X rays on the premises. I was rear ended in a car accident. I was rocked. My back, neck and right shoulder were jacked up. I went to a hospital ER in the area and it was slammed. So I went on our good ol' Yelp and found this wonderful urgent care. Everything about this experience - the first phone call with Gabrielle, her care, concern and professionalism; her being on the ball and so efficient( btw she is a US Navy Veteran)- this set the tone for a great and calming visit. Dr Cho was incredible. Very personable, cool, related to me and was just so very thorough as he covered every possible avenue and took his time treating me, testing my reflexes and my areas of concern. He was very thorough. He showed me and detailed all of my x rays. The office was immaculate. Clean and very well organized. There were complimentary mini water bottles and some snacks for the patients. Great medical establishment.

So i called them to see if they could switch up my muscle relaxant and they said I'd have to come in again. WHAT! I was literally just there for the same exact problem and you want me to return?!? They just want another reason to bill my insurance, as if my first copay wasn't high enough. My advice- if you can wait for your primary doc- WAIT! DO NOT GO TO THIS LABCORP LOCATION…read more Today, 09/04, I had an 11:30 AM appointment that I scheduled by phone. I arrived early at approximately 11:15 AM, only to find patients waiting outside and complaining that they had already been waiting for HOURS -- some saying close to 3 hours, even with appointments. I waited until a phlebotomist finally came outside and showed her my confirmation information. She looked for my name on a piece of paper, FOUND MY NAME, and then told me that something with my appointment was "incomplete." This is where customer service should come in. If my name is on your list and I am standing there with confirmation of an appointment, HELP ME. Explain what is incomplete. Tell me what needs to be fixed. Try to find a solution. Don't simply dismiss a patient who showed up on time for an appointment. What upset me even more was the attitude and complete lack of willingness to help. Two employees in particular -- one woman wearing glasses with her hair pulled back, and another woman in black scrubs and glasses -- came across as unprofessional, unpleasant, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping resolve the situation. People coming to Labcorp aren't necessarily there because they WANT to be there. Some may be sick, elderly, frightened, in pain, fasting for bloodwork, or dealing with serious medical conditions. A little kindness, patience, professionalism, and compassion go a LONG way. I hope Labcorp corporate management reviews who was working at this location today, 09/04, and takes these complaints seriously. Based on what I witnessed, I clearly wasn't the only frustrated patient. Management needs to take a hard look at how this location is being run and consider putting together a team with better attitudes, better organization, and much better customer service. This business will bill as Place of Service(POS) 11 Office/Home visit, rather than Place of Service (POS) 20, Urgent Care Facility. My copay for an urgent care facility is $20, all services covered, deductible waived. My co-pay for an office visit is $40 for a specialist, deductible applied. I was charged the specialist office visit copay as well as deductible for supplies. Upon calling the billing department, I was told that they are contracted to bill as an office/primary care, not as an urgent care. Be aware that this is serious misrepresentation of the business to anyone who is bringing their child here for Urgent Care Services. The marketing says "Little Star Pediatric URGENT CARE''. Every other urgent care facility I have utilized has billed appropriately, save this place. It is unfortunate, because their hours are convenient and the staff is kind.

Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with how the situation was handled. They were less than helpful and refused to review the security footage, even though my purse and belongings had been left at their facility overnight. I understand that I was responsible for accidentally leaving my purse behind, but once it was left in their care, I expected my belongings to be treated with respect and for the company to take a missing $100 seriously. Instead, I felt dismissed and as though my concern was not important. It's not just about the money.. it's about how the situation was handled and the lack of accountability.
