Well the service side could use some help - Raised hands for those who know that BWM does not repair tires? I didn't know and I own my ignorance. However, when I made an appointment to have a tire repaired because it had a screw in it, they set it up. Then, they confirmed said appointment. Then, when I showed up and talked to my advisor, he informs me they dont' repair tires. Ok. Question - at no point during the appointment setup-confirmation-reminder process could noone tell me not to waste my time coming in??????? Fortunately, I'm only 15 minutes away but I had still had to take time out of my schedule to come down there in the middle of the day. What if I were farther away? Or if I had been even more inconvenienced? And the funny thing - later that day I get a text that I missed my appointment. Even the computer has no clue. Greg in the Servicing department is the reason why I'm choosing to stick with beamer and not any other car. my 328i was only at 42k with a fuel pump issue. "How does a new beamer have a major issue?" i continued to say to myself. i had reached a stop light on a busy Monday morning in Downtown SF when it just cut off. You could only imagine all of the horns honking at me and how it felt. I instantly told myself I'm dumping this car and I'm getting a Toyota. As the car was towed in, Greg took care of everything from getting the vehicle in as soon as he could to thoroughly following up throughout the day with any updates. Either incompetent or very competent at being good crooks. I was charged for 2.5 hours of labor and all they did was read codes off of an obd2 scan tool. They interpreted the code to mean I need a new computer. I took the car home instead and found that a fuse was blown. The bill came to $600 to get an incorrect diagnosis. The service they said I needed would amount to almost $9000 (at which point they would find they have to do more work, because the car would still be broken). The actual part I needed costs $100. I am glad I know enough about cars to not fall any deeper into this trap. read more

He said 'You don't need a test drive if you need OL code, let talk! Then next ten mins was: When will you plan to buy or lease it? Do you have a BMW? How's your credit? How much you can pay a down payment? How much you want to pay a monthly?........ He was left a business card on our table and walk away less than ten mins. Never show me that car! This place honestly floored me with how awesome they were in handling the recent lease on my 2017 X1. Seriously, flawless. I pinged them online yesterday, and Natalia got back to me in no time. She referred me to the Joe Combs who took the ball from there and ran with it. Here was the timeline: 9pm I email Joe with like 3 requirements. 9:40am the next day, he and I talk for like 5 minutes about what I want. Before noon, I had the email from Joe answering every single one of my questions. 2pm, I arrive at the dealership. 3pm, the car is detailed and Dina (hope I am spelling correctly) is walking my through some of the new toys in the car. 3:35, I sit down with Chris in finance. 4pm, I walk out the door with a new X1. No drama, no bs upselling, no bait/switch. I got exactly what I wanted at a price lower than I expected, without any problems. Seriously, best around. I live like 15 minutes from another BMW dealership, and I went right past them both to and from Weatherford. I'll do the same thing for every other BMW I buy. Flawless. UPDATE! This should be a zero review but I think 1-star is the minimum in order to write a review. I owned a X5 that I took to this dealership for the past few years of owning the vehicle, for maintenance. Needless to say they've gotten a LOT of money from me. Never again will I own a BMW because of this unprofessional and shoddy dealership, so unfortuanately, the BMW company has a lost a very good customer. Last fall, during a maintenance appointment, they replaced the rearview mirror AND they royall messed up. My husband picked up the car afterwork so it was dark and no one offered to inspect / walk the car with him, so drove it straight home which was less than 12 miles away and there was no traffic. When I was pulling out of the garage the following morning to go to work, I noticed a 4 to 5 inch crack at the mid-point of the neck which is not a coincidence. Upon caling the Weatherford dealership to have them address this, they were very resist and argumentative about it not being their fault. Let me first say it took 2 calls and emails to get them to respond to me. Once I got to speak with them, their claim was that their technicians would not have made the crack but after consulting with a 3rd party window expert, he also confirmed the crack was a result of the install - as the pressure they put onto the glass coupled with how they did it, and the temperature cause the crack. The dealership was not interested in hearing this, and called his opinion bogus though they didn't even want to talk to him directly when I offered to credential him themselves. Nor did they feel they needed to see the car though I offered to drive it in for them to see. They said it must've happened after the car left the dealership but I explained to them the route and the position of the crack was beyond obvious. They also tried to say it might've been there before but then backed off when I said then their technicians should've spotted/marked it beforehand. Total BS. The long short of this is, the manager was also extremely rude and refusing to admit fault. He said 'they were a high volume dealership' so they can't be responsible for everyone's issue. Uh hello? I don't care how high volume you are, as that's now how you conduct your business as each customer should be treated uniquely versus like livestock. I expect more from BMW as that's why I bought it in the first place. And to add more insult, he said they would be willing to cover $500 to help with the deductible but that's pure bologna as they'd just mark up the service cost anyway. I declined the offer and told him I'm confused as to why they would offer as that to me shows they're guilty but just not wanting to take responsibility. I told them I was not looking for them to pay for something they didn't do, so this 'offer' further validated my opinion that they knew they were guilty and also still wanting to gouge me! I asked to speak to the next level up and was told there was no one else as their dealership was owned by a corporation, and he refused to give me a contact. As a result of this very poor experience, I swore off BMWs which is a shame for them. I've had Volvos, Lexus and other brands, and no one has ever treated me this way. I tried to be pleasant and fair but they would not hear it nor do anything to help. So in the end, what would've cost them a few hundred dollars to repair the windshield and keep me as a customer, cost them a customer for life. Good riddance BMW and certainly to Weatherford BMW! read more

