Prescribed 2 medications . The meds were amazing and eliminated 75% of the throbbing pain. What i noticed, was everyone is so friendly and pleasant to talk to. They speak slow and clear and very patient and polite. There is a nice garden on the first level. I think i have to visit all the departments. Since i haven't seen a doctor after my PCP retired last year. So hard to find a doctor who will accept new patients. I definitely recommend Sutter Health in Mountain View. I was assigned to Sunnyvale for my new PCP. Was told it is just as nice there, just smaller. So if you need urgent care, check out this location

They offered to have a nurse run some tests, which was a bit concerning enough for them to have a provider see me. When I saw them, the doctor was very concerned with my symptoms especially after they learned that I had a bad lung infection last year that sent me to the hospital. They ended up checking vitals and breathing patterns and later recommended a few antibiotics and a couple of new inhalers to help and told me that if things don't get better, to make sure to come back. The whole process from start to finish wasn't too long, but I was told the place was closed because of some weird scheduling thing? Overall, I'm happy with my visit tonight. I'm also glad my insurance was able to cover my visit as well. All the staff here were very helpful and kind and got me out the door in a small amount of time. I know everyone's experience will be different but mine was great. Thank you so much for the amazing service and thank you for helping me!

I had slipped and fallen on my knee hard that it split opened requiring stitches. The PA even said she could see the tendon. Making the appt was very easy that I was able to schedule an appt within an hour of my accident. When I arrived, I was greeted by the receptionist. She was very professional, no complaints at all. The nurse assistant was very pleasant as well. Took my vitals and gingerly cleaned my opened wound and said I was overdue for a tetenus. Nurse practitioner came in and she was very pleasant from the get-go. As she was stitching me up, we had similar funny stories to share that we both laughed and it really made time go fast and she did a really nice job. Another nurse assistant came in and gave me my tetanus shot and he, too, was pleasant and professional. I didn't really have to wait long to see the nurse assistant and then the nurse practitioner. I was probably there about 45-60 min in total, pretty fast considering they had to take my vitals, stitch me up and then give me the tetanus shot. I had a very pleasant experience. Everyone I met was very professional, kind, caring and most of all, my wait time was very minimal. Everything went smoothly which you would think would be the opposite on Friday the 13th (superstitious day). I *highly* recommend this facility. Environment was clean and tidy, and everyone was pleasant and extremely professional and caring.

I recently had to pay a visit to the Emergency Department at El Camino. I have been to this ER many…read moretimes as well as being a patient in the main hospital for surgeries and the recovery that follows. I have always experienced excellent care here. I have an auto immune disease that sometimes causes my inflammatory markers to skyrocket and this will cause me so much pain, beyond what I can control at home. That's exactly what happened last week. I knew I was in trouble and needed to get to the ER fast. My husband got us there quickly and I checked in. I was taken to the triage area for my vitals. Luckily I'm in their system. And most of my Doctors are connected with El Camino because they are a part of Sutter Health. So the hospital knows my health history. The waiting area was packed with sick people. I'm thinking, this is going to be a long and painful wait. I was called back to see the Dr. within a few minutes, which was surprisingly quick. They got me a wheelchair and took me back. All of my joints were hurting so bad that it hurt to walk. I explained everything to Dr. Tsai. I appreciated that he listened to me and took the time to ask important questions. I told him I was supposed to get labs done tomorrow for my metabolic panel because I wasn't feeling well and I told him that the way I was feeling probably meant my inflammatory markers, ESR and C-reactive protein were probably very high. He told me he would order all those tests immediately and start me off with pain pills first and then progress to stronger IV meds if the pills didn't work. I also mentioned to him that the new medication that I have been taking for this problem has not been working very well and my rheumatologist was trying to get prior authorization to increase the dose of that new medication. That's why my pain had gotten out of hand. I was sent back to the waiting area, again, to wait to get my labs done. I was again called back within a few minutes. I was taken back for the bloodwork. Then taken to a private patient room, where I could lay down in a bed and get my IV started. I met the nurses that would be taking care of me. I let them know that it's hard finding my veins. I appreciated that the nurse believed me and got a vein finder to help with finding a vein. She was able to find one that was deeper, in my arm, but it was a good vein. She got the IV started. Her patience with getting my IV started was awesome. A lot of times nurses don't believe me when I tell them I'm a hard stick. She was wonderful and did an amazing job with my IV. Since the pills didn't work for my pain, we moved on to stronger IV pain medication. I was also felling nauseated from the pain. They didn't hesitate to give me nausea medication, right away. As it turned out, my inflammatory markers were extraordinarily high. They gave me the best pain management over the next several hours and didn't discharge me until my pain was under control and I was more relaxed and calm. Pain like that is horrible. I want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Tsai and nurses for listening to me and my pain concerns and doing everything they could to stabilize me. I have followed up with my doctors and am on a new medication regimen to help with the inflammation. I am finally feeling better. The medical team here, treated me with respect and dignity. Everyone was very professional and kind. I am grateful to the medical team that took care of me that day. Thank you to Dr. Tsai and the nurses that all worked collaboratively, to get me feeling better.

I'm one of those people who tries to avoid going to the emergency room unless I think I'm about to die. And that was indeed the situation. I showed up at about 6 AM and I was one of two people there. So I was able to get processed and brought in very quickly. I was very impressed by the security people in the triage process as well as how they nurses, doctor, and techs took care of me. When I left a few hours later, the emergency room was packed and very chaotic. One doesn't get to choose what time an emergency happens but in my case, I'm glad that it was at a time when things weren't very busy.

When I disputed this predatory split-billing practice, customer service hid behind standard corporate policy. Infuriating bait-and-switch. I canceled my membership and will not be back. Cost was $75, which I feel was very reasonable compared to what I would have paid at urgent care, not to mention a long wait time.

Barely touch my nose. Then they took a throat swab for a sinus infection. I would have thought a nasal swab for bacterial culture would be more appropriate. Same thing - barely touch my throat and sent to an out of network lab. $550 gone. Then a follow up call to go over the results that lasted 5 mins. $100 bucks gone. In the call the provider literally says either you don't have any infection OR the previous provider didn't take the sample properly. Like that is literally your job!! 2 days later, I went to another urgent care that prescribed me another course of antibiotics that actually cured the infection. Spent $1000 bucks for literally nothing!
