In our business, customer satisfaction is number one and we strive to make sure our customers are completely happy. I was not happy as a customer, therefore I reacted strongly. I now have to spend more money to purchase shirts with the correct design size, so I was upset. Very, VERY late post: I apologize for the late post but life got chaotically hectic so now I have some time to finally write this long overdue review. Background: We had ordered our football team shirts through a mutual friend of ours who had done previous shirts for us. However, this time due to an emergency the order fell through and we had only a few days (LITERALLY like 2 days) to get these shirts for the kids as it was our gift to them for making it to the championship. Desperately searching, Wave Custom Teez responded and accepted! Pros: 1. The shirts are of good quality. We wanted just plain black cotton shirts and they had it in all the sizes we needed 2. They were able to print out the design we wanted on the shirts easily and without any modifications to them 3. They were sooooo accommodating especially with our last minute request. The logo design/name on the back of our shirts were slightly big and a little further down than we would have liked but considering the extremely last minute order, this is no fault of the company's as I'm sure if I had more time they would have easily accommodated my request. Also the shirts are pretty pricey and the price stays the same no matter what size you're getting (cost of an xs = cost of a 3xl) but again as it was super last minute, I expected the cost to be double, even triple what I originally paid for through my vendor. A couple of years ago, I gave them 2 pictures of our dogs...a "front" and "backside" view of them standing on their hind legs. They printed the pictures...gave them instructions to iron-press the "front view" on the front of the t-shirt and the "backside view" on the back of the t-shirt. We were actually looking for something for each other(we were going to get jewelry, rings bc we BOTH lost our wedding rings) whatever it was we wanted to buy something for us. And it was so funny that we walked out of Ross, looked in the Window of WAVE, and the first thing I saw was " Best Buds"- 1/2 leaves on each shirt. We've been in contact with Wave for two days trying to get a rush order done for my sisters funeral services next week. Having it be such a short notice I was told that Waves would be my best bet. The first day of contact went well, I was told by an employee (super nice/super tall) that they would be able to do the design that I had given them with no problem. PERFECT! All we needed now was the shirt sizes and to make payment. We decided to leave the store and go home because I needed to make phone calls to gather the sizing since most people were coming from out of state. The next day we were in contact with will all day. We made arrangements with him and let him know that we ended up getting our own shirts in bulk so we would just need printing done. We had 34 shirts ranging in sizes and our total for printing by the time we needed them done would be $622.58 which we said okay. Everything was set until we got in store with all our shirts ready to go. This is when our problems began. Walking into the store one of the employees already had an attitude with us for no reason, both employees had no knowledge of what was discussed with their boss all morning, both employees looked blown away when they were told what was discussed and the shirts needed to be done by next week Tuesday then replied with "WOOOOOW! OKAY". When moving forward to the design said employee with the attitude started altering the design that I had given them without explaining what exactly she was doing or WHY she was doing it (photos from videos below) until AFTER she was done. She removed an important part of the design which was the prayer we had in the background (design below). When I explained to her if we could somehow keep the prayer because it's needed/wanted she flat out said no and left it at that. Basically we had to make a decision if we wanted to keep it how she made it for "printing" reasons. After all was said and done they got ahold of their boss and asked us if we could wait for 20 minutes in the mall for him to get in store. We agreed and waited. He didn't get there until well over 20 minutes but it was too late and we left. He did call us to see if we were still in the mall and "tried" to work with us but I told him we were on a tight deadline and couldn't wait so we decided NOT to have them print our shirts. The printing costs a lot of money and I didn't appreciate the way things were handled and how my design was altered with no sympathy. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the owner/boss reached out to us once he came in store. Never again. I'm glad I found somewhere more professional and they didn't need to alternate our design! Crazy how a little more money can go a long way. read more

