Went in for our ultra sound, happy times right? I had a baby in 2020 so I get the Covid craziness and restrictions that they placed on us back then. CA still has a dumb mask requirement for medical facilities. What about people with a genuine medical condition? Well don't even try. I basically was reprimanded by the lead receptionist and humiliated. I refused, I cannot breathe, get anxiety and most likely will loose oxygen while wearing one now. She told me I couldn't go forward with the exam and I needed to leave. Their policy is mask or nothing. I said you will have to tell my midwife why you are refusing my ultra sound. She walked away and called me to the back. Isolated me in a hallway and made me wear a face shield. I observed two nurses with masks pulled down below the chin. What about them? Do they have to be isolated or leave? No they are fine. But PAYING customers are treated like they have leprosy if they aren't wearing a mask, aren't sick, etc. Tech was nice, but silent. No talking whatsoever but had music playing from her phone. Took some profile images but also some weird ones and then compared our baby to something spooky because it will be Halloween soon (skull image). Unprofessional, discrimination against a pregnant person and horrible experience. Told the head nurse she was discriminating and she said no I'm not. And I said read your policy on the website, it says you don't discriminate against anyone regardless of who they are or what they believe, look like, or medical condition. Def. Do not recommend. Previously with baby #3 in 2020, at a different Irvine imaging place we went to the ultra sound room with masks, tech told us no need, pull the masks down. He was friendly, asked about our other kids and joked that he would see us in 2022. How I wish that was the case. Lastly my insurance barely covered this so that also was bs. Never again. read more

There are no accommodations for caregivers in Suite 101. The woman at reception was abrupt. My husband is 86, hard of hearing and has serious health issues. I was told I couldn't wait with him & only that he'd be done in 2 1/2 hours. There were only 2 people in the waiting area, masked & socially distanced. Where is compassion? Why no waiting area for non-patients who have caregivers? Only a few benches outside...and it's 90 degrees. When I made the appt. I told them I was his caregiver. As a caregiver to a few family members I've visited a lot of imaging facilities around Los Angeles and Orange County. Orange Advanced Imaging Center is one of the nicest by far. ATTRIBUTES: - Freeway close, easy to find. - Lots of free parking, multi-level parking lot. - Clean facilities from restrooms to changing areas to exam rooms. - Organized. Paperwork well-thoughtout and easy for patients to complete. Many areas are pre-highlighted relieving the receptionist from detailing every item to be completed. - Mammography area uses pagers to call patients to exam rooms. Very efficient. - Mammography area also provides free water, coffee, tea and biscuits for visitors. - Staff, perfunctory. Not overly friendly, which can be preferable to a patient who is facing testing that could yield serious results. RESTRICTIONS: - No cellphone use in reception area or exam rooms. Few magazines available. Do take something to read in case they're running late. read more

I got there and the receptionist was soooooooo slow. A line was forming and when I was next she had me standing there like a fool. I waited as she was doing some paperwork for other patients, but come on your not a sloth. I just came for some X-rays because another wave imaging said I had to schedule an appointment when they are supposedly walk-in. Not the first time they have messed up. They sent the results to a wrong number one time and it delayed my surgery scheduling. Do better. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. My teenage daughter had an MRI done here and had a horrible experience. She was in tears (sobbing tears) during most of the experience. Lowlight of her experience (just one of the many poorly handled things that happened): She is naked except for a flimsy hospital gown alone in a room. A male technician comes in to inject contrast into her hip, which is mere inches away from her groin. My daughter asks for her father to be present for this. The technician tells her "that wouldn't be convenient" and proceeds to very poorly and roughly inject the contrast dye. I've called to complain about the entire visit. I've never been able to speak with the manager and have been told that she would call me. No call has been received. I've also had fun calling to get the images and report to take to the doctor. One person was extremely rude to me. When I called back a few days later the person I spoke with was actually pretty nice and helpful. That was surprising to me! Don't go here! If your insurance referred you to them for imaging, ask for a referral to a different imaging center. read more

