My son has been working with Jairo and I cannot say enough nice things about him! He's great at communicating what my son is learning and what he needs help in. Jairo does a great job at connecting with my son and being silly when needed but also getting serious when my kid is trying to slack off. I miss this place so much. Recently relocated out of state and started attending a new swim school and kept thinking about how great we had it here. My kiddo is very timid and was so scared of the water but her instructor was the best! If you're looking to enroll, I highly recommend Vasti! She is literally the best!!! Anthony is a very good swim instructor. I have 2 adult children with autism. The older one started with just staying at the corner of the pool, not wanting to at least try to dip his face in the water. But because of Anthony's patience and determination for him to learn, he does not have a fear of water anymore. He can float , roll-over and do some swim stroke. The same is true for my younger adult child. Because of Anthony's hard work and understanding of my children's disabilities and their behaviors that come along with it, my children have come this far. I just had my first swim lesson, and it was awesome! I'm a 35-year-old woman and I was dealing with a lot of anxiety since it was my first time learning, but Nicholas was amazing! He's a great instructor who explains himself well and gives a lot of feedback. I was surprised by how much I was able to do. I am trying to learn as much as I can within a certain timeframe, so I booked two classes back to back and it was the perfect way to do it. I've already booked the same for next weekend, and the process was super easy. Vasti is an amazing coach! She's patient, but firm when needed. My kids absolutely love her! They used to be in puddle jumpers and nervous without them, but after working with Vasti, they've gained much needed confidence and have developed great swim skills. We were looking for a certified swimming program near us and decided to try Waterworks Swim School in Riverside. It is located inside of LA Fitness off of Arlington. We tried a few coaches and all were great. However, our son took a liking to coach Anthony. He offers encouraging and engaging lessons that are geared towards each students individual needs. Our son has a fear of the deeper end, but Coach Anthony encourages and pushes our son enabling him to conquer his fears. I can tell that all the coaches have an understanding of child psychology and development which is very important in helping them achieve their swimming goals. I would definitely recommend Waterworks Swim School and can't wait to see what my son can achieve by the end of summer. read more

My son is newly 5 and not much swim experience. He's learned so much during our time here. We have been with Waterworks for about 10 weeks and go 1-2 times a week. We have had to take a week off here and there. I love the flexibility, availability in the schedule. It really works for us. My son has been a student of both Anthony and Jorge and loves them! I really like their scheduling process. It allows you to cancel up to an hour before the lesson, and scheduling make-up lessons is easy. We have had low instructor turnover. I have a definite preference in the instructor I want my son to work with but I think that has more to do with my son's personality than the quality of the instructors. Pricing is fair and billing is consistent and reliable. The website takes a little time to navigate. They follow up with calls just often enough. The pool at LA Fitness is sparkling clean and a good temperature. Highly recommended. read more
