Emser Tile - Passion™ glazed porcelain tile in Rosa (wall)

Emser Tile has provided my company with the highest quality of natural stone & porcelain, floor and…read morewall coverings, that i have seen in my 15 years of setting tile. I use Emser Tile for bulk material purchases as well as in my own home. Today was much different than my usual pleasant and above average encounter with them. They have shown kindness and support to the community in which they inhabit and have surpassed any and all reasonable expectations one should have of their tile supplier. { I stumbled upon an individual who serves his community and offers his home and resources to aid people in maintaining good mental health as well as helping individuals stay free of substance use. This individual does not have a lot of money and does all of this from the kindness of his heart, in other words just to help people. I took it upon myself to replace some broken and/or missing tiles within his kitchen, to remove the potential trip hazard in varying floor heights (he is 90 years old). } I contacted Emser Tile assuming at the very least they would have a suitable product for the replacement. Emser Tile, when hearing of the cause immediately told me to come down to the showroom to see if they had some sample tiles that may be of use, to which they would just give me to help out. Emser Tile personnel went wayyyyy above and beyond to then offer me use of their discontinued tile supply, to be able to redo this person's entire kitchen floor! (which likely hasn't been done in the life of the home) (I will be providing before and after pictures upon installation) Everyone i have spoke to in regards to your generosity has been absolutely ecstatic and very appreciative. Not many businesses show kindness and care for their community, but Emser Tile does and that should known. If you are considering to purchase tile, you should use Emser Tile. If not for the quality of their product's alone, for the insurmountable customer service you receive when you are there. Saying thank you for the level of service i have received seems insufficient, however i hope it will do. Sincerely, Tom @ Adept Stone and Tile

We were looking for a more high-end, custom type of tile - wavy glossy charcoal tile to work for our shower renovation. We couldn't find what we were looking for online at other tile stores or at Floor and Decor, so decided to stop in here. Their tile variety is nice, and they definitely have some more modern, elevated types of tile! I was impressed with some of the styles. The shopping experience is mostly on-your-own: they have the tiles all displayed at eye height, and some samples below it. There are a few salespeople / admin team members stationed at a few desks with computers in the middle of the store, but found that they didn't approach me, so if I had questions or wanted to purchase I needed to go to them - like it was a check out counter. Staff is a mixed bag - some helpful, some not so happy to be there. The tile is certainly not cheap, but that's what you get for more luxe looking stuff I guess! I was a little bummed they didn't have what they had on display in stock, but what I ordered only took about a week to arrive in store. When I needed a few more boxes, they helped me reorder again - and again a week. However, they helped me get it shipped to their other location so I could get it a day sooner. They also took back my two unused boxes for refund. I liked the variety of quality options here and appreciated how what they stocked differed from other places!

Tile by Design does not disclose either in writing, verbally, or on their website if specific tile is special order/non-refundable. When we placed the order for our tile, we specifically asked if the 10% overage in square footage was returnable. A Tile by Design employee told us that it was in fact returnable. Additionally, none of the paperwork we receive, including the receipt, said that the tile was special order/non-refundable. After receiving the tile, we discovered that it was full of scratches, divots, pin holes, air bubbles, and chipped edges. When attempting to return the tile, they would not accept. They told us the only way we could return the tile was if we paid for a shipping and restocking fee, which resulted in 40% of the overall purchase. We even offered to share the return costs by suggesting 20% each and they refused. Their lack of integrity for both the quality of their product and treatment of their customers is unacceptable. We encourage all consumers to take your business elsewhere.