It's horrible service. We received the reminder to check-in at 6am for appointment at 7am. Its multiple reminders. We came in but the door was close. We were waiting in the car for a while thinking of rescheduling. Then We saw a lady coming in like 6:20, guessing she is the receptionist. The technician was great, the office clean, parking was great, fast process. Why two-stars? The front desk receptionist. Her attitudes borders on narcissistic and delusional. She asked me to fill out forms that I complied with, but her demeanor and appearance were mediocre at most. I did not catch her name, but you will know if you go there. Little advice, you are the face of the business, please don't act like a cocky imbecile and be helpful and resourceful. For management, please train your receptionist. What good does it make to have excellent service when your ignorant and "too good for everything" receptionist being the business down. read more

absolutely do not go here. i booked an appt for 4:55 (their website allowed it! that is the only way to book an x-ray) & i walked in at 5 because i was figuring out what building i needed to go into. there is quite 101 and 205, so i was 4 minutes late because there was 0 indication on which building i should have gone into. the rude girl at the front desk said your appointment was at 4:55 it's 5 that's when our technician leaves. so i was able to book an appointment for a 5 minute x-ray????? this place should reimburse me for the gas and time i wasted coming here. how about respect peoples time?? i confirmed my appointment and everything TODAY! the day of my appointment. this place is nasty and unprofessional i'll be asking my doctor for a new place to get an x-ray. read more

Today I went for my mammogram at 9am. The mammogram tech was really nice and quick. Place was clean and ready. When I was leaving all the crew was in the middle hallway talking loudly drinking their coffee. Which I couldn't go thru that exit. Today, tried to make appointment and was on hold 15 minutes. The call connected to someone and they hung up. Called again and now on hold 20 minutes to make appointment. This is way too long of a wait time. I am hanging up and calling Hoag Imaging where they will answer the phone with a very short wait time if any. Also, last year when I went to WaveImaging it was a long wait even though I had an appointment. Done with this place. read more

Had to come here to get a PET scan. Place is right across from CHOC Hospital in the City Of Orange. So got me in pretty quickly, everything that was going to happen was explained to me, place was fairly clean. The two things I liked about this location: Plentiful parking with a lot and a structure right in the back of the building. When I went to leave (after having fasted all night, then having spent 2 hrs getting my PET Scan done) they gave me a little brown bag filled with water, goldfish snacks, and a trailmix granola bar! What a great idea, saved me from crashing my car on the ride back home because I was so hypoglycemic. read more

I had an appointment for noon today. I arrived twenty minutes early and parked in the structure at the rear. After waiting in line, ( two people ahead of me) I was greeted with a smile and asked how I may be helped. I informed them I was there for my ultrasound and was asked to fill out some paperwork which was done rather quickly. I'm not sure how long I was waiting but it didn't seem that long. The tech that assisted me was friendly but all business. After doing the transvag, I was able to see our baby. I was bummed that she wasn't able to accurately determine how far along I was seeing as how this was my first ultrasound of this pregnancy. She printed out one image for me. Another bummer as I was used to getting multiple print outs from our previous pregnancy. Other than that. It was a pleasant experience. I was in at 1145 and was out before 1245. read more

From the moment I walked in I felt I was in good hands. I received a warm welcome from the receptionist, fast and efficient assistance with the necessary paperwork, wait time was minimal, and the radiologist took extra precautions for my safety. I've had many x-rays and never before has any radiologist offered to place a thyroid protection pad along with the standard hip area protection pad. My appointment was at 10:15 we arrived at 10:15, they did ask us to arrive at 10:05. I notified them we were running late. When we arrived there were only 2 other people waiting. After we checked in 5 more people arrived. The Hispanic lady with short curly hair checked us in, she must have placed our chart after the 5 people that arrived after us. Professional and efficient image service. TODAY I an x-ray and was able to be in and out and results to my Dr fast. Been coming here for MRI and x-ray services for over 5 years and staff has always been kind and responsive to my insurance questions or test results. Highly recommend. read more

Appt 8:20, left house 7:30, sat an hour listening to a patient next to me disgruntled on the wait. Expressed this is the longest I have ever waited. She replied her appt was at 9. They call her in before me. 10am I take up my pager and said "I refuse to sit here any longer for my appt when a disgruntled patiened sitting next to me was called in 40 minutes before me. I have been here since 8" . And it ook over a month to get the appt here. Made an appt with Placentia Linda, got in within 3 days wait was no longer than 20 minutes. My family has gone to this facility a number of times and we have never had a problem. Everyone has been very professional and courteous; we have paid our co-pay and been billed for any remainder not covered by our insurance. Today I called to schedule a MRI for my daughter and was told I had to pay the full deductible of $300 plus our 20% at the time of the appointment. They said they had checked with our insurance and verified this information; this information was inaccurate. We had already met some of the deductible. We were told to call the insurance company with their tax i.d. number and the procedure code to get a reference number. My insurance company said that they do not do this; they need to bill them because claims are being processed and the information given may not be accurate. I called Orange Imaging back with the information from my insurance company and they still insisted on payment up front; they would not bill my insurance first and then bill me for the remainder. They are supposed to be contacting my insurance and calling me back. I have not received a call back as of yet and will update review with more information if/or when received. Why have insurance if they are not going to be billed until after the fact? The company gets to sit on your money and then owe you a refund at their leisure. Update 8/24/18 The representative that I spoke with has not called me back at the phone number she verified with me. I called to cancel the appointment since I had not heard back from anyone. When I spoke with a representative, the appointment had already been canceled but I was not informed. They also show that I still have to pay a $300 deductible at the time of appointment. My doctor ordered an ultrasound for a finger to assess a potential injury. Further treatment depended on the result of the ultrasound. Dr. referred me to Wave because I live in Orange. My experience with Wave has been poor. The schedulers in my interactions were indifferent and uninformed. I was first sent to the wrong location - after taking time off work and traveling, I was told, "we don't do that service here; you should not have been scheduled here." Weeks later, my second appointment was summarily canceled day-of with a text message, "we only perform that service on Tuesdays." It's been weeks and I still have no scan, but I do have lots of wasted time and effort. This seems like a high-volume, low-quality outfit. At this point I'm going travel down to Hoag Imaging to get the work done, which I probably should have done in the first place. Perhaps this review will save other folks some time. read more

