My wife purchased her first BMW from East Bay BMW, who was absolutely awful. So bad that we never wanted to go back. Ever. So we started taking her car in to get serviced at Weatherford. The service guys and gals always took such great care of us. We were always in and out quickly. They were extremely thorough and had great follow up. It was concierge level service we hadn't encountered in the auto world. When it was time to get her a new one, we went right to weatherford. The sales team (Paul and Reynold) were great to work with and very patient (we can be really REALLY picky). The finance manager (His name was Chris... or Jason. He looked exactly like Rob Corddry) was also a pleasure. The BMW genius Sean did a greatt job expplaining all the cool gadgets too. 10/10. Will shop here again for sure. read more

I've been eying the X3 M40i for a few months now and after shopping around a bit, I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. John McGinnis provided excellent service and attention to me from beginning to end. He treated me like an actual human being unlike a couple of other dealerships who just ghosted me. John was patient and knowledgeable throughout the entire process and I couldn't have left the dealership happier with my new car. One of the sales managers, Andrew(?), was extremely helpful and was able to get me in and out of finance expeditiously. The dealership also recently reopened after a few months of hiatus due to remodeling. The building looks beautiful with plenty of natural lighting. Great location right by the freeway as well. In addition to the new look, most of the docs you have to sign are electronic! My 2002 BMW 530i brought in for diagnostic but I got the same answers today and two years ago the same answer that I need a new oxygen sensor which they replace two years ago. Diagnostic cost $470. If you're smart you'd go elsewhere. There's no reason for you to pay for their 3rd remodel in 6 years with outrageously inflated repair work. Amazes me too that they'll send an email telling you the car you haven't owned in 4 years is due for maintenance, but they won't give you a heads up that your CPO and Maintenance warranties are about to expire on the car you purchased from them. Never again you lost a customer. Steven Gass (service advisor) is a money hungry son of a ..... Watch out for this guy. Brought my 550i in and told him my issue with a fault code and also said I wanted an oil change. First off, he blew me off like "you don't need one yet"...ok, but I'm telling you I want an oil change...so I request service and you don't provide it. Next the fault code. It takes them 3 days to figure out the problem...I'm ok with that, next he tells me my battery is sitting in 4 inches of water and that the system that drains water is clogged and that's why is running off into the battery tray. Next he tells me there is corrosion in the wire giving a bad connection resulting in the fault code. Ok, how much to fix? $2500.00. He explains that they must run a new power cable and unclog the draining system and drain the battery tray. I tell him it sounds like a isolated problem, and asked can't they just fix what is broken. He tells me the only way to fix it and clear the code is to pay $2500.00. I'm upset! So I told him that I will come pick-up my car because the price to fix my car is outrageous. I picked up my car and payed the $210.00. I get home and check my battery tray and they left my battery in 4 inches of water. I'm done. But wait, there is a moral to this story. The next day I took my car to Bay Bridge Motors and they fixed the wire cleared the code, unclog the draining system, drained the battery tray and washed the car. I paid $260.00. They did all this with a smile. Weatherford Bmw you should teach Steven how to listen to his customers and teach him that it not about ripping us off....well unless your all about that kind of service. Zero stars really. Be aware of the sexist culture in this place, we sent a car for service on Tuesday, the service advisor, Lawrence, intentionally avoided my calls. However, every time I have the other person in my family, which is a male, called, Lawrence would immediately picked up the phone. This habit went on for three days, which totally disrupted my schedule because I have no idea when my car would be ready. And by the way, women can afford to buy a BMW and pay maintenance cost too, so Lawrence, next time you think of doing that, be mindful that a women's credit card works as good as any men's credit card. read more

