Five of my last six orders have included missing or incorrect items. Subs have been prepared incorrectly--including ingredients that were specifically excluded due to dietary restrictions. For example, a family member with a cheese intolerance has had to inspect and remove cheese from their sandwich multiple times. Chips and cookies are frequently missing, despite being listed (and charged) on the receipt. When they are included, they're often incorrect in quantity or type--for instance, receiving one package of small cookies instead of three packages of large ones. These repeated mistakes suggest a breakdown in the order preparation process. Additionally, the store is unreachable by phone. Calls either go unanswered or are met with a full voicemail box, making resolution impossible without going through third-party services like DoorDash. While DoorDash is responsive with refunds, that doesn't resolve the core issue. Tonight, I declined a refund and asked for a redelivery, simply because I wanted the correct items. We enjoy Jersey Mike's, but until I know steps have been taken to fix these systemic issues, we'll have to order from elsewhere.

At the time, a Chicken Chalupa was about $4.79-$5.29 in places like Annapolis, Salisbury, Ocean City, Venice Beach, and even New York City. This Rehoboth Beach location charged nearly $7.40 for a single Chicken Chalupa, which is far higher than other tourist and high-cost areas. I even asked the cashier if the price was correct, and she confirmed it was. While Rehoboth Beach is a tourist town in the summer, it's very quiet in the winter, and this location isn't even near the boardwalk. Many restaurants adjust prices seasonally, but this one clearly does not. I paid because I was craving it, but I will not return. The pricing feels extreme and unreasonable, especially for families. For that price, I could have gone to Chipotle and gotten a full meal for less. Completely unacceptable.

The woman proprietor said there were no "special" cups for water, and I was told I had to purchase an empty $2.00 cup used for the fountain. I stood there thinking, "how am I supposed to eat this sandwich dry"? Is this Subway so money hungry that she couldn't give me a store cup? Her obtuse answer was that she was not allowed to do so. HUH? So, unfortunately, I had to leave the sandwich there and walk out. I had no choice, or rather, I had the choice of choking and paying and hoping she would see the absurdity and lack of customer courtesy that went unheeded. I feel bad in a way for her. Perhaps the management sent a strong message based on what I can only imagine is greed to the workers there. If she is management, shame on her! I will be sending this complaint to Subway corporate.

This Wendy's is located closer to the Dewey Beach side of Rehoboth, so don't confuse it with the other one up the road. Make my order and pull around to the window to pay and everything. Pull around front and park to make sure my order was correct before heading back to the room. I get to my room and start to dig in. I can tell that not everything that I ordered was fresh. The chicken sandwich was kind of dry. The fries were a bit cold (yes, I got them to go, but it was literally five minutes up the road) and over-salted. The burger looked as if it sat in the warmer for a bit too long. The only saving grace was the beverage. Which that is not hard to mess up. Eating after a migraine is no easy task. But it definitely wasn't an enjoyable meal that had a lot of portions to it wasted. The staff were not the nicest here either. They kind of sounded like drones and didn't really seem to care much about what they were doing. Evident by how the food was prepared.

Usually they have all sorts of cool sodas, fruit flavored teas and lemonades, plus the regular drinks. They didn't even have diet pop. I don't know if they're getting their drink refill shipment the next morning or what but it was kind of disappointing. A Wendy's is a Wendy's and they're usually a default four stars in my book, but this particular location was kind of lacking. I'd still go back, though, as long as I'm not in a hurry.
