Wawa continues to grow here in the Sunshine State, which is good news for Floridians, especially us Floridians who grew up around Wawa. Wawa is a gas station, but it is so much more than just a gas station. Wawa has earned a spot in the hearts of those of us who grew up around Wawa. Wawa was often a late night stop after a night out to grab one of their subs, or hoagies as they are called in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey area. Their subs or hoagies, whatever you want to call them, are pretty good. I would have to say that my go-to hoagie or sub would be their Italian. Not a bad sandwich, especially when you consider that it is from a gas station. You can also take advantage of their standard convenience store items. I also like their soft pretzels. All in all, I would strongly recommend this Wawa location or any Wawa location. As Wawa continues to grow throughout Florida, we can all rejoice. Maybe rejoice over one of their subs or hoagies or whatever you want to call them. read more

I stop in every morning because it's right on my way to work and they never have breakfast sandwiches stocked at the register and they are always out of regular coffee???? How is that possible in the mornings when everyone stops for a fast coffee and a quick breakfast??? The only upside is Nicole at the register. Very friendly and always up beat. read more

Nice place inside with a huge coffee station and a deli in the middle. So many coffee options, but I found the regular coffee far too weak. I like how you can add any kind of creamer, sweetener, and other liquids to your coffee, it's quite convenient. The prices for cookies, chips, and candy are not cheap. The Wawa chocolate chip cookie I bought at the counter tasted more like a sugar cookie. read more

Uh, all these reviews dissing the food and business, look this place has shit food , the pizza is cooked in a microwave for chrissakes, but it has a beer cooler, it is a great alternative for people visiting Florida and need beer and food quick. It's not cheap though, unlike here in MA with Cumberland Farms, cheap shit food, you can get dinner at Cumby's for less than 10.00. read more

This Wawa was just ok. First of all there was a homeless man sleeping outside which wasn't a big concern. But then once I walked in a couple police officers walked in looking for this guy and asked him to leave the store. If you need to stop go to this Wawa but if you can wait and drive to another one close by it's probably a safer option. read more

Oh WOWWW! First time at a WAWA and I am as excited as a kid let loose in a playground. Oh the variety, the cleanliness, the service, the technology, I was in pure shock. How could a gas station be so beautiful???? I've heard about WAWA's but was glad I got to experience myself. Let's describe it as the Target of gas stations. It has the variety of Walmart but the quality of Target LOL. They have a little bit of everything in this location. Literally everything. They also have a sandwich and smoothie/coffee counter. You order on a computer booth/screen, pay at another electronic booth and by the time you're done paying your sandwich or drink is ready at the counter. The service is great and employees are friendly as well. We ordered two coffee frappe like drinks that were so delicious. They have various options on flavors and extras to add in your drinks; extra coffee shot, protein, energy for only 99 cents more. They also have a great selection of craft beers available. Anyways next time you want to take putting gas to another level, find yourself a WAWA. Hoping they expand to South Florida. read more

I love Wawa. I ordered the mac and cheese bowl and a brisket sandwich. Not bad, the chocolate shakes are great but the floor could be cleaner. I miss having their cannoli and cannoli chips appetizer in the showcase which was not available at this location. :( read more

This wawa sucks mainly with general management. I'm homeless as with the person I live with and wawa regular managers have been amazing enough to let us park our trailer overnight as no one else needs those 3 lots,,,, shout out to a few good managers..the last week has been crappy though. Lisa (one general manager ) decided that we can't park there anymore after almost a month and the workers decided to tell us at 1am (we got there at 9:30 but they were busy). And then the other gm one day laughed when I asked and told me no one needs those parking spaces and we are good. But decided that now we can't and gave no specific reasoning was rude and condescending as well... don't trust this wawa y'all except for a few wonderful employees and regular management the rest need to be replaced. read more

