WATSON DIESEL REPAIR in Shelton, WA is a ripoff! They had my truck for 10 weeks and went from a $1,300.00 estimate to charging me $8,222.98!! They lied, stalled, did shoddy workmanship, broke my cruise control and AC then held my work-truck hostage until I was forced to pay $8,222.98. Watson did excellent work on my Motorhome. When ours want to charge for a complete overhaul for $20,000, Watson was able to diagnose the problem and replace the two bad injectors and the injector pump and had it running good as new. I had an engine light come on my Sprinter Class A Motorhome and brought it to Watson Diesel Repair. The gentleman there was very friendly and helpful. They even let me connect to their wifi while we waiting for the part (fuel pump). I asked if they could also look at a hubcap that was making noise, he tightened it up at no charge. While they were working on my rig, i asked if I could change the oil in my generator, they offered a oil pan and helped with a tool to help get the bolt back on. Not to mention, they had some trouble getting the correct part, but they didn't charge me for the extra time spent. Great spot to take care of your diesel. I trust them 100%. read more

Watson Diesel Repair was able to get my radiator ordered and shipped there, and then was able to get me in fairly quickly to fix it. They quoted me a price for 4-hrs of labor and included the A/C, should they need to do it as well. They even brought me home while they worked on it and picked me up in my car, so I could test it out and make sure all was good to go. Once I got back to the shop with my car to pay for the repair, I was pleasantly surprised that they only charged me for 3-hrs of labor AND they didn't have to do anything to my A/C! I asked if we could check my heater and make sure it's working, and we went outside, and sure enough, my A/C and heater were both working. I haven't needed to add water at all to my radiator. It seems like everything is good to go. The repair guy was very friendly and explained why he didn't need to charge the A/C, and the gal and the guy at the counter were both friendly as well. Watson Diesel Repair is too busy for you! I waited 2 weeks to get an appointment, I was thinking I was getting real experts. I took my truck in and after 4 full business days of waiting... they were able to do about an hours' worth of work (they hooked up a computer to get error codes) and they made minor checks. The rest of my time was waiting... while they worked on other customer's stuff. Their mechanic recommended replacing all 8 fuel injectors and they quoted me $4,000 dollars (the parts only cost $1000 so they were charging me $3000 in labor?) Obviously, my Ford F350 diesel was NOT in professional hands. I was told twice over the 4-day period, "They just didn't have time to get to it." That is baloney, and its unprofessional! Don't waste your time or money at Watson, take you vehicle over to Andy's in Elma (like I did), you will be much happier with the work and customer service. Oh, and the funny part about Watson being so busy, when I showed up at 10am in the morning, to get my truck back there were 5 employees standing around. read more