Sounds like people have had good experiences with buying or leasing a car here but a lot of the poor service experiences rang true for me as well. I should have read these reviews and gone to a different dealership. Easy to make an appointment but they clearly overbook. I got there and was checked in and told that at 7am, they were already 50 cars behind schedule. My routine fluids check and oil change would not be ready while I waited. Was able to get a loaner car and drove home. Eventually found out it wouldn't be ready that day. Or the next. On the third day, had to reach out to see if it was done and they told me it had been waiting for me. At this point, I was just glad to have my car back. Got a call on my way home from picking the car that I had scratched the hubcaps on the loaner while parking and they were going to charge me $250. (I had driven the car maybe 15 miles over three days.) The argument was that they had to get the car back in new condition to be sold even if they are just using it as a loaner again. Usually damages that might be wear and tear on a rental / loaner seem to be something Weatherford won't hesitate to charge you for. Looks like other reviewers had similar experiences. Would definitely check out other dealerships instead. Never had a problem with Allison BMW in Mountain View for years. read more

He was transparent, helpful and motivated throughout the process, never pressured me into things or try to oversell. When I visited with my family to determine if the car fit our family's requirements, he was courteous and friendly towards everyone. Even after I picked up the car when I had to follow up regarding one of the keys not working and my new plates taking longer than expected to arrive he was helpful and prompt. The dealership was COVID-19 friendly, clean and observed all safety protocols. The cars were kept clean and sanitized after every test drive. I only wish their wait/processing times were a little less than they were, that the car was smogged, and things like key batteries, lighter fuses, etc were checked before being sold. read more

I took it to the Weatherford repair shop and they gave me a loaner and fixed the problem in 1.5 days (the weather strip was not sealed correctly to the windshield). I purchased a new X5 45e. I placed the factory order on Jan 9th, and took delivery on Mar 17th. Purchase: I knew the model and accessories I wanted. The salesman, Timothy Sage, had my trade-in evaluated. He sent me a clear, no-hassle quote that evening. Both the purchase price and trade-in value were fair and competitive. I placed the order and was told to expect 6-8 week delivery. Everything was straight forward and simple. Delivery: Darek Hein handled the delivery. He was excellent to deal with. I received the trade-in value as originally quoted, even though I had added 3,000 additional miles in the 9 weeks since ordering the X5. He gave me a brief orientation and talked me through connecting my I-phone from outside the car. He advised I would receive an e-mail to schedule a full genius briefing on the car's complicated operational systems. BMW Genius Briefing: I had expected a full briefing when I took delivery. That didn't happen. After 2 days I phoned the dealership to schedule a briefing. I was given a website to schedule a Zoom briefing. The only available appointment in the next week was for Mar 25th at a time I was unavailable. I scheduled a Zoom meeting for the 30th, followed by an e-mail expressing my displeasure about the delayed briefing. Andony Husary was able to move up the Zoom briefing to the 28th. Andony gave a thorough, clear Zoom briefing on the car's complicated systems and answered my questions. Overall: I am very happy with the purchase from Weatherford and will recommend them to friends. The no-hassle price was fair and simple. While I was unhappy with the delay in receiving the Zoom genius briefing, It gave me a chance to write a lot down a list of questions, and the briefing was excellent. read more

I luckily found 4 cars that exactly matched my description through USAA website, and they were all at Weatherford BMW in Berkeley. When I inquired about the car through USAA, I was automatically hooked up with Stan Caldwell and worked with him throughout the process. Stan was fantastic, easy-going, patient (I took 3 cars for a drive around 80 in morning rush-hour traffic). He made the process straightforward, painless and quick. So I came here since I saw they had used BMW M5 for sale and wanted to check it out. I informed the salesperson that I was in the process of comparing the M5 and E63 AMG before making a decision. Salesperson was very nice, but when I asked to test drive the vehicle I was told that this dealership has a policy that they cannot let anyone test drive the M models without committing to buy the car and doing the paperwork. I understand brand new M vehicles, but used ones too??? Confused, I asked how can someone know if they even like the car without driving it. Salesperson apologized and said it was the dealers policy due to an incident that occurred in the past. Overall the salesperson was nice, but I think Weatherford's policy on this is a bit stupid. I don't think any sane person would commit to buying a high ticket item without knowing how it performs. Will try another dealership, they have lost my business. read more

