My 17 year old daughter's only comment (who recently got her hair cut from another local stylist in Livermore, got a beautiful cut and style) is that it's just bad and walked away. I have had plenty of horrible experiences and haircuts before so it's safe to assume I was anxious about trying this new salon. Once again, lesson learned, go to your trusted salon and stylist. DO NOT RELY ON RATINGS ALONE. I've already made an appointment with my trusted hair stylist in Fremont to fix my hair. I'm willing to drive further out to see her after this sad experience! In response to Varina's review: You had a different experience than I did and it's great that you love your results. But, you had a different hairstylist. And as the owner of the salon, I expected Briana to deliver and she fell short of that. I couldn't wear my hair straight because the cut was uneven; I had no choice but to curl it to hide the imperfections. You cannot deny that my hair looks nothing like the pictures I showed Briana. Would I be willing to risk sitting there again to have her "fix" it when she couldn't deliver the haircut I wanted in the first place? So, while I appreciate your feedback, the pictures speak for themselves. I did call the salon and also left a voicemail on Brianna's cell phone explaining my issue and disappointment, so she was aware of it before I wrote this review.

The manager luckily refunded my money because it was almost $200 for the balayage I wanted done! I wanted a balayage and showed the stylist the picture of the girls curly back hair And told her I wanted it like that picture. I also wanted to keep the roots dark. As you can see from the pictures it's nowhere near what I wanted and the stylist afterwards didn't even ask if I wanted it toned! The salon closed again cause of COVID so I had to redo it myself afterwards cause I was so embarrass of what it looked like. I didn't notice until I got home and closely looked in the mirror.

Stephanie G. at Watson and Bailey is the greatest. I have been going to her for several years now and her recent move here is even better, as this salon is very accessible to me. This salon is really so inviting. Her knowledge of color and color techniques is very extensive. I have dual processed hair (color/highlights) and have never been disappointed. I also appreciate that she is very honest about what will and won't work for my hair, as I sometimes come up with an idea for a cut or style but that won't work on my hair and she always gives my an honest opinion. While in the salon, I have also seen the results of clients for whom she had done extensions and was very impressed. I am never disappointed with Stephanie's work! read more
