I love reviewing parks, especially those that cater to all age groups and pets. Webb Bridge park is one such family park that has something or the other to offer for everyone. Small kids have the play area, kids looking to hone their sports talents have the football field, tennis court and baseball field, adults have trails, elders have paved trails and last but not least, pets have the dog park. The best part is that the entire park is clean, well-maintained and safe to visit. Parking is no problem at all and it is free to visit. Important tip: Some of the trails are steep & have gravel that tends to get slippery/muddy after a rainy morning. Please be careful if you have folks with knee/hip troubles. This park was much larger than we expected and very pleasant to walk through in the spring. Things you should know: I. PARKING You'll notice a majority of the street is one-way. No worries if you miss the first few parking lots, there are quite a few within the park. The entire street loops ~ worse case you circle back to where you started. II. SERVICE Webb Bridge provides various gravel hiking trails. This park is dog friendly, with accessible doggy poop bags and trash cans spread throughout the trails. This particular location is very kid-friendly as well, offering a playground as well as other family-friendly activities like soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, a picnic area and public restrooms. III. QUALITY Well maintained and groomed grounds IV. CAPACITY You'll notice a fair amount of people getting their steps in on the trails in the cool weather; however, it's not heavily polluted with foot traffic. read more

What a nice natural park filled with soccer, baseball and just areas to bike and walk. It is very well maintained. We have some baseball practices here and the field are pretty nice but the dirt is mostly sand. It does make it hard to run and field some. However the location is very very nice a bit out of the way but nice. read more

Super nice park, and much bigger than expected. Walking trails that go mostly through woods, with a few open areas. Easy paths, almost all gravel or paved, and there's a creek near most of them. Not crowded on a pretty autumn weekday afternoon. Ball fields and kid's areas all look well maintained. I do wish there was more signage. There are multiple parking areas and trail access points and it's hard to tell where to go for what. Once on the trails there is no signage at all. You can't really get lost here, but it would be helpful to have a few trail markers with distances for each path. On the plus side, they do have lots of markers telling you what type of trees you're seeing, and benches on some of the trails. Overall, a great tucked away place to take an hour walk through beautiful scenery without leaving suburbia. read more

Excellent Park! Many wide shaded trails with various degrees of incline for walking and jogging. There are also multiple soccer and baseball fields. They have covered and uncovered picnic areas used by many of the teams during and after games and meets. There is a wonderful children's area with its own entrance and multiple areas within the children's area to keep kids occupied. This park is used by many youth and adult programs including tennis lessons, regional meets, practice runs, also a great place to watch a game. read more

Wanted to find a park for myself and my spouse to enjoy on a weekly basis. I looked the map and stumbled upon this park since i seen it was close a lake and in Alpharetta. The park is near the end of a call desac on your left. It's a large park with two soccer fields. I went to a small area with a small looped trail right after I seen a sign driving through the park after I passed the first soccer field reading "pedestrian trail" with an arrow pointing to my left. The scenery is perfect. It's about a 10 minute walk and it's just so calming. There are residential houses nearby. read more

First time here! Got caught in the rain while jogging. I really like how spacious the gravel trails are. Some of them are inclined. Not recommended for regular strollers. But if you have the bike tire one, then that's perfect! Baseball fields and soccer fields with plenty of parking! Shaded areas with a park and restrooms. read more

My kids (14 and 10) love the playground area with a small creek and big sand pit. The piano under the cabana makes it a unique spot to stop! Lots of trails to hike... etc. read more

Webb Bridge Park is a big park with many sections. This review is for the KIDS PLAY ZONE. Amazing! Great variety of playgrounds with a pretty color scheme. Swings, slides, tire, music to play, an older kids challenging area, a designated and COVERED sand area, and a serene stream! Not to mention the covered pavilion, ample benches, and great space. Webb bridge play area is one of my childrens' favorite, oh and mine too! In the mornings, I see older folk come and take advantage of kids being in school and conduct Tai chi in front of the swings. If you have kids of various ages, this is a great park. There are also soccer and baseball fields. There is also a walking/pedestrian trail through the forest. The only thing we haven't found is a smooth place to ride bikes. But, we've still got space to explore. Notice how I digressed from "just" being about the playground. Sigh. Sorry. ENjoy! read more