Weatherford BMW is one of the worst dealerships I have ever dealt with to date and you should be aware of who you are dealing with before you decide to buy from them. Management takes zero responsibility for their mid-level sales people's actions, allowing them to mislead their clients and misrepresent their inventory, to the customer's detriment. Being loyal BMW owners for some time (X3 owners), my wife and I bought a used i3 from Weatherford and had a relatively good experience with the car at first. The only problem was my wife used the electric car for her commute to the Peninsula and, when the Toll Decal rules changed, we realized we would need to trade it in for an i3 that had a Red Sticker or find an alternative brand. Darek, the salesperson we dealt with (but I highly recommend that you do not), took on our request to find a used i3 that would qualify for a Red Sticker and cost us about the same per-month payment as we were already paying. The process took some time and after several weeks, we made no further efforts to pursue it, thinking there was nothing available in inventory and that we would have to look at other options with alternate brands. Darek eventually found a vehicle that was higher in price than our current vehicle, and by then we were shopping elsewhere, so we were not really comfortable going with a higher monthly payment, so we declined. But he was persistent and called us regularly trying to sell us this car, claiming it was Red Sticker qualified and continually working on pricing to get it down incrementally each time. Finally, he had the price pretty close to what we needed and, on a final call to me, said he had personally gotten on the phone with DMV and confirmed the car would qualify for a Red Sticker. He said that there was another interested party and he had sat with this person and made the confirmation with him. So, understanding the car would qualify for the new sticker - and this being voiced as a condition of our purchase to Darek - we decided to move forward and we bought the car. Long story short - we bought the car, submitted our Red Sticker application, and several weeks later, the DMV rejected our application and said the car was previously issued a sticker and thus did not qualify - something we believe Darek could have verified if he actually had spoken to DMV. We of course went immediately to the dealership to confront Darek and Weatherford Management and were handed off to a nice gentleman up the chain who seemed to understand our conundrum and said he would look into it and make things right. During this meeting Darek was called over and challenged about the situation whereupon he actually confirmed in front of all of us he made the DMV call and then stated, "Geez, I'll never do that again." After repeated requests to the management at Weatherford to make this right - take the car back, find us an alternative with a Red Sticker qualification at a similar price, etc. - we were ultimately rebuffed. The only effort Weatherford made was to offer us an expensive lease on a new i3, with no breaks, and no compensation built in for the time we spent on this disaster or refund for the additional money we had been forced to spend (and continue to do so) for non-carpool compliant vehicle. My advice, stay far, far away from this unscrupulous dealer who not only misleads its customers, but actively pursues them to do so. read more

Weatherford contacted me to tell me my car needed service. They said the service was completely covered. When I arrived they said the service would be over $1,300. I drove 1.5 hours in traffic to get to Weatherford. Angelina first said she couldn't do anything to help and said the employee I spoke to on the phone wasn't authorized to tell me the service was covered. She then reviewed the phone conversation that was recorded and verified I had been told the service was covered. She offered to cover $300 of the service after meeting with her supervisor. I asked to speak with her supervisor, Robert Mackie, because I didn't think the offer was sufficient. This was partially because according to their records, my service would have been covered a year ago, during the height of the pandemic, but since I didn't bring the car in during the pandemic, too much time had elapsed and now I would have to pay for it. When I spoke with Robert he didn't apologize, he blamed the employee that made the phone call and said he couldn't do anything else. He said that they were open during the pandemic so it was my fault for waiting. He was rude. I spoke with his manager, Tim Renner, the following day. Tim apologized but only offered to give me %15 off of the remaining service. I declined. read more

