeted by David who was extremely nice and very customer oriented. To me this really shows he truly cares about his customers. He gave me a very thorough breakdown on how they were going to detail the truck and prior to handing him my keys, he inspected the truck for any dings/damages. I got off of work early purposely so I could get back to the shop before they closed. Fortunately, David advised me that they can wait for me even past business hours, which was a plus since I work in the valley, with traffic and picking up my kids it meant cutting it close to pick up time. I didn't want to inconvenience them of keeping the shop open and just waiting for me--but thankfully there was another vehicle still getting worked on when I got there. Anyway, I couldn't believe how good the truck looked!!! It had that wet look to it and soft to the touch feeling when I rolled the back of my hand on the hood. Keeping in mind I haven't washed my truck in months. We recently did renovations at my house and a ton of overspray from paint and demolition dust/dirt settled on my truck. Given the weather we've had it pretty much baked on my hood. My truck was completely pampered after bringing it to Watershed--looked almost brand new, granted it's a 2010 with only 31k miles. Look, this is a competitive industry and that is a bold statement to make, but how many detailers do you know make their own chemicals, offer very fair prices, are honest, and will treat your car with more respect than you do? I would guess not very many if any. They take their job very seriously and will take good care of you and your car. It really doesn't matter if you roll in with your 1993 Honda Odyssey, Subaru STi, or Porsche GT3, every car gets the same expert level treatment and care. I have a new 2014 Accord and not even 3 days old some inconsiderate driver decides to leave a 3 foot scratch all along the passenger side door. I do a search and find Watershed and their reviews look great. Call them up and ask to see if someone could look at my car and they say come on in. When I arrive I am greeted by David. Very kind and knowledgable person. He assesses the damage and explains everything to me in detail. I liked that a lot, he was honest with his assessment and explanation of length of time it would take to fix the issue. He did a wonderful job making my new car look new again. I purchased 2 car details coupons from WaterShed. I had my husband's van done. Wasn't too pleased with the job that they did but didn't want to complain. Brought my car back another day. They were very rude. No customer service in mind. The owners are a young couple, they have much to learn about treating customers right. My husband and I recently sold our Mazda CX-9 to our Aunt, and before we handed it over, we wanted to get it detailed so it would be looking like a brand new car when she received it. We dropped the car off with Dave and the guys early in the morning, and by 5pm when we came to pick it up it literally looked like a brand new car. Seems the groupon users received poor service, unless they owned a luxury car. Other cars were in the bay when I arrived. They did not offer me a ride home after saying how I lived only a few blocks away. Had my vehicle for 6 hrs. and it still wasn't clean. I just picked up my car from being detailed and it was a great experience. It was embarrassingly dirty, and hadn't been waxed in quite some time. It came out looking like new! It hasn't been this shiny since it rolled off the dealer lot. I had fading black trim which was restored to a deep black, and they were able to get the white dog fur out of my black carpets. Everyone was super nice, and I couldn't be happier. It's shame that they received some bad clients/reviews out of the Groupon deal they held, but I can say that they also have some future return customers who aren't just hunting for the next coupon. My honest reaction when I picked up my car was "WOW!!!" We took our 2015 Honda Accord, black on black, for a much needed renewal. It had seen some wear & tear beyond what the car wash could handle, being our daily driver, carting kids around, school and LAX parking lots, etc. WaterShed exceeded my expectations doing an exterior, interior, and engine detail. The engine looks better than when the car was new! The interior is now immaculate and protected. He removed some scuffs and scratches from the exterior, and left our black car shiny and protected.
