Now I was quoted a week to get the jacket altered, but conveniently it was hemmed in between the time I purchased it and the time I called them back 6 hours later even though the refund policy clearly states that all purchases with in 15 days will be issued.

After waiting 45 minutes for him to finish with the customer, someone else came in and the salesman (Leonard Simon) told me that I had to wait because the person who came in was a "paying customer" and I wasn't. Since my work does not require business/professional dress, I've been able to get way without buying a new suit for several years. Best man at a wedding meant it was time to go find one that was a little nicer then the decent one I have from Boscov's. (Bloomsburg) Area options are limited since Al's Men Shop has closed, so I decided to investigate Matlow's as this was the place my grandfather went for this suits. First, street parking is free in Mount Carmel, and I had no problem finding spots. Store is not fancy but is well stocked with men's clothing. To be 100% clear, this is a men's clothing store, and that's all they do. Three staff was in the store that day, one of them measured and fitted me for the suit, and to get the pants tailored was about a week wait. They do accept all major credit cards and I found my suit's price reasonable. When picking up the suit, I also purchased a shirt as the store has an excellent selection of colors and sizes. When I first tried it on, I thought the pants were a little loose, but after adding a belt the suit was a perfect fit and very comfortable. Overall, for the price and service my experience was very positive at Matlow's and I'd recommend them.

It looks exactly the same with a wonderful selection of items from local crafters and vendors. The front of the store is primary eclectic jewelry options in prices from very affordable to a bit pricier. Other accessories like scarves, headbands and turbans, and tote bags and purses provide interesting variety. There are specialty tee shirts and tops and a selection of clothing items for women. Many of the tee shirts have a Christian religious theme. In the back room of the store are specialty baby and toddler items up to 2T. All of the items are unique with good quality. Near the register is a nice selection of baby girl and ladies hair bows, head bands and barrettes. I have purchased several hair barrettes and head bands for my granddaughter as well as some baby clothing and handmade shoes of very nice quality, and some handmade jewelry. My friend found several turbans, headbands and some jewelry items as well. Supporting this small business also means supporting local artisans as well.
