I walked into ferguson and Vicky treated me like an old friend. I had only been to one other store…read moreand was very unhappy with the way I was treated by the salesperson so I was impressed from the first moment. Vicky spent lots of time with me going over every detail. I left with 2 catalogs and returned the next week to order; they arrived (as she promised) in a very timely manner. however, when I got them home I realized the one I ordered for the LR was not going to work. I have a 1780 colonial with 7' ceilings. I did not want a flush mount but anything in the chandelier category was going to be tough. I went back with the light. at which point I had done what I had not done for the first visit,,,i measured to determine overall max length, then I could figure out what the max length of the stem should be. I showed her a couple of possibilities in the catalogs she had given me after the first visit, but strangely, the information I needed to decide what would work was not listed in the product description...well Vicky called the manufacturer and spent a huge amount of time asking all the right questions...I should note here: this was not just one light she was calling about...I had picked several...so again...could not have been more impressed with her ! long story short. I ordered a replacement....and it is PERFECT. ferguson sells more than just lights....i'll be back to see Vicky for all of that too.i cannot recommend her more highly. she a pro...and a just a great person.

I wanted to write an update. Victoria is still a pleasure to work with, but her boss is not…read more The first bathtub we received was cracked. Victoria was on vacation and I spoke to another sales associate who was now caught in between a rock and a hard place. I was given the option of waiting a week for a repair for the tub or two weeks to get a new one. I asked for a reasonable good-faith offer to cut the cost of the tub if we got it repaired, since I was now going to have bought a refurbished tub. The manager never got on the phone with me, which was a red light right away, but made the other sales associate shuttle back and forth between us. His offer? $100 off. It was insulting. The tub was $1000 and I was still going to have to wait. He couldn't be bothered to negotiate...not even so much as an offer of store credit. So we ordered a new tub. It took 3 weeks, not 2. They did nothing to expedite any of the process. I don't blame the sales associate, she was not the person who should have dealt with that. The bad business practice lies firmly with the manager who did not have the decency to pick up the phone and make a customer who had just given them several thousand dollars happy. Victoria, when she returned had to clean up the mess, and the new tub (and old one) arrived without a drain assembly. The plumber had to drive out to pick one up. Open *every* box immediately before the delivery truck pulls away or the manager will throw you under the bus, because taking care of people who give you money is hard.

I especially appreciated the same-day demo and installation and the attention to detail in every step of the project. Previously, Tri-State installed quartz in our new bathroom. Communication became entirely one-sided, and I constantly had to chase the company for updates. I was originally told fabrication would take about 10 days. A week later, I called for a status update and spoke with Karolina, who promised to call me back. She never did. Another week later, I called again and was assured I would get an answer that same day. Again, no response. After several more days of trying to get information, I finally spoke with Daniella, who informed me that they didn't even have the stone yet. The installation day was just as frustrating. I was given an arrival window, but the installers never showed up during that time. No one called to let me know they were running late. I had to contact the office multiple times, and each time I was told an even longer wait time. Ultimately, the installers arrived nearly two hours after the scheduled arrival window had ended. During the sales process, they advertise that installation includes a "free new sink." What was never disclosed to me was that I would need to hire a plumber separately to make the sink usable. Additionally, Daniella admitted she forgot to send me the installation paperwork, which included important instructions on how to prepare for installation and what to do afterward. Customers should not have to discover critical information only after the fact because staff failed to provide the required documentation. What is most disappointing is that this company came highly recommended by members of my family. Unfortunately, the experience I received was marked by poor communication, broken promises, missed deadlines, lack of follow-through, and a complete absence of proactive customer service. Once the deposit was collected, I felt like getting accurate information or even a return phone call became a constant struggle. There are plenty of companies that value their customers' time and communicate honestly throughout the process. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering Tri-State to look elsewhere.
