Michelle immediately put me at ease - she asked detailed, comprehensive questions about my current routine and hair goals, and took her time examining my natural hair to give accurate, reasonable input about cut methodology, length, and process for the best result that could be had today, and how to maintain hair health moving forward. Every step of the process was explained in an accessible way, and also, the scalp detox/head massage was absolutely wonderful. So refreshing! You really get a complete, educational picture of the entire process without judgment and a luxury experience with premium clean beauty products. She showed me how to diffuse properly, detailed product amounts and application methods, went step by step and showed me with a handheld mirror so I could replicate the methodology on my own. The results are absolutely fabulous. I've never seen my hair have such uniform curl throughout. Michelle is generous with her time, her knowledge, and clearly tailors each experience to the individual needs of every client. I am absolutely blown away and beyond thrilled with the entire experience, and so, so happy with my hair, and feel like I've walked away with new knowledge that can be reasonably applied in my daily routine, which is honestly priceless for the curly girls who know what a challenge it can be sometimes. I've seen numerous people for my hair needs in my lifetime and Michelle is the only person I trust with my hair. I've been seeing her for almost 7 years now and I don't even think about trying a new salon. Michelle listens to your wants and needs. Having been a client of Michelle's for nearly 6 years, I can vouch for her as a hair stylist. Naturally curly hair can be a gift and a hassle. More often than not, mine was a hassle because I had to wrestle with it to end up with a style I was never really happy with. The short version: I can't say enough praise about Michelle's talents and she is the only person i trust with my hair. Give this place a try! The longer one: I've been coming to Michelle religiously for years! She's the hair stylist who helped me recover from that bad haircut.
