12/21/24 Afternoon Visit: A young woman behind the counter cheerfully welcomed us to Jersey Mike's. She explained to us the different sandwiches. This young woman had a personality that totally lit up a room. (Sorry, I didn't catch her name). She chatted with us as she prepared our two roast beef and provolone subs to go. This young woman worked quickly preparing the sandwiches. Anyway, we brought the subs home. They were absolutely delicious. Exactly how we requested they be prepared. Jersey Mike's is located next to Mighty Quinn's off of Rt.3 West in Clifton, New Jersey. A large parking lot is available. read more

We stopped in to grab two sandwiches to go. Unfortunately, there were too many issues for me to return. First and foremost my sandwich was made incorrectly and I don't believe it was on accident. I asked for a #16 which is a Mike's Chicken Philly sans the grilled peppers. Much to my surprise when we got home there were too many peppers to count. I was annoyed to say the least. What I don't understand about policies especially when dealing with the public is the lack knowledge about the policy. Also not alerting patrons of said policy or where to find it. The policy seemed conveniently mentioned when it came time to pay. The cashier spoke to her manager who then walked over with the nastiest attitude. I didn't appreciate his candor or how dismissive he was when we asked about the policy. He simply adjusted the total for the sandwiches and walked off. read more

Jersey Mikes makes a good sandwich. This was my first visit to this location and the experience was a good one. It's clean and the service was quick and polite. We ordered a giant stickball specIal and a regular turkey and provolone and the sandwiches were good as usual. One thing you don't have to worry about is a dry sandwich and this location was no different. My daughter is allergic to gluten so we got the turkey/ provolone with gluten free bread. She likes it and there were no complaints. This location is behind the main strip mall next to LA Fitness on rt. 3. Sort of tucked away and hard to find. Worth a visit if your looking for a good sandwich. read more

Terrible... 8:35pm 6.20.25.... we walk in they are already wrapped up cleaning and everything is empty and closed. Lady says they are all out of bread... well that's probably because they threw it all away... everything was wrapped with plastic wrap and they were mopping.... The sign in the door says 9pm close... I was in the area and decided to try out this Jersey Mike's Subs location. The inside is extremely clean and the staff works quickly. I ordered a chipotle cheesesteak with provolone instead of white American cheese and I thought it was delicious! I would definitely recommend going here if you're in the mood for a sub. read more

The service is horrible and will clear the entire store before an online orders are done. 25 minute wait on a mobile is not ideal especially because I was waiting before people in line. Food was terrible and had the wrong items. Also, no hair coverings on staff members. read more

Not gonna lie, I'm a sucker for a good Jersey Mike's sandwich. Finally gave the Clifton location a try and as always, I was very satisfied. The employees are hustlers at this location. Between the mountain of online orders coming through and line in the store, they didn't skip a beat - the wait time was minimal and I didn't feel rushed ordering in store. In New Jersey we have great delis. Jersey Mike's is ok for sandwiches. Much better then Subway or Blimpie but not as good as local as Italian Delis. Deli meats are just acceptable. On plus side clean establishments with food help. read more

We took take-away from here on Sunday. The place was packed. Our standard turkey with provolone was horrible. The bread was dried out, a couple of tomatoes and very little lettuce. The worst part was that they had no onions. This location does not live up to Jersey Mike's standards. read more

Hubby always gets the Tuhrk/Providence sub with all the peppers. Oil & vinegar l, salt pepper and oregano, aka Mike's Way. I am not a fan of aloot of bread so I get the Super Sub I n a bit with lettuce, onions, salt and pepper. They don't carry Russian Dressing so I add it at home. This place is amazing. The sandwiches are always fresh and far superior to any other sandwich chain I've tried. Everything is super fresh and made to order. The service is impeccable, I've never had an employee here that wasn't extremely friendly and helpful. Today, after they mistakenly put oil and vinegar on my sub, they immediately told me so and even offered me the sub for free! This is a very understandable mistake to make since it is the standard way to make a sandwich at Mikes. I would've happily eaten and payed for the sub with oil and vinegar, but they insisted I take it for free. This was one of many excellent customer service experiences I've had at this (and all) Jersey Mike's restaurants. read more