I've experienced long waits, rudeness by staff to customers who become rightfully inpatient with long waits or even when BMW has made a mistake by calling you for a service you don't need. If you don't want to read my entire review, let me just start by saying if you are thinking of buying a BMW, head to Weatherford BMW and ask for Bobby. Bobby (along with the rest of the staff I will mention) made this the most premium automotive purchasing process I have ever witnessed, beginning to end. Everyone was remarkably polite. This is a dealer that made me feel like they take great pride in providing only the best service and they didn't fall short. We spotted a car we liked online and walked in to ask for someone to show us the car. We got the absolute pleasure of being put in Bobby's hands. Bobby was nothing short of excellent. He was polite, incredibly friendly, and gave us the perfect balance of allowing us to explore a car on our own and showing us features that makes the car fit us. While we were there, we spotted another car we wanted to check out. At the end of our test drives, we told Bobby we were off to look at some other cars at other dealerships. We gave him our email and asked him to send us info on the cars we were looking at, and he politely accepted that and didn't pressure us on the cars. There was never a moment when we felt pressured to buy a car, unlike every other dealership we'd been to. It's small things like this that made us excited to return and talk numbers with Bobby. With the help of one of the managers, Jenn, we were able to get the car we fell in love with for a fantastic deal and drive it home the same day! Our final step was with Eleni, who as everyone else here was incredibly friendly and polite and full of character. Although she's the one that had us signing a million papers, her upbeat personality made this otherwise mundane step possible to finish with a smile. Brought my car 2018 430i convertible in to Weatherford BMW and assisted by Fortune Barajas, did a diagnostic test (dealt with Sonnen BMW in Marin and Peter Pan Burlingame in the past and each time they do diagnostic and move forward with repairs the diagnostic fee $200 normally is waived, with Weatherford its $220 not waived)so they "found" some issues, originally my question was the engine light was lit. They found many things like rear tires needed to be replaced, fuel tank valve vent, replace oil cap, balance tires, replace steering rack, tie rod, suspension was bent needed to be replaced, the whole nine yards, they kept my car for two weeks. Was texting back and forth with Fortune and finally informed me car is ready to be picked up via text. I texted him back to ask if i need to replace gas used on the loaner car they provided (i would be happy to do that)i did not hear back, so i went ahead to the store to find out hes not there and has a doctor's appointment. I was upset due to the reason that i have a question regarding the bill, he did not inform me he will not be there, he failed to communicate with me upon closing the transaction and was hoping he would offer that if i have questions to let him know. I felt like i was kicked to the curb after everything, i would like to believe that every car salesman, service managers, auto mechanics are crooks, dishonest and damaged goods for that matter. I was willing to pay whatever justified amount and for a professional and courteous service. The bill came to $6757, i took care of $2257 and the rest was submitted to my insurance provider, luckily it was approved. Communication, sensitivity and thoughtful way of dealing with clients are vital specially during these hard trying times, with Fortune i was completely disappointed how he handled this transaction. I have over 30 years of customer service experience and i have always went above and beyond to show my appreciation and care to each of my clients and made sure that their questions were answered. I will NOT use these people and would NOT recommend for service and sales to anyone! In the market for a newer model and was planning in inquiring about it with them but i will take the business somewhere else where professionalism and honesty are practiced and customers are valued. read more

I don't feel honesty in their service center. I took my X1 in today because the service light was on even though I just had my service done less than a year ago. The service advisor scanned my car and discovered that the brake fluid caused the service light on. However, he also recommended two additional service items which would cost additional $600 on top of replacing brake fluid. One of the items was "coolant flush". Strangely enough, the item showed on paper was written as "Customer requests coolant flush". I questioned that. He said the computer automatically added "Customer requests". Later, I searched on line. Some people on line said BMW coolant is "lifetime filled". When I asked the advisor, he said only the models later than 2018 had lifetime coolant and the older models needed to flush every two years. I felt that was NOT very convincing. I asked if he could find out from their system when this was done last time. He said he would not be able to see previous owner's service record. That really sounded strange because when I purchased this car, I saw all previous service records on internet. Everything should have been recorded in the system. Later on. he realized himself that the paper he was holding in his hand showed all previous service records. Coolant flush was not in the record. In any case, I felt the words just casually jumped out of this advisor's mouth without much accountability. At the end, this item only cost me additional $300 and I am still not convinced that was necessary. The cashier lady was rude also. She gave me the payment sheet to sign but did not want me to see the detailed invoice. I felt I entitle to know the details of what I was paying for, so I asked the second time to see the invoice. I called to get a quote for a part that has an MSRP of $125. After providing my vehicle info, Weatherford's price was over $200! Another local dealer sold it to me for $140. Still marked up, but not as bad and I needed it right away. Online price goes for $100 which is the best option for parts if you can wait for shipping- which is free for a part at that cost. Whatever you do, don't buy parts from this place. The price gouge is unbelievable. I can't Imagine getting my vehicle serviced here and being locked into paying the extra high price for parts. read more
