My wife and I just had a new pool installed by Waterside Pools. We chose Waterside Pools not just because of their excellent reviews and great reputation but also because we knew 2 people who had pools built by Waterside and were very satisfied. I have to say we were very happy with our decision and the experience has been great!From day one, our designer Daria was very professional, patient and really listened to what we wanted. We were amazed seeing what our backyard could possibly become and were excited for the project to begin. Once construction was started our construction manager, Cat, was absolutely amazing and always stayed on top of everything throughout the entire process. Communication was great throughout as Cat and crew were always willing to answer all questions. Cat was always calming and reassuring which helped make the process less chaotic. We found that throughout the entire build all crews were professional, skilled and really payed attention to detail. Our pool was just completed and it is beautiful. We had our pool done in 2024. We have had no problems. Our pool construction started in October as promised and was done by February. The process was seamless from our designer to our construction team and then pool school. We've been happily swimming since! They were not the cheapest quote but when you are looking for a pool builder my advice is to keep in mind the equipment, reputation and quality of work. # BEWARE: Waterside Pools Inc. & Jason Pavlow Refuse to Honor Warranty for Structural Defects **Rating: (1/5)** I'm writing this review to warn potential customers about Waterside Pools Inc. and owner Jason Pavlow's refusal to stand behind their workmanship and warranty obligations. ## Serious Structural Issues In April 2023, I purchased a home with a pool built by Waterside Pools (construction 2020-2021). What wasn't disclosed during the sale was that **rust from rebar had already begun emerging from the pool wall within the first 18 months** after completion - a clear sign of substandard construction. The previous owners had this "repaired" under warranty by Waterside. ## Failed Warranty Work Less than a year after their warranty repair, the same rust/rebar damage returned. Upon discovering this after moving in, I contacted Waterside Pools Inc. and owner Jason Pavlow with photographic evidence, requesting they honor their warranty and repair their failed work. ## Refusing Responsibility Mr. Pavlow's response was shocking: 1. First claiming "the warranty doesn't apply to new owners" and suggesting I "contact someone else" 2. Then stating "they don't do repairs" (despite having done the previous warranty repair) 3. Finally offering to "give an estimate" to fix their own failed work - expecting me to pay for it! ## Poor Quality Throughout Beyond the structural issues, two $500 Hayward niche lights failed with less than 500 hours of use. Again, despite this being a complete Hayward system that should warrant replacement under manufacturer warranty, Waterside refused to address this issue. ## Financial Impact While I may not be the original contract holder, I certainly paid for this pool - to the tune of approximately $100,000 in the home's purchase price (compared to similar homes without pools in the neighborhood selling for $110,000 less). ## The Bottom Line An honest, reputable company would stand behind their workmanship and make this right. Instead, Mr. Pavlow prefers to wash his hands of responsibility. Waterside pools is most unprofessional company I have ever had the displeasure to work with, Jason Pavlow the owner of waterside pools shows no concern or care for your happiness, he uses foul language, threatens and is very disrespectful. His emails are condescending and rude. His company took over a year to finish our pool. The watweside painter spilled paint in the pool twice, the pool had to be drained at our expense and patched. We now have a patch in our brand new pool. The grader had to regrade the yard twice, as we did not pass Palm Coast inspections, you can view it on the city website. Between the dozens of emails and texts, Jason did not come to our home to see the issues and concerns we had while we we present to discuss in person. On multiple occasions we asked if he would just take a look so we could review our issues in person and he would not. The manager and staff was rude, did not show when he said he would, and was unprofessional a well. We have called Hayward pool manufacturers and let them know we will not use Waterside pools should we need any help in the future. They explained we can choose another company going forward if needed. I strongly suggest you choose a different company than Waterside pools. You will be disappointed in the craftsmanship, time line, and customer service. Our sales rep was amazing, but just like many others, he no longer works for Waterside. I would guess it was due to dishonesty and unreliability of this company. Jason called us today, a year from complletion from a restricted number, screaming, and yelling with foul language and threats. This is related too our Google reviews and facebook post. We want to warn the public about the unprofessional behavior at Waterside pools. He has proven again today that our reviews are legitimate. We have reported him to the Flagler County sheriff and will move forward with any legal action of he continues to harrass us. We're almost done with our pool completion, however there are a few big thing that are done wrong and would like them fixed. However, they want their money NOW. What recourse do we have if it is paid in full. I understand the contract says "pay remaining balance when pool is filled". I guess a assumed this was at the finish. It is not!!!! Be ware of the contract. Don't expect it to be done on time either. I've given it 3 states for now but this could go up or down depending on the outcome. Stay tuned!! read more

Waterside Pools came highly recommended to me for a pool installation and I am so happy that I followed that advice. Jason and his team were professional, personable, accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. As a first time pool owner, I relied heavily on their expertise through the design and installation and was not disappointed. They went out of their way to accommodate the schedule for completion and actually completed the pool a week ahead of schedule in spite of Hurricane Matthew arriving in the middle of things. It took a little time to get on their schedule which Jason told me might happen but once we got started (as promised), they were here from starting day to completion. The job site was clean, orderly and safe and they delivered on everything they promised. Their weekly updates were timely and accurate and I always knew what would be done each week and who I could expect onsite. I have found every person at Waterside - from the onsite workers to the office staff to be a pleasure to deal with. They have answered every call, kept every promise and delivered an absolutely beautiful pool without issue. DONT Waste your time!!! Wouldnt even give a star but have to on this site. Made an appointment with them 2 weeks ago and the day of appt decides to make his own schedule and show up 46 mins early when we werent there and then tells us to make another appt caused hes too busy. Why make appointments then?? Waterside pools is not a pool contractor I would ever recommend to anyone. I have learned the hard way that not only are they very expensive but, they're quality of workmanship is subpar at best. My pavers have sunken down several inches and entire patio around pool had to be ripped up twice in less than 2 years. It's now a little over 2 years old and pavers are again sinking. This situation was not supposed to happen for upwards of 10 years after completion. It's happened 3 times in less than 3 years. The Screened enclosure that Waterside Pools installed is a engineered disaster. They incorrectly installed the gutters and have effectively caused a constant irrigation problem that has damaged thousands of dollars in landscaping and cost of repairs. Their pathetic and ineffective attempts to fix problem never actually addressed the problem. They just did repeated bandaid repairs. Fixing the problem would require disassembly of 1/3 of the birdcage and properly installing it. Beware! Waterside Pools is quick to take you're money. Problems are addressed in the easiest way that suits Waterside pools. Beware! read more