Absolutely the worst Jersey Mike's I've been to. Really rude workers. I didn't even want to order after they were visibly upset, whispering to each other "oh my fucking god" when my group and I entered. Funny thing is that only one person was going to order. So we usually go to the Jersey Mike's in West Belt but, this one is closer to our house and they just recently open this location.. Bravo we saw the old manager from West Belt and I order something from the secret menu it's the #11 ham, salami, provolone (Delish) My husband got a whole #13 Italian ham, provolone, salami, cappacuolo, prosciutto .. Unfortunately the crew there looked like they didn't want to be there at all and it was such an effort to take the order and the cheesesteak I ordered was too small for a 10 dollar sandwich and was not enough meat and sloppily put together, for the 10 bucks i'd rather eat somewhere else. Let's be honest about what "Jersey" Mike's is, right? It's a garbage, POS, one-step-above Subway and Blimpie sandwich joint. And we're all cool with that. Like, it's a garbage sandwich joint, but better than the other garbage sandwich joints. Until today. My order was canceled without notice, and honestly, the food isn't good enough for nonsense. You're a little bit better than Subway, but not better enough to get crazy with your customer service. Either get your sandwiches buttoned up, or get your customer service buttoned up. But no one needs a mediocre sandwich that comes with crappy service. And, oh by the way, lose the "Jersey" nomenclature. None of us welcome you here. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a Jersey Mike's. I've been to this location numerous times and have always experienced good service but last night was ridiculous. We walked in at 8pm, this location closes at 9pm, and both employees were sweeping, one by the door and one behind the counter. There was another customer waiting to order while the employee behind the counter studiously ignored all of us with a look of annoyance on her face. We waited for several minutes to order or at least be acknowledged and eventually left in frustration. The utter lack of hospitality, service, or even acknowledgment won't have us returning any time soon. On a positive note, thanks to not getting our sandwich fix last night, we discovered Belgiovines today. Amazing sandwiches, fresh cooked specialty food, good prices, and incredible customer service. Just had a sandwich that included ham. I was served better ham in high school lunch. I'm sure all the Jersey Mike's are the same, this is very sad to serve this quality of a cold cut , Also it was very appetizing seeing a pile of lettuce scraps on the floor with five workers and no one of them could sweep it up!!! I recently went to the Clifton location and the food was good. However, there was a worker there who was taking the order and she was extremely RUDE!!! Very condescending on how she talks to the customers. God forbid you ask her a question as she does not talk to you but barks at you. I will not got there again if she's there. read more

This is the third time that I have been to this location and each time I think I'm gonna give it a chance they always prove to be horrible. The best part is that it's normally the manager of the store that's the worst employee back there. No wonder why every time I come here it's empty. You guys better go learn how to make sandwiches and treat people from the West Orange location if you want to stay in business over here Also, they must save the ends" of the meat. I paid nine dollars for a sandwich that she made from meat ends that were about a quarter of an inch thick and the meat was well done It was ridiculous. I said that the meat was very well done and she said no it's not it's medium and that's how it always is. No ma'am, I beg to differ. I come there because it's rare Oh, and the last time I was there again it was the manager who was doing the sandwiches and he kept the same gloves on that he was using to cut the meat as he was using on the dirty rag to clean down the counter. I told him I needed to have him change his gloves before he made my sandwich. He had made the person before me with those dirty gloves after he used the dirty rag. The same thing was happening today by a different manager but she had already cut my meat before she cleaned the counter but I did not see her change her gloves after. Ordered 4 giant #13 on Friday for a Saturday 10:15 am pick up. I get to location at 10:40 am, order was not ready and Mel (I think she was the manager) asked what location did I order from, told her 850 Route 3 West Clifton location, her reply was "that's not here". Showed her email confirmation and she confirmed I was at the right location. They didn't have my order. She said it will be like 10 more minutes and I said it's already 30 min late and she answers with an attitude "well we didn't get your order." Admit your mistake because there was a catering box ready for pick up so the system was working and you just didn't print mine out. read more
