Wrong hot tub delivered, safety straps for cover missing, poor advisement on tub we were told would fit our space. communication and follow up might be the worst, nightmarish hell I've experienced. They don't care. It's obvious. read more

When I called for help with the pool, Waterworks , Waterworks came out and saw the mess we were in. They were able to come in and completely clean our pool and restore it. The previous full-service left us in a total mess. We had to sue to get our money back, and with the expertise of Waterworks team, they were able to fix and get our pool running for us. I can't thank them enough for all the hours and diligence it took. Every member of the team, Peter, Colby, Anthony, Travis, every single one of them was the most professional and courteous to us. Jonathan came out to repair our spa when we couldn't find anyone else that would take the job and he did a terrific job. After researching local and regional pool companies, we decided in the Spring of 2021 to work with Waterworks Pool and Spa. Colby met with us and went over all of our options for our challenging backyard space, which required a 50' retaining wall. He worked within our budget and made himself available throughout the process. Having a pool installed during a pandemic was incredibly challenging, but Colby kept us abreast of the process the entire way. At the end of the day, we're incredibly pleased with our new fiberglass pool installation. We have a beautiful pool to enjoy and look forward to spending lot of time around our new addition. We love our hottub but customer service is really bad. The tub is not even a year old and the heating element went out - it is under warranty so we weren't worried - we called and they said they would order the part. Three weeks later we called again and they told us they could not find the order:( so, they said they would order it again - after we had to ask them to do that - now it is 2 weeks later and still no word from them - if I wanted to sit in a warm tub I would fill my bathtub but with hotter water. Customer service and repair are some of the worst I have ever dealt with. When I filled the tub in May of 2021 we noticed the water level couldn't be maintained and called for service, expecting a leak. I spoke to someone named Aaron. Aaron told me it would be over 30 days before I could get a repairman. I was disappointed to hear, but in light of the situation with getting anyone to work, I was patient and willing to work with what he said. Aaron also said that there would be an $85 trip charge, which I expected and was fine with it, he also said that if the tech had to return to Asheville to get parts, order parts and return to fix the tub the $85 would cover both trips. On June 21, 2021 a technician came, found the leak almost immediately and tried to repair it. After less than an hour he said he would have to order the part and come back. He said he would go to the store and have Aaron order the part, then Aaron would call me to set up a new appt. After a couple of weeks when I hadn't heard back I called the store and again spoke to Aaron. He had no knowledge of any part or return visit. He said he'd have to call the tech to find out details. He did call me back fairly quickly and said the part was only about $5, if he ordered it he would have to upcharge me twice the amount and gave me the link so I could order it myself. I was agreeable and he said when I had the part call him and he would reschedule a return for the tech. I ordered the part and called Aaron, left a message...no return call. This went on for a week and finally got Aaron on the phone. His excuse for not returning the calls to get my appt rescheduled was people were on vacation and they were extremly busy. I asked Aaron about the billing and he said I would be responsible for the trip charge but the labor would be under warranty and they would bill me when the work was completed. By this time it is mid-July and we have not been able to use the tub all summer. He gave me another 30+ days for the appt time..into mid August. The date for the service came, the tech was a no show, repeated calls, voicemals and emails to Aaron went unanswered. My husband used his cell phone to call them and got Aaron on the phone. I had printed out all the emails, texts, and listed the dates for all the calls where I had left messages. The first words out of Aarons mouth were, he NEVER recieved any calls, texts or emails from me. At that point my husband started reading off dates and times and verbiage of emails and texts. Aaron then apologized and said he would schedule the appt for 2 weeks from that day. The tech arrived and installed the jet which took about 15 minutes. He also told us that Aaron smoked so much pot he was screwing up all the scheduling and would probably be fired soon. The only invoice I rec'd from Waterworks was a bill for the trip charge, which came after I ordered the part and before the tech came back the second time. I replied to Aaron's emailed invoice telling him I would pay this bill when the work was completed. Fast forward to now. On November 18th I rec'd an emailed invoice from Christy, for the trip charge. I paid the $90 and thought my business with Waterworks was finally done. Then last week I rec'd another invoice for $80 for labor on the work the tech did the warranty didn't cover. I tried to explain to her that was not what I was told when I dealt with Aaron, she was unconcerned that one of their representatives gave me bad info, lied to me, refused to take my calls or return my messages. I know this is long, but hopefully will keep others from making the mistake of thinking their customer service extends to beyond the sale. Once they have your money and the product is delivered they could care less. Our tub was available for us to enjoy for about a month. It's now drained and winterized again. I would never go to Waterworks for anything and deeply regret ever doing business with them. read more
