The manager on the phone was very nice and got the moving date arrange quickly and easily. My issue is with the three movers that moved my stuff. I am blind/low vision and had my blue AirPods Max stolen from my laundry basket where I had stuffed it under clothing. Find My could not locate them after the move. Very upsetting! Additionally, they did damage a small piece of furniture that I had rendering it unusable after the move. read more

Moving doesn't get any better than this. We used Broad Street Movers on 8/6/26 in Philly. Could not have had a better experience. John, Q, and Navian were professional, hard-working, kind, and very pleasant. I felt so bad for them. We moved into a row house with three steep sets of stairs and not one of them complained once and can I tell you it was almost 90° outside. Even worse, the freight elevator was broken in the apartment building that we moved from and we had to use one of the regular elevators. Half the size and twice as much work - more loads. These guys were great and I hope you remember to tip your movers like we did. They deserve it. Lastly, Broad Street Movers were so professional right from the first email. This was, by far, the best experience I have had with any mover. After a last minute debacle from another mover, I called and needed the move same-day. Moving this path month, after two very successful and efficient moves with this company before, was horrific. I worked with Joshua and thought I explained I'm moving half of my belongings to one location and half to another, everything labeled, and accurately quoted the size of my apartment. I didn't realize how much I had but had full confidence not to sign a waiver for broken items during service because they were wonderful the previous times, carefully put my belongings in the notated room, and were efficient and careful. This was not the case this time; it took 9.5 hours (twice the expected time), items went to the wrong places even though labeled, the bed was separated from the bed legs they took off, and nothing was in the appropriate rooms; they just dumped in one location in the given spot. The movers were frustrated and told us they never wanted our service again. I have no problem with this, I just want to caution those who trusted this company that they appear not to be the same anymore. read more

This was our first time using Broad Street Movers. My husband was previously a loyal customer of Old City Movers, and we still have nothing against them - it just came down to cost! We moved from a 1200 sq ft home with finished basement full of stuff, and including the 6 mile commute, disassembling all of our beds, dressers, tables etc, the entire move took 4.5 hours. We were very pleased with our entire 3 person crew. As we know in the city, sometimes you have to fight neighbors and blocking 1 way streets - and they encountered that at both locations and handled both situations. We are still unpacking, so no damage to items noted so far. I did notice wood chipped off my door frame and paint chipped off to one of my rooms, which is the reason for the star knocked off. We just finished painting, and completely sweeped the floors the day prior- so we know that the damage is new. Regardless, based on our experience, we wouldn't hesitate to consider Broad Street for a future move. VERY happy with our experience with Broad Street Movers. Michael was great to deal with from the first call/inquiry the whole way through the scheduling and estimating process. He explained things thoroughly. The moving team showed up a little bit later than expected, but it was weather and traffic related and completely understandable. The guys worked quickly and carefully loading everything into the truck (everything being moved was in an outdoor storage unit in the Harrisburg area) and got it all back to Philly in a very timely manner.
