This is a pretty good Wawa with all the usual convenience store features like Freshly Brewed Coffee, Sandwiches, Salads, and Snacks but they are totally way too early pushing their Pumpkin Spice Coffee. I even took an "official" survey and not one single person said they needed to see any of that Pumpkin Spice stuff before the start of October, so yeah I'm definitely not the only one who feels this way, Lol.    Anyhow I'm still a fan of all their freshly prepared made to order food options which allow me for a quick in-and-out experience each and every time. Look, if you're buying cigs a sub chips and a pint of Ben n Jerry's for $35 at 3am on a Friday night Wawa got you covered. The sub is not even Subway good. For $8.50 I got a roast beef embarrassment. Maybe I should have studied what their better subs are. Once I got a ham and cheese and paid $3 for extra meat and that was decent, like how a deli would normally offer a well built sub. But this is gas station convenience food (always a rip) so be glad you got what you got and get home safe. read more

I give them a 4 star rating because the curbside and pick up orders are delivered quickly and I have had no issues with the orders themselves. I do however have an issue on how the sandwiches are made, so much inconsistency, they pile on a ton of onions -not necessary to put a whole onion on a Shorti! My other biggest issue has been the lack of ice in Iced beverages! Thee ice Is melted long before it should be in iced teas and coffees. They need to add additional ice to these beverages -who wants to drink a Warm anything when you order "iCeD"! The place is very clean l, and service inside is friendly and personable. This wawa is hit or miss. It honestly depends on the staff working. There is a lack of consistency in staff as well as what they officer. Tonight the staff members were really prepared and knowledgeable about what they had to offer. Tonight, I tried the new burger and fries. It was ok, especially for a gas station burner. This Wawa Is pretty small but they carry a lot of the best snacks and have a full menu of hot food and drinks! I'm giving them such a high rating because of the great customer service! I went during a time that was pretty busy and had a few questions about their new Burger and fries. The food preparer was happy to answer my questions and seemed unbothered. My food was made correctly (which is not as common at other Wawa stores I've visited). They are conveniently located off Route 46 by a huge Target. Also a few minutes away from Willowbrook Mall. Plenty of parking behind the establishment. read more

Nothing better than biting into your sandwich and realizing it's ham instead of Turkey . This is the second time they did this . I don't eat pork . I frequent the Wawas in Brick, Toms River. Lavallette, and Freehold. The Wawa in Fairfield has to be the worst at making subs and paninis. Orders are either wrong or just made without any care or effort. Someone needs to train the employees better. It's just a disappointment each time we've gone to the Fairfield location. read more

Came to this Wawa because it was close to the Target in Fairfield. Walked in and it was pretty clean. The reason why I'm giving this Wawa 2 stars is because the cashier that I had threw my change back at me. I know that we are going through a pandemic and germs are going to be around us all but to throw the money at a customer? It was uncalled for. Not to mention that there wasn't even a line. I've been a cashier for 6 years and never once threw money at a customer. The young gentleman had blonde hair and I couldn't catch his name. Not your " down the shore " wawa! This place sucks! Employees are either clueless or super rude! Asked for an egg and cheese on a bagel because it is not on the order screen. Clueless Worker asked 3 different people Including a Guy who looked like a manager . He looked annoyed and then the worker told me a few minutes. Cashier gave me a hard time trying to pay for it then the manager guy said no one ever talked to him about it, basically calling me a liar after I watched the worker talk to him. Then he told me I could order it on the screen, WRONG! He insisted that he only had an order for one with bacon. That sandwich sat there the entire time I waited because no one ordered it and this rude jerk couldn't admit he made a mistake.
