There was a family member that wanted to rent a trailer but didn't have a truck to be able to haul it so we offered to tow it with our truck. Asked Sundance if we could do that and they said as long as the person paying for the trailer was there as well. So we showed up to pick up the trailer and they then said No the person towing the trailer had to pay for the rental. Then when getting ready to take the trailer and going over it to check for damages there were so many things that were not noted in the file directly but the person there said that they were on a "Work Order" to be repaired. We finally get the trailer to the camp location and when opening the trailer door realize that the hinges on the door were so bad that when you opened the door the wall of the trailer flexed so we had to use WD-40 to lubricate the hinges so that it wouldn't damage the trailer more. A few days into the rental we also heard water dripping and opened the cabinet under the sink to find the plumbing under the sink was leaking. Overall this trailer should have never been sent out and instead apparently they just keep adding items to the "Work Order". We really wanted to return it on Monday but didn't trust that they wouldn't try to charge us for things we weren't responsible for so we waited to return until Tuesday. We were glad we did because there was a different person checking it in and he kept trying to charge us for previous damages that were on the "Work Order". If we rent a RV again we would go anywhere else than here even if it meant driving hours away, the headache just isn't worth it.

Also I requested that the hitch and locking pin used to bring my trailer in with be returned to me. I made it very clear and spoke to Tabitha and another lady there strongly stating I would need that pin and hitch back. Instead , they installed a new sway bar hitch and used the pin that I specifically requested them not to use. It was a unique situation as I had a buyer for my trailer coming to pick it up from their lot after they installed the new hitch. They did not explain to him how to use it after he was specifically told that they would explain that to him. The man and his wife had traveled all the way from Arizona to pick up this trailer. When I asked about the pin and the hitch that I had on there when I brought it in, They gave me the hitch back without the pin. The man opened the gate and said it wasn't his job, he wasn't supposed to be helping us at all, He was just a part salesman. Then he directed us to take it to the service center , which was a parking lot over. He came over there and tried to pull the pin out of the trailer hitch. When that didn't work , I went to the service center and asked the men that we're working inside if they were the ones who installed the new sway bar hitch. They were very rude and seemed super arrogant and very defensive, although I asked if they could please Remove the pin and put the pin in that came with new one they installed. He seemed bothered I would even ask. He then went to the parking lot and said there was no way to get the pin out unless he took the hitch off. Said he would be right back. He never came back out. The man that came to purchase my trailer had to call the manager. Their solution was to give me a new locking pin. Their attitude was as if they were doing us a favor. The attitudes of the service workers were terrible and they never did explain to the man that purchased my trailer or myself, what exactly was done or how to properly work the hitch. In addition to that, they told the man who was purchasing my trailer and truck false information and even went as far as appraising my vehicle. Basically told him it wasn't worth his purchase. Also had various pricing. Told the man it would cost $500 for an inspection and then told me $800. They lied pretty much about everything. After all this happened I shared this story with some locals, turns out they are known for their arrogant I am better than you attitudes. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

I was told if there was anything wrong I would be contacted promptly. After 2 weeks and no posting on there web page I grew suspicious. I contacted John with no return call, I waited another 2 weeks and finally got a hold of John Coumbs. He the told me He had been meaning to call but just kept forgetting for the last 2 weeks. It seems they found an issue with my rv and declined to sell it. I arranged for pickup and showed up to do so and he informed me they had been broken into in the secure lot and my batteries and propane tanks were taken. He did replace the batteries and tanks and said the tanks were full and ready to go. I should have double checked and when I did they were empty. A $500.00 deposit was paid for said services and nothing was returned. I had asked for a detailed list of there check out and never received one after repeated requests. I asked there Tech who checked it out and he said the unit was good and he would use with no worries. John's repeated lies, forgetfulness, misleading have lead me to NEVER NEVER do business with this company again. If they did not want to sell and contacted me right away I would be fine. However John's lies, misleading, lies, and lack of communication I would/could never recommend this company to anyone.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Campers Choice…read more We dropped our trailer off on June 5 with a clear list of requested work: seal the roof, repair or replace the skylight, caulk the windows, and service the A/C (or replace it if necessary). On the way to the shop, we also had a tire blowout that caused additional damages and insurance getting involved. After having our trailer for nearly three weeks, we received a call saying it was ready. We were told the tires had been replaced, the wheel bearings repacked, the inspection completed, and the skylight repaired. However, before we picked it up, we received another call admitting the skylight had not actually been repaired. When we arrived, we also discovered the A/C had not been serviced and the window caulking had not been done either. My biggest frustration isn't just that the requested work wasn't completed--it's the lack of communication and being told repairs were finished when they were not. After waiting three weeks I expected honest communication and for the work we requested to be completed or, at the very least, to be informed if it couldn't be. We had to call many times for updates and to ensure our trailer would be usable by the 4th of July weekend. After picking up the trailer on June 26th we had requested a manager to call us and were told he would call on the 27th. Today is July 1st and still no call to date. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling frustrated, disappointed, and unable to trust the information I was given. I hope Campers Choice improves its communication and follow-through so other customers don't have a similar experience.

I had a frustrating experience with Ernie's RV & Trailer Repair…read more I brought in my Class C RV because I wanted a proper inspection, specifically to have the brake pads checked. Another shop had already told me they couldn't lift the RV, which is exactly why I sought out a place that could handle a full inspection. When I scheduled the appointment, I clearly explained this situation and my expectations. The day after I dropped off the rig, I received a call saying the RV was ready and that nothing was wrong. I was charged about $280. When I arrived to pick it up, I asked for an inspection report or details on what was checked, and it became clear there was confusion. After asking directly what work had been done, I was told they had only performed an oil change. This was extremely frustrating because that was not what I brought the RV in for. I had been very clear that I needed a full inspection due to the previous shop not being able to lift it. They did offer for me to bring the RV back at another time, but when I asked about the cost for the inspection, I was quoted over $450 on top of the $280 I had already paid. This pricing was never discussed when I scheduled the appointment. Overall, my concerns are: -Lack of communication about pricing upfront. They need more transparency on their pricing and other reviews suggest the same -Not paying proper attention to the customer's request -Failing to perform the service that was requested There was no effort to offer a discount or solution to make up for the inconvenience. I wanted to give them a chance despite some pricing concerns posted on prior Yelp reviews, but unfortunately, my experience confirmed those issues. To be fair, the staff were friendly and professional. They are nice folks but, they need to work on some issues. In the future, I will be driving a few extra miles to get better and more competitive service.

Only after I brought my trailer in, they said it would be $861. Way more than I expected for about 2.5 hours of labor and $120 in parts but I had already towed my trailer there so I said ok. They said the trailer brake is fine but they did not measure and would not tell me how much brake I had left. The trailer hitch adjustment cost $159 just to loosen and tighten two bolts with an impact wrench while the hitch was still attached to my vehicle. I watched and they never once used a torque wrench or a vice. My chassis was the vice. Uhaul or any shade tree mechanic would have done better service for a fraction of the cost. They quoted me $7700 to fix the caulk and trim. Hard pass after seeing their quality of work and what they charge for basic services.
