They should seriously be investigated for malpractice. They prescribe you medication you get addicted to, and don't care if you go through withdrawal symptoms unless you call them out. They are very unprofessional, to say the least! read more

I've been going to this group for years. A long time ago I had a great Psychiatrist and then this person left for health reasons. Since then I had two more therapists and they left within a year or less without the office telling me until the day of the appointment. Now I have a good therapist for a while and I like this person. As far as the office staff they are not professional. They tell me that I will receive a call from a doctor for a problem I called about and the doctor never calls me. I was told if I had a bad problem that I should go to the hospital. Terrible response. If that person that I see leaves I will follow them and not return to this practice. read more

I have been going to the Waynik group in Trumbull for over a year and can not say enough nice things about the front office staff. They are the most cordial and efficient group I have ever encountered. The Therapist, Ms Cianci is the best. I honestly wish I would have seen the reviews before proceeding to make an appointment with this establishment. The reviews are correct. This was the most unprofessional and terrible experience. But it's not just the secretaries. There's just no real sense of care. I'm scheduled for a virtual appointment and I called the office prior to my appointment to ensure the doctor is tracking the apt is virtual since it was originally not virtual. I call at 8:02. At 8:22 I receive a call from the office stating I should receive a link for my appointment and the doctor is aware of the change. At 8:44 I call the office because I have not yet received a link to the virtual meeting. They tell me the doctor still with another patient and she's running behind, but she will send me the link as soon as she's done. At 9:05 I finally received a link and log into my appointment by 9:07, but there's no one there. At 9:13 I called the doctors office again to see what's going on because I've replied to her email where she sent the link and I've also sent messages on the zoom call that I am currently logged into and have received no reply from the doctor. At this point the doctors office is telling me that I didn't show up to the car and they're going to charge me a missed appointment fee. This is the second time this has happened. The first time I was physically at the doctors office, but there was no one in the front desk, and since I arrive to my appointment early after waiting in front of the window for five minutes thinking someone was gonna show up I took a seat. 20 minutes later someone approaches me and tells me that the doctor can't see me because they had no idea I was sitting in the waiting room. I was been told that the doctor would still call me and we'll virtual meet that day, but then she never did. Just completely unprofessional. Lack of communication from a professional that's supposed to help. This place is a joke. Also, while I was sitting in the doctors office, waiting for my appointment, the first time I could hear workers in the back talking about one of the patients and details of the session. They were criticizing the patient's opinion, and what was said during the session. read more

I have been going to the Waynik Group for awhile. The people who work there outside of the therapist do not care one bit about their clients. I would not recommend this group to anyone. All they care about is the money. They will not work with you at all. They held my prescriptions hostage with out even talking about it. Stay away!! read more

The therapist I saw was wonderful. However, the practice's rigid policies and procedures outweigh my desire to stay with my therapist. The Group will charge a $70 fee for a no-show - which in and of itself is valid. I fully support the implementation of a cancellation policy/ no-show policy. I worked in the mental health administration field for some time and respect and appreciate the doctors and provider's time. However, the Waynik Group changed my appointments several times throughout my time with the practice. I have waited for over 20+ minutes for my appointments at times and I have been cancelled on with short notice. This has occurred over several occasions. Yet, they billed me and I paid willingly for the service I was provided. I hoped the same grace and leniency would be offered to a patient in otherwise good standing. Recently I missed an appointment inadvertently after the dates and times of the appointment were changed by the practice. Aside from the one appointment, my attendance and punctuality have been impeccable. When I explained the situation to the front desk, I was told exceptions to the cancellation policy needed to be discussed with the billing department. The billing department explained there were absolutely no exceptions. I spoke with the officer manager, Allison, who told me there was rigid policy in place, and even though the office did change my appointments, and despite having back-to-back scheduled days in their calendar which expatriated the confusion - they refused to make a one-time exception because that is what I agreed to. I let the office manager know I disputed the charge. The office manager then told me I did not need to authorize the charge and could not dispute the charge because there was a credit on my account (I pay a portion of my bills out of pocket) and that they were going to take it from my credit I already had on file. In part - again she said I contractually agreed to this. This is true. I did agree to and would pay a fee if I no-showed for an appointment because of my exclusive mistake and or disregard for someone else's time. However, the nature of those agreements is to prevent abuse and re-occurring absences for chronically and habitually absent patients. This is not the situation here. There is a time and a place for no-show cancellation policies - absolutely. Should a mental health practice make said policy a blanket policy for all patients at all times regardless of the circumstances or contributions of the practice to the schedule confusions to begin with? Maybe. Is the practice monetarily benefiting from this Policy - who knows. I should have taken caution when I saw the abysmal ratings this practice has across several platforms. Unfortunately, I did not and it cost me $70. read more