I went due to the hype. And you know, it was good. But I expected great. I mean, part of its my fault...prolly shouldn't have toasted a chicken salad hoagie. But the chicken was most definitely dry. Beyond the fact that it's a little hard to reach except from one direction, it's also the only location where I've noticed the outside seats have "no smoking" signs. When did this start? Talk about forgetting their Jersey roots, and hopefully this doesn't spread. Still, the location reps WaWa well with a very clean store and awesome selection. read more

This location is horrible. They never answer the phone and the orders are wrong or half the order is missing. Most Wawas are pretty fantastic but there's always that one guy and this one is it. Even giving zero stars would be too gracious if zero stars were available. read more

My cousin needed gas for her car, so I ran in to see what all the fuss is about, as I've not had the opportunity to visit a Wawa before. Upon walking in, I found it to have the aura of a food court, but a cleaner food court. It's not bad, don't get me wrong. It just felt like I was stepping into a city as well. The place is pretty big, considering it's a convenience store. With a section of (ok, food court type) fresh cooked food, I can see why some people flock to these stores. Everything seemed reasonable, and the beer cave (walk in refrigerator) was actually pretty cool (figure the pun out yourself :P). I can't say anything negative, nor can I say "I'm a fan!" or "As good as it gets!" as I would have to frequent the store (or stores) again to make that call. For now, the place is A-OK and I can say I window shopped. read more

My hubby and I have gone to this location on Colonial Blvd several times in the past two weeks now, and the employees always seem nice. The place has always been clean and air conditioned. They also have a good supply of Tastycake cupcakes and little pies which my hubby loves! The only two problems we've had are; Once, the Family Size container of Mac 'n Cheese was only 3/4ths full. I figured maybe they had just run out of the mac 'n cheese and had given me as much as they could. Hey, it happens. But since then, twice now the Family Size Mac 'n Cheese has only been 2/3rds full. The amount is changing but in the wrong direction! So from now on I will have to check it before taking it out of the store. (When you're paying $7.29 plus tax, you should get what you're paying for. Cutting food amounts is not the way to keep customers.) The other problem was they forgot the onions and cucumber on my tuna sub this last time we stopped in, even though I watched the girl look at the slip several times while making it. ( Couldn't see her doing the actual making of it because she was working at that part of the counter behind the basket where "paid slips" go. Otherwise, I would have been able to let her know what her "oops" were.) Sigh. Guess I have to open up my sub and check it, too, from now on (since this is the only sub I ever order). Or we could just go down South Cleveland Ave to the other Wawa's...which we most likely will do. Maybe THEY want more customers. read more

Again with out of breakfast food at 947. No egg bowls. Can't order side of bacon. Out of everything bagel. First of all, if you are out or low, TAKE IT OFF THE ORDER MENU. I know you can!!! I see it all he time. Or better yet, how about we stop running out of things. People, and I'm a people, chose a particular store such as this one based on what we like. I don't want to make multiple stops. I love me some wawa, but his one seems to be out of breakfast foods often. Look at your par levels and manage your order appropriately. If I wanted a gas station sandwich I'd go to Racetrac. At least I know they will always have them. read more

Arabica coffee was excellent. 6" Hoagie with scrambled eggs, cheese & ham was excellent. They bake the bread there on premises. EZ in & out. It was not crowded when I was there. Large roof covering the gas pumps while I filled up during the Monsoon rain we had this morning. It was my first time ordering or eating there; the lady who cooked my breakfast came out from behind the counter & showed me how to use the computer ordering system. I am from the Philly area so I know what the quality of what their sandwich meats should taste like. I ordered the Italian hoagie and a turkey hoagie. The rolls were good, the sweet peppers are just like home, but the meats in the hoagies is substandard. This store is using a cheaper meat and has no flavor. I'll try another Wawa in the area. I don't know who the guy's name was behind the food counter, however his attitude was poor, not friendly, and when I asked for a side of ranch for my chicken he started slamming drawers and was like I don't know.
