Bought a custom made dresser at WF. Sandy was very helpful in the entire process. I made two trips to the area to talk to her about the purchase--first to get a feel for the brand (WF is one of the few retail stores that carries this brand, I think) and second to actually get very specific about details and order it. Because I was out of state and not moving to Wisconsin for a few months, Sandy coordinated the send-in-the-order-to-the-vendor date -- given the lead time there -- and they held the dresser, once it arrived at their store, for a few weeks until our move in day. The dresser is beautiful. The picture attached does not do justice to how pretty it is. There was one small hiccup with the order and WF got right on it to remedy, going way beyond what I expected. Right as my friend and I walked into the store we were greeted with an attitude and they Were Very suspicious of us. we were looking for a couch and they decided to follow us. They still kept asking if we needed help when we told them what we were doing and they were very rude while talking to us. This is the third time I've gone into this store and each time I've said, "NEVER AGAIN!" Well three strikes you're OUT, and I'm done! They are rude and condescending; furniture is over priced by 30%+; and the furniture, decor, jewelry, misc are so crammed in you can really see anything!!! WF has been THE place to buy furniture for many in our extended family--for years. The quality of furniture is good. Prices are fair. Do not expect cheap--with better quality furniture comes higher than garage sale prices. My purchase of a Flexsteel chair required significant salesperson assistance--which was cheerfully (and patiently) provided. All parts of the ordering, manufacturing, and delivery were well communicated. I will gladly shop Waunakee Furniture again. read more

I walked into the store and wasn't greeted by anybody, we walked around a bit was looking for a recliner. Again no one came up to us and asked us if we needed help. The store has a strong perfume smell as soon as you walk in the door it's in your face. If you are sensitive to perfumes like I am don't go in the store. read more

We furnished our new home through these awesome people and it couldn't have went smoother. I brought our building plan in, flooring, colors, etc and Sandy helped pick everything out! I'm so thankful for her!! I love everything! They ordered all of the furniture with perfect timing and the delivery was super smooth. The guys we're detailed and very careful with everything! We're so happy and can't say enough good things about Sandy, Tim and their team! They were amazing to work with! We'll be back and we'll be sure to send anyone looking for furniture to you! Purchased FlexSteel leather family room furniture from Waunakee Furniture. Not pleased with the quality of the furniture or the service from the store. In fact, owner said it would cost me $35.00 to come to our home in Sun Prairie to check out the problems we are concerned about. Really? I guess trying to support a locally owned store was a bad idea. Will have to replace this furniture much sooner than we should have to, but I know where I won't be buying it. My husband and I stopped in to Waunakee Furniture just to look around, not planning to make a purchase. We were not desperate to buy a couch, but our couch had seen better days. Heidi was so helpful that we felt comfortable investing in a new sofa. The fabric choices are almost overwhelming but I chose a fabric from one of the less expensive tiers. Ordered a beautiful couch from Waunakee Furniture (WF), $4,999 + Delivery. Because we were told it would be delivered in 6-8wks, I began following up around this time. When I called, it was like the lady nor man hadn't a clue what they were searching for, professionals. 2 additional weekends pasted with no update from WF, again I followed up and received the same BS runaround acting like they were doing me a favor. Long story short, it was 12 week until we received our first call from WF from the day we placed the deposit. Since we needed to schedule the delivery when it was convenient for the two delivery boys "the owners," we waited one additional week. Mid spring day, morning of rain. Please men, walk through the wet fresh cut grass and allow those clippings to stick to your uncovered boots while walking back and forth across the white carpet. This is what topped it off. Well, the unbelievably poor attitude while unloading too. This was my first and last experience with these guys! Especially without a courtesy call to see how it's holding up. read more

My first purchase at Waunakee Furniture was a sofa 9 years ago and 2 leather chairs w/ottoman. The designer, Denise Renz came out and helped with matching up colors, which I always get compliments on. All of the pieces I purchased still look like brand new. Very good quality. The ottoman did have a button pop out years later. I took it in the store and they had it fixed no charge. Most recently I have purchased bedroom furniture and an end table. I am pleased with everything and will definitely shop Waunakee Furniture in the future. Thank you! read more

My parents ordered a couch on April 10 prior to their move to Waunakee. They were told the couch would arrive by the end of May, a week after they moved. Since they were moving from another city, they donated their old couch thinking they would only be without for a few days. A few days before the expected date, they hadn't heard anything from Waunakee Furniture so they called. At that point they were told the fabric they picked wasn't available. Since they placed the order over the phone, they never received a paper copy stating there could be a delay and they were never told fabric might not be available. As of June 17, they still don't have their couch. They have been treated horribly every time they call to inquire and are constantly told it will be coming "next week". They have also not been offered any kind of compensation for their time. I would not recommend shopping here at all! The customer service is horrible! To not verbally communicate a delay or call to inform your customer is very disrespectful. read more
