We needed help unloading a van. Wesley and Brandon saved the day with skill and a smile. Loading team showed up 2+ hours late but Wesley and Brandon stayed late for us then banged out work we thought would take an hour in less than 30 minutes! Most remarkable was a sleeper sofa they lifted and walked up a tall steep staircase with seemingly no effort. They placed it and adjusted until it was just right. Fantastic movers!! We hired two movers through the uhaul website to help load and unload our items for a one bedroom move. They met us at the place we were moving out of on time and started working right away. They were extremely efficient and stacked our boxes and furniture neatly in our uhaul. We drove the uhaul to our new place ourselves and they met us there to help us unload. $100 per hour for two movers. We finished the one bedroom move in less than 2 hours - so $200 total. When the job was finished, we gave them the payment code emailed to us from uhaul so they could get paid and then they were on their way. The guys were super friendly -- I'd totally recommend them next time you're moving! read more

Gunnar, Harley, and Jack were the best guys we ever had move us. They loaded a 12' rental truck for a move to upstate NY, Saratoga. Communication right from the start was outstanding. Called the day before to let us know who would be coming and their names. They were exactly on time when we pulled in with the truck. We couldn't park in front of the appartment of course , it's philly. They walked the contents of a 2 bedroom apartment from the second floor down half the block. From the moment they got there they were working. It took them 1.5 hours to complete the move. The were polite, respectful, personable, very knowledgeable about packing a 12' truck to the max and didn't damage a thing. When we unpacked 5 hours later , everything in that truck was in it's exact same place it was put in. Can't say enough about them. Made the move as best as a move can be. Damaged my refrigerator, sofas and brand new hardwood floor during a move. Workers were careless in the way they put items in the truck. Instead of carrying a refrigerator or putting it on the dolley we rented, they dragged it and left a 5 inch deep scratch on my floor. Owner tried to cover it up with paint, which made it worse. Instead of filing a claim with their insurance to have this fixed by a reputable repairman, they went radio silent. They were very careful with all of my furniture and my home and even made a point of wiping their feet before going on the carpet. They unloaded a 26' uhaul truck in 2 hours and not a single thing was damaged. Found them through Uhaul's website and glad that I chose them. Wolfgang and John showed up a few minutes before time (NEVER thought movers would show up before time). These guys also followed up with me when I made the appointment, the day before, and the day of to let me know they are on their way. Super polite and professional. Very efficient and skilled in packing the truck so that things didn't move an inch on a 140+ mi trip. Just one thing that I was a little disappointed with, although it's not major. My dresser got minor scratches and that's the only thing that went wrong. I wish they would have used the furniture blankets to move the stuff from the apartment to the truck. They did give me touch up paint and actually applied it to the dresser to make up for it. Despite that, I would hire them again. Thanks guys! read more

Had a great experience with We Move. Dan was very thorough with following up on the appointment and the crew leader Wolfgang was excellent. It was a complex move involving 4 locations and we didn't start until 1pm. We were done and wrapped by 10pm that night and they kept moving the entire time. Nothing was broken and the beds got put together so we could sleep in our new place. I'm not done so I'll be using them again in a couple of months. BTW - I had a similar move last fall and there was no comparison. Those guys were clearly overmatched and it took the better part of 2 days.
