Mike had also promised some "gift cards" to make up for the inconvenience (never saw them, was happier to see the crew finally leave). This time, we had the bathtub/shower combination torn out and replaced with a shower only installation. It is 2 inches deeper front to back, and 2 inches longer than the old tub, so the one wall needed modified to accommodate it, and with the drain moved to the middle, the drain and under flooring needed some modification. When the old tub was removed, it was discovered that when the previous owners had installed the tub, they had cut out some of the floor joist, and Eric resolved that at no additional cost. I don't know when I will be able to do some of my other plans, but if I can, these are the folks I will call to do them.

Since the boxes that held the rock were broken upon us making arrangements for pick up, Kelly's offered to deliver our supplies to our house with no additional cost to us. There were a few rain delays, but we cannot control the weather. He continued to work in light rain and would work up until the rain just didn't allow it any more.