Would rather live with pain than use Beverly Radiology Medical Group or any of there other locations again. Billing department is so incompetent I am surprised they can find there way to work everyday. I have had multiple calls with them, including a call with my insurance on the line to explain to them what my total amount owed should be, $200. I continue to receive bills and phone calls for the balance owed, but now it is includes an additional $200 for the co-pay that they lost that was paid at time of service. Called to find out if my insurance was accepted, and the receptionist was friendly and courteous, confirming that it was. The building signage is a bit confusing - and the directions could be better. Walked in, and the lobby was spacious and clean. The receptionist helped us promptly. All of the staff and technicians were professional, and friendly. Been here twice for MRIs. Admitted very quickly. Long days 6:30am to 11pm, offers great scheduling flexibility. Nice, pleasant staff.

I went in to get an X-ray done, and I was told it would take around 1 hour, and they only do walk ins for X-rays. I went in around 2:30pm and was out by 3pm! I was prepared to wait, I had will & Grace on my phone, so the hour would go by quickly. If you're going in for an x-ray, I would just take some headphones or turn on captions, and watch your favorite show, time will fly by! As far as service goes, the ladies in the front seemed nice, and the technician was very sweet! She made me feel comfortable during the process, even though it was probably a total of less than 10 min. read more

I had a terrible experience with this facility. I was scheduled for two MRIs, one with and one without contrast. Two techs were unable to locate a vein to give me the contrast. My skin was repeatedly stabbed with a needle for almost 10 minutes before they gave up. Then they attempted to charge my insurance for two MRIs. To make matters worse, I owed a co-payment but was never informed. No letters, no notice....until they sent me to collections that is! Luckily I caught it before it ruined my credit. What a nightmare this experience was. This is no place for sick people and there are several options in the Orange area. STEER CLEAR!!!! read more

Worst adminstrative experience service ever. Spoke to five different reps each time one gave me different information. Nobody speaks to each other nobody makes notes on the charts. Day before at 4pm before a 7 a.m. appointment, I was informed that my father needed lab work and also that they didn't receive the authorization from the insurance even though I had spoken to two other reps the week before who had confirmed the type of CT scan my father needed. Also the CT scan request order changed but it doesn't matter because he can't attend his appointment because he was never informed of any lab work required and there was no pre-screening the first four times that I spoke to this place. read more

I went to this place with my little girl who was sick and needed a chest xray. I was told that there was an 1.5 hour wait. Then the receptionist let a few of the people that work in the building just jump ahead of us in the line, TERRIBLE. That 1.5 hour wait turned into 2.5 hours and I just left. I wont go back here again. Hire some additional staff--- You are not giving us a discount for having to wait --- so use that money and hire some additional people so that people dont have to wait 1 hour or more just to get a xray (smh).... read more

January 2019, after the poor customer service, comes the improper medical billing, if you pay cash, save your receipt because they will enter lower amounts and then they will bill you. Poor management, not in office to handle situations. The morning staff are rude, lazy and disorganized. I was there one late afternoon for an X-ray the day before and the afternoon staff was kind and attentive. No issues with my insurance. This morning they wanted to charge me the full amount for my copay, over $120 was over billed! I advised my deductible has been met. I had to call the insurance myself because both Hispanic ladies both over 50 years old, did not read the notes in the system, insurance was verified Yesterday, the young lady handling the front desk had the right attitude and did the leg work for them, she even went as far as placing a reference number on the chart. Both morning front desk need attitude adjustments and customer service training. I will not recommend this place. read more
