One thing I do have to agree is that this shop do lack on communication. Do not expect to get an update until six when they are about to close just to tell you that they need more time. As a client specially if a client tells you that they do not live locally we depend much in our vehicle. When I initially took my vehicle I spoke with Andy and discussed the repair (took my vehicle on Sat. Dec 13 2014). He said that my vehicle was going to get the repair needed which included my left headlamp. He said he was going to take care of it! The repair began on the following Tuesday Dec 16, after having a green light from the insurance inspector. My vehicle required mechanical and body repair. I never heard from Andy anymore. I was then dealing with Rob, which throughout the process of a 7business day repair, I talk to him twice. Rob told me on a Thursday that they were waiting on a part they needed that was shipped from Arizona. They were going to probably get it by the weekend and have the vehicle ready by then. Saturday no word from them. Monday no word from them. (Im a strongly believer in courtesy calling). Tuesday I get a call about noon saying that my vehicle would be ready by 2:30pm I get there around 5pm. Picked up the vehicle and 10min later, after driving it around the block my vehicle starts heating up. I brought it back and Rob was able to take care of it. I got out of their driveway at 6:30pm. I couldn't return my rental car cause they closed at 6pm. I'm from Orange County. Had to drive back home in rush hour with my wife, son and my rental car. When I got home I noticed that the hood did not close. I left my vehicle parked for the holidays. On Dec. 26, i inspected the repair and noticed that the hood did not close also noticed that the headlamp was not repaired as I had discussed with Andy and the grill that they had installed was not well assembled. Clips were missing as the grill was really loose. I called them on dec. 26 and 27 but NO answer. they did some autobody work though I believe they don't have the sources or connections to perform at a higher level. I do give them credit on the auto mechanic work they did. I will give them possibly better rating after I talk to them. I just can't be driving back and forth to Los Angeles since I live in Anaheim. A trip to their shop will cost me at least 2hrs plus the time they will take to fix a headlamp, put some pins into my grill and figure why my hood does not close. It will take another day of work. Can't do it for now. That was my mistake on not taking my vehicle to a local shop. read more

AMAZING SERVICE. I had to stop by this place to get an urgent service check-up on my car and they were so efficient and friendly. Quick fix for the flat tire! I was able to do it during the lunch time. AAA membership gives you 10% off and this store is AAA approved repair shop. It was professional and friendly. They even checked the air pressure for the spare tire! read more

Must say they were nice But DANG! I guess if you have money this place is for you. The work that needs to be done to my car is half price anywhere else. As a matter of fact after paying them $115 to check my car and me having to pay for towing. The other mechanic 25 miles away from there shop, I'm still going to pay less. $400 less If I would have not gone there, I would have saved $700. read more

I have always had maintenances done by the dealer, but when they said I needed major maintenance and quoted a very high price, I asked the Auto Club for some other recommended repair shops. I called all the ones they recommended that were near to me. Rob at Webb's Auto not only sounded the most knowledgeable, but also had the best price. I took the car to him and was very pleased. All staff seem sincere and professional. Webb's has probably gained a permanent customer since I am not inclined to go back to the dealer. read more

