This is mostly a pasta shop, but Pasta Ditoni's also has fire key lime cheesecake. Actually, they…read morehave a lot of little desserts and cakes and puddings and things, but this was the one I finally settled on, after gazing at the display case for far too long. This Pasta Ditoni's is located inside the North Market Bridge Park, so it's more like a stand within the food hall. There's another location, the flagship, in Columbus. So the cheesecake is fire, and it's about the size of the palm of your hand. But like a good and rich cheesecake, that's about all you need. They also have things like creme brulee, apple tarts, napoleons, chocolate mousse, bomboloni, and tiramisu. All of the desserts are individually packaged, so you can order one and eat it somewhere in the food hall or elsewhere. Also, gelato in little flutes, and gelato in cones. Plus coffee drinks. Oh, and of course they sell pasta here. It looked like the pasta that they sell was fresh and needed to be cooked first, so this is something that you'd need to buy and take home.

Was looking for dessert…read moreand found a small cooler against the wall by the register at Pasta Ditoni's with lots of parfait-looking desserts with gelato packaged in glasses to-go. I couldn't decide if I wanted fruit or chocolate! Decided on chocolate and got the Stracciatella. I intended to only eat some of it and take the rest with me. I ate the entire thing and it fulfilled my chocolate dessert craving. Their front case also has cheesecake and cakes you can get by the slice.

The Miso dressing on the salad was bright and lip-smacking good. The rest of the salad was well-balanced. We liked the food so much we got cookies too and gobbled them before we left. Rock salt on the top of the chocolate chip was a well received reset to enjoy the melted chocolate. The cinnamon had that molasses flavor that deepens the sweet. The people are super friendly too. Interior has Personal touches everywhere. If we lived here, we'd be back all the time.

The husband-and-wife team behind Grist has created one of the most inventive pasta menus you'll find anywhere. It's casual--you order at the counter--but don't mistake that for ordinary dining. We started with the rosemary Parmesan focaccia and the cow's milk burrata. Both were excellent. The focaccia was simple, fresh, and perfectly executed, while the burrata was an absolute standout. For our entrées, we had the Mafalda al Agnello, Raviolo al'Uovo, Spring Pea Agnolotti, and Tonnarelli di Mare. Every pasta was handmade and beautifully prepared. The Mafalda stole the show, with wide, ruffled ribbons coated in an incredible braised lamb sauce. The Raviolo al'Uovo was unlike anything I've had before--a single oversized raviolo with remarkable flavor and a presentation that was as memorable as it was delicious. Grist is proof that great dining doesn't require white tablecloths. It simply requires talented people making exceptional food. We couldn't recommend it more.
