I'm glad that Susan L wrote that review about the front desk not being professional. My last visit…read morethere, I had experienced the same thing, but now they're paying attention to the patients instead of laughing and chatting high-pitched at that front desk. Today I was treated very well and professionally by the woman at the right side of the desk. They previously were my only complaint about the office, and now I can focus on how fabulous Dr. Ruth Sorotzkin is! She reads the notes carefully from all the previous visits I've had, offers suggestions for preventative care, listens well to my input and quickly follows up with an Rx or an Imaging Request. She's fun, she's funny, and she's clever on top of being a thorough primary care doctor. I'm proud to have her as my PCP.

What a group of do nothing entitled to their jobs catty women. Sarah away from Sylvia Florentina…read moreand Heather. Had my first exam in over a decade. Had been with the office for over six years no problem. i added Sylvia if I could correct my number so I could get the appt reminders. She said she did not have that job and had nothing to do with imputing then correct number. On the day of the appt after handing back the completed form she the yells at me for not putting it into her hand. She takes Florntinz off to the side thinking I would by hear her and says she won't help me. After attempting to reach the manager to tell her my frustration with the bad service, Florentina says the manager doesn't talk to patients there was no offer to leave a name and number just a bunch of excuses why Heather wasn't the person to talk to. When I did talk to Heather shedding address anything and without being direct they threw me out. Abusive office

Five stars isn't enough for Dr. Freese and her team…read more I first met Dr. Freese when I was uninsured and looking for answers. At the time, I was experiencing symptoms that many others had attributed to anxiety, migraines, stress, or random bad luck. Dr. Freese and the other volunteer physicians listened, took my concerns seriously, and looked at the bigger picture instead of dismissing what I was experiencing. Eventually, I was diagnosed with a stroke in my right cerebellum, along with atypical seizures and ongoing neurological issues. Living with the aftermath has been challenging, but Dr. Freese has always approached my care with compassion, patience, and a genuine curiosity to find the underlying cause rather than simply treating symptoms. More recently, she has continued to help me navigate the lasting effects of my stroke, including muscle fasciculations, seizures, and chronic back pain. Even when things become stressful or confusing, she continues to advocate for me and help find solutions. What stands out most isn't just her medical knowledge. It's that she listens. She treats you like a person instead of a problem to solve, and for someone living with chronic medical conditions, that means more than I can adequately put into words. I know that whether I send a message, make an appointment, or need help during a difficult situation, Dr. Freese and her team will treat me with kindness, professionalism, and compassion. I'm incredibly grateful to have her as my physician.

Urgent Care Review Only…read more How I spent today. Sunday. Allegedly "Funday". Fun? Not so much, seriously, not so much. Three days ago my hubby complained of fatigue, left sore throat pain, left ear pain. Against my admonishment, he continued to go about his business pure pluck until it wasn't. Immediately rapid Covid tested both of us. Negative two days in a row. Hey, he breathes where I breathe. Sunday, allegedly "Funday" would it be mimosas or urgent care? The latter. He kept telling me he went to UCLA urgent care. I Yelped it. Uh huh, nothing there. Finally, he found a business card in his Rolodex for here. (Yeah, who has one of those? He does.) Since we're both in the St. Johns' Providence system, I recommended we go to urgent care here today (no forms to fill out, etc.) since at the beginning of the pandemic lock down with zero home testing available, he was sick. He went here. Was it a cold or was it Covid then? Cold. Praise be! "Call them from that Rolodex card!", I yelled to determine if care is available on Sunday. It is. M-F: 8:30AM - 7:30PM Saturday & Sunday: 10:00AM - 2:30PM (Doors promptly lock at 2:20PM). Arrived at 11:30AM. Processed and seen by noon even with a few folks ahead. Vitals (A-OK), Covid, Strep test taken, negative. GREAT doctor! Professionalism with a capital "P". Sent home with OTC med Rx and to return or contact primary physician, or EMS if symptoms worsen. P.S. Photos and videos are prohibited! Couldn't even snap a pic of the flyer saying so without getting in trouble...

My daughter, who has experienced adequate care up until last year, just had an extremely puzzling,…read morenegative experience. So much so, that she has decided to leave the practice and her primary care doctor who she has been with for nearly a decade: since she left her pediatrician. She was experiencing very bad back pain, went to see her doctor, asked for imaging and it was declined. In fact, the doctor insinuated that she was being overdramatic, was shuffled out and for a person in genuine pain, treated poorly. She does have health anxiety, but it is now very much under control and she really only goes to a doctor if necessary. We took her to another orthopedic physician as soon as we could: she was diagnosed immediately because the ultra sound (in office) showed that she had a rib out of place. She has been on a round of PT, acupuncture and other helpful measures. We had to go out of network and out of pocket. WHY? Because her clearly overworked doctor ignored what she was being told by a patient. It's impossible to get appointments, no way to get a doctor on the phone or thoughtful, compassionate healthcare. Her former doctor and this practice is on overload. Go elsewhere. We are.
