    Wealthy Street Club Whole

My husband and I stopped into Wealthy Street Bakery for a quick lunch and were impressed by the menu options. The staff member was nice. The place had a few tables and most were full but we managed to find a half booth. We shared the Wealthy Club on sourdough, loaded potato soup, a half ham sandwich, half Caesar salad, and a $1 cookie. The bread was the star--fresh and delicious! The potato soup was a bit runny and spicy, and the Caesar salad had great croutons but could've used more Parmesan cheese in my opinion. Overall the food was good, just on the pricey side--our lunch came to $50 without drinks. I did feel that was steep for a quick bite. Parking is mostly paid street parking, with a few nearby spots including a handicap space.

This sweet and cozy bakery has everything you want from a local eatery. The staff is friendly, the menu is great, and the food and drinks are delicious. The baked goods, especially the ham and Swiss croissant, are freshly made and always hit the spot. There are quite a few tables as well which makes it a nice spot for lunch or to work while you eat. Highly recommend this spot in the wealthy st district!

Morning stops at Wealthy Street Bakery always hit different, everything's always fresh.

Monaco Whole on toasted French bread

We walked into the restaurant around 5pm. The restaurant was clean and it was there were a few other customers in the shop. We decided to dine in, but it seems like they get a lot of to go orders. Since this was our first visit, I asked the cashier which bread was his favorite and he recommended the sourdough. I'm glad I asked because I really liked it with my chicken salad sandwich. I ordered a half, but it still was a bigger portion than I expected. Even the chicken salad was a bigger portion than I expected. That was nice, especially considering portion sizes at most places are shrinking these days. The bread was perfectly toasted. It had a nice crunch but was still soft enough the chicken salad was good with big chunks of chicken. I'd order it again. But I think there are a few other menu items I want to try. I also got an iced golden hour, which was good. My son got the full sized Monaco sandwich on French bread. He thought it was pretty good, especially the bread. We'll definitely be back. Since this was our first time, I have no way to compare wait time for how long it took for us to get out our food. But it did feel like a really long time (21 minutes) especially since they were just sandwiches. Many people came in and placed orders to go and got their orders before we got our food. We had time, so I didn't complain but I guess it's something to keep in mind if you're limited on time.

The most slept-on pizza joint in GR! While Wealthy Bakery is known and loved in their community for their incredible baked goods, I surely hope that you try their pizza if you have not yet! A thicker, delicious fresh bread crust is a nice change from so many thinner brick-oven type pies in GR. They have excellent topping choices as well- some that are considered more "gourmet" which I appreciate. I've ordered a 'za and salad in the past for takeout or delivery (see the pics for yourself!)-- and it always leaves me asking why I don't order from them more often.

We've had pastries from Wealthy Street Bakery before, but this was our first time at their location! We really enjoyed the stone-oven pizza, which tasted delicious. Highly recommend!

I love stopping in here once in a while. It is usually just to grab a coffee and a baked good, but all of their items are so yummy. I've never ordered actual food from this location. All of their baked goods are great - you really can't go wrong. The staff is sooooo nice - they even help me pick what to get when I am being incredibly indecisive. The line goes pretty quick as well, but the wait for your order seems like it takes longer than it should. Maybe I am just too antsy for my goodies!!!!

This review is for the happy hour pizza....wow just wow! Wealthy Street Bakery most definitely is in my top 5 favorite pizza places in GR! For 1/2 price you get these specialty pies from 3-6pm (double check website I think it changes). You cannot beat that! As of late, this has become a weekly treat for our family. We tried the supreme, mushroom, and margarita. All fresh tasting and I can't get enough of that crust. See, I'm a crusty girl, and a pizza snob overall. I'm not ashamed to say it. The crust is a very important part of your pizza experience, without it you would be eating mush! Their crust is flaky, crispy, and has the right amount of salt. It's thin but not thin crust. There's a difference. So good! I've had a few other treats at the bakery and all have been good for far. I working my way through the pizza menu first! SYOY!

Food at the Wealthy Street Bakery is consistently good. Service can be a bit slow; you have to build that into your schedule.

It's a cozy little space on Michigan Street with takeout, pick-up and dine-in options. The food is great and the service has always been very friendly. I've sampled multiple menu items and have not had a bad one yet. While the French Dip and Italian Bomber are good, I have been gravitating towards their burgers, which are exceptional. My boys and I have tried over 40 places for burgers in the GR area, and this is one of our very favorites. The Pickle Poppers and Truffle Fries are tasty sides and the 'Pickle Dippin' Sauce' is quite addictive.

And by god, was I impressed. It's a small little sandwich shop off of Michigan Ave that has seating for maaaybe 20 people. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich to go, and when I got home to open my box, my jaw dropped. These guys put not one, but TWO mf chicken breast cutlets on this poor, poor bun. Topped with delicious house made pickles (their namesake), a fresh and tangly slaw, and a spicy oily sauce, this thing was a behemoth. And for, like, $15?? This is two meals for the average person. My only complaint was that the bun simply could not shoulder the monstrous burden of what it contained. Additionally, dude the fries are phenomenal. And they absolutely LOAD you up. Get the truffle upcharge, it's worth it I promise. I have been a Two Beards fan for the better part of the past 15 years, but man, in terms of value, The Toasted Pickle takes the cake. I can't wait to experience whatever else these guys are whipping up behind the counter.

Overall, I probably wouldn't recommend this place but I also want to steer someone away either especially if you are drunk and at the bar across the street. I'm sure it tastes much better. That being said, I think it's a perfect restaurant for its location. There is not a ton of competition directly next-door or across the street. And technically, the Bar across the street has food of a similar quality however it is a nice alternative It's up to you.