The store mainly stocks blank shirts you can customize; I was told it was like a tattoo for your shirt. Tattooed shirts, how cool, and why not? Everything and their grandmother is tattooed now. I never told anyone this secret, but I have zero tattoos. I wanted one so badly back in the 90's but due to my ever-changing mind and commitment issues, didn't get one. If I had gotten one, it would have to do with spooky trees, bats and perhaps a haunted house. This rating will be based off customer service & the design process of my little brother's senior night basketball shirts. [We did not order yet/ recieved the shirts, I will update once we out in an order and recieved shirts] We were scrambling to find someone who could give us a great quote and process shirts by February 4th. I inquired with colleagues on prople they have used in the past and everyone was booked solid or were so DESPERATE to provide service but with additional charges. I stumbled on Wave Custom Teez and noticed that replies were 3 mins. Without hesitation I sent a message. Within minutes I got a response as to what I was looking for. Of course I read the reviews LET ME TELL YOU THEY DONT LIE. I was supper pleased with the professionalism and prompt response. It was hard to converse through emails on what we wanted, so we were told to drop by the store and associate will help us. We walked into the store and was helped by Lex who was so patient with us in coming up with a simple design and making this stressful process that much easier. She was able to estimate cost for us, but told us that we should contact the owner if we had further questions. Once we were done designing which took like 5 minutes and ask her for the estimate, We were VERY pleased with the price thinking it will cost much more. We told her we be in touch as we got to get sizes and get the approval of the little brother to see if he likes it. Fast forward... Long story short we were told that our shirts would be ready by 12:00 PM Friday. The time came and my parents went in to grab our shirts under the impression that they would be done and instead ended up waiting 4 hours for our shirts. It's even more upsetting because they wouldn't have went in to grab it if they would've known it wouldn't be ready and we live in town so they had to wait in pearl ridge for 4+ hours for something that should've been done. The least they could've done is let us know that it wasn't ready yet instead of making my parents go in and wait. Supposedly it was one of the employees fault and that the guy always falls behind on orders: if that's the case then he's ruining business for plenty of customers. Not a good sign of this is a pattern of his. Lastly, we had an event and ended up being late BECAUSE of this. UPDATE: they forgot to give us one shirt so we had to go back to get it. They did a horrible job on the shirts! Placement of the lettering are completely different on each of the shirts. Forgot to cut out some of the lettering out. On one of the shirts the picture is folded. They put a piece of tape over one of the pictures. 4 out of 7 of the shirts we ordered are messed up. I always saw Wave Custom Teez when they had their small kiosk, then their storefront, and now at their bigger location at Pearlridge near Ross. I was asked to do a vendor event last minute, and was trying to find someone to print out shirts with my business logo on it. I first reached out to small local businesses, but none of them were available to do them on such short notice. I hopped onto Yelp and started searching frantically for a business to do my shirts. So shot them an email and got a reply in a few hours, exchanged emails back and forth along with my logo and quickly got a quote for 2 shirts. My boyfriend and I were in need of new company shirts as we were attending a convention last year. We chose this company due to the convenience of location, affordability, and didn't have a minimum limit on the order. We only needed a few shirts. When you enter the store, you see a wall of examples of their work and past projects. The process to order the shirts were fairly simple and if you provide them shirts, it reduces the cost. We also provided our own design and vectored it to make the process easier. If you don't have a design ready or one in mind, the employees will help you create one on their computers at the store. Unfortunately, our design from the first order didn't hold up after the first wash. The vinyl was falling apart. Luckily this company provides a warranty and redid our shirts at no cost. Pictures attached were the finish results from the employees. It was unacceptable to our standards for only 2 shirts that took a month to redo. It wasn't a clean finish the second time around. After speaking to the owner, Will, he was more than willing to redo our order himself and got it done in a timely manner and compensated with a few additional shirts for free. If you decide to go with them or any business that does custom shirts, I suggest to not have a very intricate design so the vinyl easily transfers to the shirt. Also, maybe do not provide them your own shirts to ensure that they won't lose it in their inventory as it happened to us the first time. read more
