I walked into Jersey Mike's this morning at 10:00 to order 4 large subs with chips and drinks for a business meeting. When I entered, there was a female worker bent over the counter showing an older lady something on her phone. I walked past and the employee never looked up, or greeted me. I looked in the back to see if there was someone who could help me, but she was the only one there. She finally addressed me and told me she'd be with me in a minute. She then went back to her phone taking with the old lady. Finally couldn't wait longer and walked out saying "great service". I drove to a Jimmy John's in the way to my meeting. There were 4 employees working and no one in their phone's! I was promptly greeted and they processed my order promptly.The bill was way over $70! I wouldn't have put in a review, but the old lady on the phone chased me out of Jersey Mike's screaming I need to be more patient. If you're a tuna salad fan it's the best I've found in this area. White Albacore, Hellman's Mayo, diced celery, seasoning rather than that pasty stuff you get in the average franchise shop or even major supermarkets. Today, we have Ham and Provolone and Philly Cheese for lunch. Great subs selections here. The meats are sliced in front of you with fresh tomatoes, lettuces and fresh baked bread! Don't forget that cherry pepper relish! Great staff! Friendly and personable. One thing about this location, is their consistency. Not once, we have a problem at this location! The tables are on greasy side but the subs are outstanding, delicious and satisfying. Yes, we've left Subway and heading to Jersey! I walked in, excited to get a sub for my birthday but was quickly disappointed. The staff was cold and did not greet my friends and I. I proceeded to order my sub while happily handing my ID -clearly showing my birthdate- to one employee. I also made sure to hand her the rewards app I had downloaded. When we were not able to find the coupon for a free sub, things quickly turned. It was a simple misunderstanding, but I was not even given the choice of whether or not I would like to pay for the sub that should have been free. After a long awkward pause of silence, I was told the price of the sandwich and was not given an option. I succumbed to avoid any conflict but felt deceived and confused. Just witnessed a lady come in with her sub saying she wanted chicken but was given steak. The workers literally went into the computer to find that the order was for a steak sub (even though it could've been entered incorrectly by said employee) then told the customer they would have to call the manager to see if they would need to charge the customer again for the sub. After the phone call the worker proceeded to charge the customer for the remade sub, she literally paid two times for one sub. I almost felt bad for the workers because they literally didn't know any better, and a phone call to the manager was not the best look either. The man who made my sub either was distracted by his conversation or didn't even know what each of his sandwiches are called or have on them. This place is two different restaurants, so you never know what you're going to get. There's one restaurant that Has great food done right and excellent customer service. That's what you get when the owners are there. The majority of the time you get sarcastic employees and really bad service (Megan and Lydia) -Which would be OK if you at least got a great sandwich but again, sadly when the owners aren't there, the food sucks. My last attempt to continue going to this Jersey Mike's was trying to talk to the owner and let them know but after several attempts and them never returning my call, I gave up. We're going to try the one on Summerlin now and hopefully it's better. The one on S. Cleveland in South Fort Myers is giving jersey mikes a bad name. read more