I have heard that Weatherford Customer Service is horrible. I thought how bad could it be? Well I just found out. I called to schedule a service recall. They asked me to allow them a few extra days for service. I rearranged my schedule to accommodate, telling them I needed the car back on Christmas Eve. I brought the car to Weatherford. They had the car for 1 day. I called and asked when it would be ready. The service person over the phone said it is scheduled for the next day. I contacted them the next day. They stated they need the car 3 additional days. I needed to drive to a small (3 person) family Holiday gathering for 8 days. I wanted to drive my car to keep my social interactions low. Now I need to rent a car which I'm doing at my expense. The cost was significan due to the number of days. I figured it would all work out so I rented the car. Since my mechanic (Moran Motorsport- they are excellent) is not to far from Weatherford. I scheduled an oil change for the original day I was to pick up my car. Since they missed that day, I asked could they just take care of the oil change. It would save me another trip to another place during a pandemic. If you know Weatherford, you know where this is going. They basically said, "No." But, it was the complete lack of concern and disregard for the position they put me in, which was extraordinary. I don't want to be in a relationship with any Company or anyone who has this little regard for me. To not listen or be empathetic to my situation is unacceptable. If nothing at all, just hear me out. Or, explain why my request is not reasonable. It appears to me that Weatherford is not about customer service. It's about something else! Please find another place to buy or service your car. Was looking for a M2 Competition with a moonroof and Weatherford was the only dealership with one in the entire bay area. I was working with Sue during the entire process. Great communication and smooth transactions. At first, the car was already claimed when I started the process to purchase it. Maybe a week later, I get a text from Sue that the other customer was not able to buy it and that I was able to claim it. With that said, the car returned home with me. I started my search for the car beginning of December, and now it is the 16th. This process only took a little bit over 2 weeks. read more

They sold me a car with a clean Carfax, but it had a total loss. I bought a pre-owned car in 2012 from them, a 04 VW Passat. Three years later, in 2015, I wanted to trade it in for a new car. At this moment, the Carfax reported that the car had been totaled. I had no accident with it, and the accident that caused the "total loss" happened a few month before before I bought the car. This made the car worth zero dollars, and I couldn't trade it in. I contacted Carfax to have the "total loss" verified. They confirmed it and wouldn't change it. Communication with the dealership was a joke, they mostly avoided my calls. I had to call again, again and again for them to do something. They ended up using their contacts at Carfax, to change the "total loss" to "accident". I paid for a car with a clean Carfax and was sold a car with decreased value due to accident. Weatherford BMW didn't compensate me for the loss of value of my car. Stay away from them. read more

We contacted Weatherford to inquire about a specific car we saw on CarGurus. We have been searching a 500 mile radius for almost a year. Luckily, Stan Caldwell, internet Manager answered my call. During the 2 weeks following Stan answered every question almost instantly, sent info and pics and above all, was honest. We live 450 miles from dealership so honesty on his end was everything. We agreed on a date, booked a flight and had a 5 star experience. Stan made the purchase pleasant, car was perfect, as he said it was and transaction was smooth and easy. Stan then turned us over to his assistant, jivanKemper, who continued the 5 star experience. jivanhad full knowledge of car and options and walked us through everything and answered all our questions. Service department is very shady. Took my car (purchased here two years ago) in for scheduled service, they recommended replacing an engine mount and quoted me 8x as much as a nearby shop. They refused to give any more details about the problem or what hours or parts were required to justify the cost. I also mentioned that one of my keys had stopped working and they charged me $235 just to reset it. Tried to appeal to the service manager but they aren't interested in fairness or relationships, just squeezing money out of suckers who leave their car here. Steer clear. read more

I don't even know how to put what just happened in to words. I came in last Thursday to look at a pre owned car that was already on Carfax with no picture. I get there and my sales person was very friendly let me know it was still at the shop getting worked on and that it would be ready this morning. Kinda bummed cause I was ready to purchase the car right then. The rep told me they do that all the, time post listing of the cars before they are actually ready for sale (which I think is against Carfax policy idk for sure, but regardless kinda sketchy). I wasted an hour of my time, but the rep took my info and we communicated through the weekend and worked out all the details of my trade in and squared everything away. She even went above and beyond to even send me the pictures of the car as it was getting finished up last night. Left feeling great, the deal was a sure thing I get in my car today and sit in traffic to get there at at 9:45am which is only 15 minutes after they open. About 10 minutes before for GPS said I would get there my sales person called me and told me the car was sold at 9am before they opened. Long story short some other sharky sales rep sold it out from under one them. This means 1) the management doesn't care about honoring their word on agreements their associates make and 2) that they will do potential customers dirty cause they don't care about our experience just to make the quickest deal and 3) they have some sneaky sales reps that step on each other. This is text book example of "used car salesguy" behavior. Way to set the bar low super low for your brand. That was some sketchy used lot stunt, not an upscale luxury brand dealer move. If all BMW dealers out there are like this I'm never going to one. read more
