I took receipts for the first two purchases, but unfortunately declined one for the ice cream. I really wish I hadn't. After we left, I realized we had been charged $23 for two double-scoop ice cream cones. The ice cream itself was very good, but the amount we were charged simply did not seem to match the prices posted where the ice cream was being served. Based on what I remember seeing on the menu, it appeared we were significantly overcharged. Without the receipt, I can't say exactly what happened or whether it was simply an innocent mistake, and I wish I had noticed the amount while we were still there so I could have asked about it. But it bothered me enough that I was still thinking about it several hours later. It's unfortunate because otherwise this was a charming little shop with some fun things to browse, and we enjoyed the ice cream.