I used to dislike this park... It just wasn't my favorite. I went today and it was a much better experience! I don't like that you can lose your kids quite quickly, and it's hard to keep an eye on them with all the different play sets, but my kids had a great time! It's definitely the kind of playground where you'd be better off with one parent per child if possible. With my two boys, it was much easier to manage them with my husband there too! They've got a fun sandbox so be sure to bring sand toys if you've got some! read more

PLAY BALL!! or NOT Webb Bridge Park is located off of Webb Bridge Rd on the same street as the Post Office, but on the opposite side. This was a great day to be in the park and lots of people were out enjoying the weather. This park is very large and sort of tucked away among lots of trees and winding paths. It is open from 7am until 10pm, but I could not imagine being here after dark. There is a huge playground area for young kids and fields for soccer and softball for older kids. I did not see the entire park so there are probably areas that I missed. The bathrooms are usable, (not too bad for outdoor facilities). This is a great park for walkers but you need to be careful because it is easy to get confused, (okay I wasn't paying attention), there is no signage and you are walking through lightly wooded areas. I would imagine that after a couple of turns you will be fine. I only gave this park three stars because I like a smoother terrain, (suitable for a bike or Trike) which means no gravel. Also, I wasn't comfortable with the cars coming in and out dropping off young kids. This created a bit of congestion and I prefer to see kids with their parents, (especially in parks). Overall, this is a nice place for families and anyone wanting to get out and get some exercise. read more

Very nice park for a gorgeous day! We want to explore more since today we only made it to the playground but noticed the tennis courts among others areas like the baseball, soccer, and trails. We were very excited to find a park so close and with a nice play area. Since it was a nice day we were surprised there weren't more kids. This park is a hop-skip-jump from my house so it'd be great if we could spend some time here but there are no sidewalks (seriously, you can't walk this park) or bike trails (not ONE place to ride your bike). There is a very nice walking/jogging trail but it tends to be overtaken with people and their dogs. I have no desire to dodge unleashed dogs while I'm trying to exercise or even take a peaceful walk. My teenagers used to walk over to the park and watch ballgames but finally stopped doing that because it seems as if there was always a Johns Creek or Alpharetta police officer with nothing better to do than question my kids for having the audacity to be young and in a park. One of my children has had his vehicle searched twice when he was over there to watch a game. Of course nothing was found but the officer had a grand time making himself look busy. There's a cul-de-sac just past the park entrance, several police cars are sitting there for long stretches of time almost daily. I suppose it is a good place to hang out. This park is not worth the hassle. We prefer to load up the bikes and drive to the park in Cumming, off McFarland, they have walking, biking and playgrounds. read more

This park is pretty awesome. As soon as my hip gets better I'm coming back for a longer walk. Here's what we loved. Kids Play Area: This was awesome! They have three areas, one for smaller kids, one for bigger kids and one with swings and activities for the big big kids (tweens?) There is also a big sand area for the kids which will be even more awesome once my daughter stops eating sand every now and again. Walking Trails: The trails are awesome and well maintained. Parts are paved and others are just rocky pebbles, but they are a joy to walk on. This is something I've noticed in Atlanta/GA which I gotta say, I'm pretty stoked about. Even fairly woodsy hikes have super well maintained trails. Plus, most parks have great, wooded walking paths making a trip to the park fun for kids and parents. Sports Fields: I didn't use them but they looked super well maintained. I'd play soccer here if I didn't trip over the ball just thinking about it. Overall a really nice wooded park with great play structures for kids and wooded walks for the whole family. Feels like you're on a mini hike. read more

