This guy is the worst! I mean I guess you get what you pay for maybe, all he does right is speedy service so he can come steal your money. He fixed the front in back of my phone at the end of July, for 250...drop it a month later for half the screen to not work, I called him... he quoted me 150 so I had him fix it at my gym, told him the gym and he proceeded to go off ...Slightly over messenger, came in my gym like he was ready to fight or something. I didn't see the lovely text messages until after my phone was fixed. He's a veteran so I just shrugged it off. So my back has been broken for MONTHS, has worked perfectly fine. I dropped it yesterday and the front cracked and my phone began shutting off randomly. Call this guy he's here win a couple hours. Tell him everything works, just need the front screen fixed and the phone is shutting off randomly. I walk inside. He then worked on my phone. Says his camera in the van has views of my phone working properly, My sister paid him and got. Y phone he said something about what might and might not work. Tom was great to work with. We scheduled a time to have my son's screen replaced on Saturday. Everything went to plan, we met Tom, took him approximately 15-20 minutes to replace the glass and we were on our way. Unfortunately, the LCD stopped working a few hours later. Tom was great in scheduling some time on Sunday to take a look and see if anything had come loose or if in fact the LCD just had enough of the drops that my son has put the phone through. Indeed, the LCD needed to be replaced; Tom honored the work from the previous day and helped us out on the cost to replace the LCD on Sunday. It truly takes a lot for me to give any business below 3 stars. I found this business via google, read a few amazing reviews, and decided to schedule an appointment. I met Tom at an apartment complex where he took my phone and had it back to me in about 20 minutes. Tom was super friendly, and handed me a business card that said $5 off for every positive review(2 reviews max) posted on Yelp or Google for the next time. It also said 5th visit free. I thought nothing of this, paid him $100 and went on with my day. Less than a week later, I drop my phone(with a case on it) on my kitchen counter(not the floor, just the counter) and sure enough there are two cracks going right through the center. I was so furious at myself because I had just gotten it fixed. Then as I am looking at the cracks, I notice two visible yellow tints where the cracks are realize really soon that when I had cracked my iPhone(many, many cracks), there was nothing of this sort on it. Now, once it was cracked, I could also press down on the screen and hear it pop in and out of place(which also does not happen with Apple products). I took my phone to a friend who also works with iPhone repairs, and he told me he could almost guarantee this was a fake OEM LCD screen. I was really upset and decided to contact Tom. He asked me "well what kind of screen did we put on your phone, the person that told you this just wants your business, then he started to tell me every drop is different and he could talk physics all day(I am a doctorate student, I almost wanted to listen). He did tell me he would give me a discount for a new screen. By the end of the conversation his tone went from polite to rude really fast. Since, my integrity was in question here, I took my phone to Apple and asked to see the screen and anything that may show this was not a real OEM LCD screen. They showed me where the orange/yellow looking glue was right beneath the top layer on the frame, and the screen was very very thin and flimsy. Now, perhaps, the supplier that Tom gets his screens from is selling the after market screens and Tom, truly does not know, but I find it very hard to believe. All of you returning customers(and you get the 5th visit free!!), probably thought you were clumsy and you just keep breaking screens. However, the off market LCD screens are not very durable. Tom, you may have been in business for 3 years, and you may provide fast, friendly, service, but you certainly do not provide quality replacement. Perhaps instead of telling me I should leave whatever review I like, you should have suggested a fair alternative. Pay the extra money and just take it to an Apple store folks. read more

I had read the reviews about this place and other places in the area too. The negative ones just seemed like they were blaming this guy for not being able to fix their already irreparable phones and then blasting him online. Sorry, but I hate when people do that especially to small businesses bc my dad is a small business owner and reviews affect you. Give them a chance to resolve the issue..Anyways, rant over. I felt completely comfortable going to this apartment complex, it is in Kennesaw and is a very pretty complex, nicely kept. He met me outside and I just waited in my car and read a book, he was back in less than 15 min. Avoid this shop - they do not stand behind their work. In fact, this isn't even a shop. Tom, the owner of this business, is a solo guy who makes you come to his apartment to have your repairs done, which is probably illegal in the first place. Tom installed a faulty battery in my phone. While he claims to stand behind his work, he beat around the bush and kept telling me that he didn't have any batteries in stock or they didn't come in on the shipment, etc. In fact I bought him a new battery out of pocket and for some reason the repair still didn't go well. So again, I asked Tom why this was happening. His recommendation was that we install yet another new battery in the phone. I was ok with this approach but again Tom claimed not have any batteries in stock and told me it would be a month before he could get a new battery. What kind of repair shop expects someone to wait a month to carry out a simple new battery install? At the end of the day, I don't think he knows what he is doing.