Office staff is rude and unhelpful. Makes you feel like you are a waste of their time and your questions are stupid. I will definitely not be returning to a place that is supposed to be A SUPPORT for behavioral health and instead enflames situations and makes the patient feel like they are a bother. When i called to explain my situation, I was rudely cut off and not given a chance to explain, just asked for my DOB and name. I understand you need me details in order to see my account, but there is no need to cut me off and make me feel like I'm wasting your time. When i called back to let the office manager know about the person i spoke with, they took the side of the staff member and basically told me they did nothing wrong. There is a nice way to deal with people, and a nasty way. I wpuld not give my behavioral health business to this place. read more

If I could give 0 stars to the Waynik group I would! For a mental health practice, mental health certainly appears to be the least of their concerns. In under 12 month's time, I've had to "deal" with 3 different "professionals". In this world, regardless of profession, EVERYONE is busy- just because you're an MD/whatever you are in the medical field, doesn't make your time/worthiness more important than anyone else. If only insurance wasn't involved- I'd go somewhere else in a HEARTBEAT! Seek another professional ASAP! read more

I wish I would have read their reviews before I schedule an appt. The Dr gave me a prescription for ViiBryd. He said if I had any side affects to contact him immediately. I had an appt on June 2 and decided to talk then. I had my appointment written down for 1:40, but apparently it was at noon. The girls at the desk told me, they needed to reschedule me. I told them, I just had a question about the medication. The Dr refused to answer my question, and said he would call me in the AM. NO PHONE CALL. I told the girl, I just needed to speak to him, and she said, well you'll have to come in. Keep in mind this company is 40 minutes from my home. I let the girl know, I was having side affects from the medication, and just wanted to know if I could stop it. She said, she could not tell me unless I rescheduled. In addition, they told me they took my insurance, but I called my Insurance today, and they do not. I overheard one of the girls tell a patient, they guess what is owed and if the ins is too high or low, they will either increase or decrease your bill. read more

This practice is by far the worst mental health practice there is in the area. Unfortunately there's not enough mental health physicians and you're forced to go to this practice. Also they cannot keep new physician assistants or Aprns So you're constantly having to get a new provider. read more

They never called him back.Then he called and they said that he never called with his information which he did call and gave them all the information. Then he finally called and they didn't have an opening till 6 weeks later. So much for emergency spots. Needless to say I would never use these people. read more

I started seeing an RN who can prescribe. She was very nice. But, I agree with other reviews. This office needs a real office manager - or this business needs an operations manager. Whoever is doing it is asleep at the wheel. When I went to pay in Trumbull, I noticed the receptionist had like ripped pants on almost like her pajamas or something - really unprofessional. Trying to get a refill is very hard. The hours are extremely limited. They often do not answer. By the time you get thru, they tell you that you waited too long, and you have to make an appointment. read more

This practice deserves ZERO stars, they are the worst. The staff is completely rude, nasty, and they don't care. The women they have answering the phone need to take a course in customer service, and learn how to speak to people. Dr. Schneider is completely useless, I have to call him four times for him to refill my prescription when I'm completely out. He doesn't care when you have absolutely no medication left or not. It's not hard for him to submit a script on the computer and the nasty women who work in the office say it takes 24 hours. It takes two seconds to submit a script he already has on his computer but that's obviously too hard for him. As a doctor he knows someone can not just stop taking a medication because they will get very sick, but he obviously doesn't care. I've had to go to the pharmacy numerous times and beg for them to give me a few of my antidepressants to last me until my appointment with him because he doesn't care and can't be bothered. This is completely unacceptable and it's unethical. This whole group should be reported for their ill practices and blatant disregard for the well being of their patients. I will be finding a new psychiatrist ASAP because I'm done with this incompetent office and the even more incompetent Dr. Schneider. read more