This is a top tier park in the Alpharetta area! I have been going to this park for almost fifteen years and have never had anything other than great experiences. The playground is full of fun equipment and it is always well-maintained. There are plenty of walking/ jogging trails that are very pretty. They are also quite wide, so you don't have to worry about running into others. There's a small pond nearby with geese and ducks to watch. A lot of dog owners let their pups swim in it, which is fun! My dog loves this park but I always have to be careful of bad pet owners that don't obey the leash law. There are many signs on the trail that state all dogs must be on a leash, but every time I take my (leashed) dog for a walk here we encounter unleashed dogs. If it's a smaller and older dog then it's not stressful but it's usually the dog owners with younger and big dogs that break this rule. They will see someone with a dog approaching and try to get their leash out but by then their dog is already approaching mine and won't listen to them when they try to call it back. It's very annoying and scary to leashed-dog owners. I do appreciate all the clean up areas along the walking trails. After I clean up after my dog, it's nice to have many opportunities to throw it away. read more

I've been here several times, and every time I have come...my kiddos have a blast here! The kids play area is pretty large and has different sections to play in. There is also a little water creek and a huge sand pit that the kiddos love to play in. I especially love that the sand pit is covered...because even on the hottest day of the year...it's actually bearable underneath the shade of the trees and tarp. I can't speak to the rest of the park, but really enjoy the kids play area. read more

We came to this park much more when it first opened and our daughter was young. We have visited occasionally in the last few years, and it is still a nice place to exercise and relax in a near-forest environment. The playground is starting to show its age, but is still serviceable. They have a long-loop waling path also. read more

Wow this was a surprise find. I had some extra time to kill before going into work and thought I'd check the park. First thing I noticed were pathways for walking/jogging. Then there are soccer and tennis courts to be found. If you don't know where your going you might get easily lost. This park is bigger than you think. Huge beautiful trees are everywhere watching the seasons change while taking a walk will be gorgeous. read more

If you're looking for a really nice park in norh Fulton, this and Roswell Park would be it. Webb Bridge Park has a huge, beautiful trail, especially in autumn. There is also a really nice playground area with a large playground set, small little field, sand area, climbing thingie, swings, and a little grotto. There are some fields as well for organized sports and some picnic pavilions. Only thing is getting there in the afternoons. You'll have to deal with a lot of traffic no matter which way you go. But it will be worth it. read more

This is a nice little park with 2 grass soccer fields, 1 multi-purpose synthetic turf field, 4 baseball fields, 4 tennis courts, walking trail, arboretum, concession stands, 3 picnic pavilions (first come, first serve), nd a pretty cool playground. We took the kids over to the playground area where they were able to play on swings, slides, ropes, poles, nets and all sorts of climb-over/under/through obstacle structures. It was a good way to spend a couple of hours on a beautiful day and keep the kids entertained. Best part was that it was all for free. We even met a nice family there who had kids our age and we exchanged numbers to get together again sometime. read more

Compared to other parks we've been to, this park's playground is not as kid friendly. The play equipment seems a lot more challenging and difficult for my almost 4 year old to climb and play on. The sandbox looks fun, but it's not that clean looking. This playground seems better for older kids. Definitely a lot of shade at the playground. read more

My kids and I love this park. It has a little bit of everything for all ages. I love the river and the piano's and they have enough shady trees and benches to keep you cool during the hot sun. Gorgeous suburban park. Ran a quick "parks near me" search while in Alpharetta for a day and found this a mile or so from where I was enjoying lunch. Husband and I enjoyed the easy 1.5 mi or so trail. Absolutely lovely wooded area. Restrooms. Playground of you have kiddos. Little streams and ponds along the way. Even, gravel path that would be easy for anyone to walk. I'm taking my dogs back for sure! read more

Great variety of play areas in the kids section. Sand play area is next to small creek which the kids LOVE! Kids can have shoes on or off, or even walk in the creek (carefully as to not slip on rocks!) the sand area is covered so there's shade and benches for tired parents like me! Playground equipment is a little old but very cute and unique. I like the fact that there's plenty of tree cover so we weren't standing in the sun. There's also covered picnic tables beside both playground and sand area. Overall it was a very cool alternative to going to a lake beach and a step above a standard park playground. Would have given 5 stars if bathroom was close by and playground equipment was in better shape. We will be returning!! read more

This is the most peaceful and relaxing park. It's always shady and never too crowded. We can easily spend hours here. My kids love the covered sand box and the stream that flows through the park. There are plenty of swings so no one ever had to wait to swing. There are baby swings, a playground for smaller kids and a separate playground for older kids. This is a hidden gem. read more