We had an appointment for two cars that same day. By phone, they said that it was okay. But when we arrive to their place, the person in charge of the office looked at me like if I was going to ask for money or something. It seem that "Webb's auto and truck services " works for trucks and heavy duty vehicles most of the time and they forgot their announcement about "auto" service. At least, that is what I want to think and not that I am a latino and that the place is only for one kind of people... Anyways, when we arrive to their place, the first thing that the guy said was that to who I talked to? After explained that AAA send me there, he said "ok, but we will have to do one car at a time because we don't have another space to do the other one". I agreed.... They took two hours to complete an Oil and filter change for the first car. The appointment was at 9:00 am in which we were right in time. The first car was done at 11:00 am. The second car was never done... They didn't even care to put it on hydraulic jack. All the guy in the office said was " the engineer was late for lunch and that's why he couldn't do your car, but it should be ready by 4:00pm" It was 2:00 pm at that right moment! They took 2 hours to do the oil change in the first car, and they where asking for 5 hours to do the same thing to the second car! Why will you ask for an appointment when you can't even manage to have your work done? 5 hours for an oil change and with appointment. I decided to take my other car to another place. Honest, classy, personable, and hard workers. I discovered them by accident because I needed help by my office. The first time they didn't even charge me, they just checked something I don't even recall. I went back today because of an oil problem and they did all they could to help me out, charged me fairly, gave me a ride to work, and kept me informed all day, while finishing up by 5 pm so I wouldnt be stuck in commerce (I live by the beach). I have to start off by saying that I had high hopes for this shop; all the reviews sounded good and they do work for the fire department, but honestly they don't know what they're doing, and it almost cost me money. I took a hub assembly I needed replaced and I told the gentleman, with the sunglasses, torque the spindle nut to 290 with a torque wrench as the reason my bearing messed up is because the dealer used an impact wrench. So what do they do they use an impact wrench, but wait there's more: they actually over torque my hub and what happens? It doesn't move when you mount the tire but they proceed to tell me it's the wrong hub, we can order one for you though--what?!?? so I say: "BS" and i go in and spin the tire, so it can't be the hub I mean if it was the wrong one it wouldn't fit and it wouldn't look identical to the one they took off!!! So I call my brother, who's a power plant mechanic for Northrop Grumman, that consequently wouldn't do it for beers because he's too busy, so he tells me: "dude the spindle nuts over torqued, tell them to use a torque wrench and torque it to exactly what's recommended by the manufacturer." So I look up the torque rating on centric's site, which is 290 and lo and behold it works. So after getting dirty as hell by playing with the tire and hub, and after having to buy a new spindle nut because the one they untorqued has to be replaced; they charged me the full price, no I'm sorry I almost screwed you, nothing!!!! Unless you need easy stuff done, don't bother, they're not real mechanics they're just take it off and put it on mechanics. On top of that the fact that the mechanic wouldn't troubleshoot shows me they're lazy, which means that if they do a big job for you; you're screwed they'll just pile on the parts. And don't take me for some helper who just came here to save a buck I came here and wanted to pay full price so I wouldn't have to deal with the dealer messing stuff up again, or with having to replace the hub, it's a hassle. I came here because of the recommendations, but honestly they're lazy, and it worries me that I the customer had to help them troubleshoot. What if I wasn't educated about what needed to be done? I would have been screwed buying a new hub and paying them for putting it on wrong. I still can't believe he charged me full price and didn't even apologize, what a piece of work. read more

I had Triple A tow my car & Webb's was the suggested mechanic shop. They also were the nearest at the time of breakdown. They took my vehicle in right away in the morning & stated they would do a diagnostic, which at that time they disclosed the fee of $115.00. At around noon, they called with the repairs/ total price & stated they could have it done by the end of the day 6pm closing time. I've never been to a mechanic that had my car serviced and finished same day unless it was for an oil change, brakes or minor maintenance/repairs. They replaced my alternator, belt & did a throttle body clean. The gentleman at the repair shop were polite & courteous. I'd recommend them to family & friends. read more

I was coming home on a Friday from work when my water pump burst on the freeway. Was towed to Webb's and Rob was the mechanic. He went above and beyond what I would have expected. Spent all day in the shop on a Saturday that he was planning on having off and fixed my water pump and also replaced my internal fuel pump and filter. I had an alternator replaced at another shop that was making noise loud enough to hear in the cabin of my truck. He volunteered to reinstall a new alternator that I picked up from a local auto parts store for free!! Very knowledgeable and friendly guy. Made my breakdown on a Friday night a little easier by giving me a ride to a Hotel nearby until he could fix the truck the next day. Couldn't say enough good things about the service. read more

I broke down on the 5 Freeway with a broken timing belt on my 2004 Honda Accord. I had it towed to Webb's Automotive since it was a AAA listed garage. Before that, I had never heard of Webb's Automotive. I quickly learned that a slow water leak I had experienced over the 6 months prior was a blown head gasket. With some good advice about the pros ad cons of repair vs. replacement of the engine, I elected replacement. the car runs well and Webb's did an excellent job. the cost was comparable to other shops but the quality of work and honesty I encountered at Webb's was unsurpassed. Kept my car for a week. Charged me over $700 when I told him that I needed a quote to decide whether I can proceed with the repairs. Never had my authorization to make any repairs on the car. Had my husband sign a backdated receipt, when he paid him on 4/1/2014 to have the car removed from his shop, because he wouldn't allow the car to be removed without payment. Told me that I would have to take the car to a mercedes dealer for repair and order parts from them, and later said that he can repair it in his shop once I buy the parts from mercedes and take it to him. I had to tow my car out of there and take it to a mercedes dealer for repair. read more

Great honest service and a lesson learned. The previous mechanic I took my car to said I had a fuel injection problem and he didn't do fuel injection. Not absolutely convinced it was a fuel injection problem but took the mechanics word for it, I kept driving down Atlantic and saw on the side of Webb's building that they do fuel injection. I drove in and was told to get a diagnostic to identify the problem. I went ahead and got the diagnostic and it turned out to be just a couple of fuses and one of the battery posts. The lesson learned? As Rob said, it's best to identify the problem properly and fix it, as oppose to guessing what it might be and spend on unnecessary repairs that don't fix the problem. Had I taken the "cheap route" and not paid for the diagnostic, and asked for fuel injection repair, I'm sure it would have been much more costly.
