They always have fun new feature drinks. I enjoy going to this location. Lots of tables and a patio in the summer.

I came to Wave Coffee House near the hotel around 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.

I came to Wave Coffee, about 2 minutes' walk from the hotel, around 9 o'clock this morning on Sat. There were a few customers in the store, but it wasn't crowded at all. I, who had no appetite, looked into the bake case to see what to eat for breakfast. I don't usually eat muffins, but I caught my eye with cranberries, bitter orange muffins, lemons, and zucchini muffins. Then, I ordered both and ordered the store's signature Nanaimo. I decided to try Wave au lait for drinks. I didn't add the tip because it was to go when I paid. Maybe that's why the women on the staff didn't smile at me and told me to come get the drink. I feel that tipping is becoming commonplace but requires a smile and gratitude. I took it back to the hotel and had cranberry orange muffin and Wave au lait, and it tasted good. I couldn't eat anything else, but I'm sure good taste!

Unfortunately I have to give yet another disappointing review. I really wish I didn't have too, but it seems a lot of places I go to don't seem to get my order correctly. Maybe it's for their inability to pay attention or they just don't care. First time coming to this Waves location. I ordered a jasmine green tea with extra milk to cool it a bit. When I got the tea it was warm and didn't taste at all of green tea and more like a cup of luke warm milk. The lady never allowed the tea bag to properly steep before putting an extreme amount of milk. If you are unsure about something always communicated with the customer and don't just assume. I won't be coming back to this location.

Cute and convenient coffee shop with strong coffee! This would be a really great place to study or catch up with friends. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms if you're looking for a caffeine boost and treat.

Aloha People; my first time trying out this local coffee house and wow. Great little place with amazing service , great coffee and treats along with breakfast sandwiches and more. Love the decor of the place and super clean. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did.

Receipt for 11 cents for barista messing up my order.

I ordered my drink three times and they still gave me a hot drink instead of a frappe. The board that the customer sees doesn't detail what type of drink you're paying for so I was questioning the accuracy. They actually made me run my card for 11 cents after they messed up the order. I couldn't understand the barista and she apparently couldn't understand me. Horrible experience.

This Wave locates in a very nice location near downtown in Yaletown. Its on the first floor of TV Tower building. Lots of residence come have get their coffee here. Their coffee is the same as any other wave. I like the fact they have 3 kinds of sugar. Sugarcane sugar or regular sugar. For honey you will have to ask. They have a a good number of seats inside. They used to have a free drip coffee deal in mobile bandit but that is gone. Guess this location got too busy. No need for advertisement or promo like that.

Easy to find and great service. You do have to remember to ask for the code to the bathroom, but as long as it isn't a busy time that isn't an issue. Recommend for a quick stop or an extended stay.

I would rate the service a 8/10, the baristas were super sweet and quick! However, I ordered an ICED tea. Not iced water with a tea bag in it. They didn't even boil/steep tea before adding it into the ice. I gave this place 2 chances-- and they did the SAME thing for my second order !!!!

Since downtown Vancouver is a busy city but has a fairly good public transit system, we took the sky train to this popular coffee shop. After I asked a question to the friendly staff, I ordered and received my order number. Thank goodness the suite next door offered tables and seating because it would have been quite a balancing act to enjoy a four espresso tasting without a table. The barista noticed my disappointment when he told me that they only have two espresso varieties for my four taster flight and he offered to add milk to two of them so I can taste the pure shots and mini cappuccinos. This was a thoughtful gesture! One of my daughter's ordered a latte and lemon cream bakery good. I tasted the Monogram Calgary a Colombia/Guatemala blend and Dak Amsterdam from Ethiopia. I tasted a bit of rose and mango in the Monogram like they said but the lemon meringue was absent. I got the fruit and berry hints after having the Dak Amsterdam but little white chocolate. Both blends were very STRONG and I preferred them with a little steamed milk, which softened the intensity without taking away the flavor. A very nice coffee tasting experience for just $10 CAD.

For someone like myself who prefers Cortado/Macchiato small milk espresso drinks, it was "good" but it truly looked like heaven for the pourover crowd. My Cortado was tasty but a bit "thin" for my thicker, more viscous texture preferences. Very warm/comfy vibes and a nice place to hang out and wake up in the morning. Located in Gastown and roughly a block away from the Steam Clock for what it's worth. Enjoy!

Their menu seems to rotate seasonally, so you might find limited-time or specialty flavors depending on when you visit. As for the drinks, they were just okay in my opinion. The flat white was quite strong, and while it included Earl Grey syrup, the flavor didn't come through as clearly as expected. The Pastéis de Nata was decent -- not too sweet, but a bit dense. Overall, prices are reasonable for what you get. Worth a visit if you're curious about their seasonal offerings.
