The waterfall was a popular place to be, as families swam, picnicked, and soaked their feet in the water. It was beyond crowded, so it might help to get there earlier. However the trail feels safe and accessible. The people there are very friendly with many greeting us along our way. The waterfall we got to was absolutely beautiful. It's kind of amazing that we even have a real waterfall so close to the city of Atlanta. Parking was kind of limited but we were able to make it work. So overall I have no complaints and enjoyed my time here.

I love visiting it with my husband just before sunset. We saw so many kids playing in the spider web climbing thing and the play area. There was a birthday party going on and the park was filled with folks of all ages. Trails: A little walk on the left leads you to the dam(falls) and it's a very quiet and serene path to walk or jog. There are 2-3 trails around the park but a bit rugged, so I recommend going when there's plenty of daylight. Parking spots are plenty and the park is pet-friendly. There are also kayak rentals on the river bank below. When we came we hiked the 3/4 mile looped trail behind the playground accessible from the parking lot. There was a bald eagle flying above his beat. Kayakers down below had beached themselves on a sandbar in the middle of the river. A guitarist was jamming and kids were playing in the Sun. Just a picture perfect place to relax and take in the sites.

The name of the Waller Park Extension game are fields. Several different fields litter the area and I counted at least 4, crammed into this tiny foot print. Parking is surprisingly very spacious and in fact, there's a lower parking lot that's just behind the City of roswell office that you pass to get to another area of the park. Down below is more parking, as well as yet another soccer field. Front and center at the main portion of the park is a nice children's play area, that was being taken full advantage of by kids, and strategically placed near the play area, were benches for parents to sit and watch or just for anyone to sit and soak up the day. Park up keep is very clean and well put together. I didn't see one stray piece of trash, which is pretty cool! There is an aquatic center to the left of the park (if you're facing the children's play area), but i'm not sure if it is affiliated with the park itself. There are no hiking trails here, but my guess is you're not coming here for that, and that's cool. If you have kids, play sports or just live close, this tiny little park is your little secret. If you're looking for a hike, or a monstrous mega park, you wont find that here. Nice, clean, small park with lots of parking that gets the job done. Definitely a fan!

My friend was telling me how awesome it is....and she was right! There are lots of sports fields here and I know Roswell recreation department offers sports classes for kids. There are 2 play structures. One hue one for older kids including a rock wall, huge slides, and other various things. Then a smaller one with the same kind of things on a smaller level. They have several swings including a tire swing and handicapped swing too. There is a pavilion are with lots of shade, and there is good shade coverage from the trees as well. There is also a huge skate park in the back!! Also community tennis courts! This seems like a great park and we will definitely be utilizing it!

We did the red trail loop that was about 2.5 miles long. Although located off a really noisy highway, as you go inside the park it gets surprisingly quiet and nice. It's next to the Roswell Art Center and parking can get difficult to find at times. And, there are no restrooms, only porta potties. Beautiful, rolling green hills and lots of trees. Can't wait to see what it looks like once the leaves have begun to change color for Fall. Lots of families were there to visit and enjoy a walk or picnic, and there are walking/hiking trails to explore as well. The entire park consists of about 107 acres, including a dog park which I will definitely have to visit next time with my Husky.

This park contains wonderful play equipment (swings, obstacle courses, etc...) for the children. On the other side is a very nice large gazebo area that has lots of table benches complete with three built in charcoal grills for groups, families, and individuals to have picnics or BBQs on/at. Also, there is a nice little wooden seating area just a little bit aways from the BBQ/picnic area. You can also walk a little further down from that area and go onto a little wooden secured platform the hangs just right over the Chattahoochee Lake to see the lake and all it's beauty. There is also a wonderful nature trail that you can walk on with or without a pooch companion to see the beautiful wooded area and all of the beautiful trees there. I absolutely love this park. I cannot comment on the bathroom that they have on and right next to their parking lot as I have never been inside of it. The parking lot is not large, but is pretty decent. I do recommend this park as it is worth going to, visiting, and seeing.
