Cory is an amazing marine boat mechanic. After having many, and I mean MANY half assed mechanics do my maintenance I had an engine seize up. I heard about Weber Marine through word of mouth and decided to give them a try. Cory was very knowledgeable about what kind of engine I had and what had caused the problem and how to fix it. He also gave me a very reasonable time at which he could come down and take a look at my boat. When I met him, he was no doubt someone I should have called years ago! My boat was back up and running in a few days and the price was beyond reasonable, now I won't go anywhere else. The guys at Marine Services know their stuff and helped me get back out on the water. ****WARNING!!!!!!! MUST READ!!!!!!!!***** Well, now that I have your attention, lets hope I keep it. I promise, it will be worth it, if you're looking to have a boat worked on by these guys. (Cory & Chris) I could NOT be happier with the work, the communication and the final product of these men. Not only are they honest and reliable, but they know a lot about boats and it shows. I would NOT even think twice about recommending these guys to a friend, a family member or anyone else that owns a boat. I contacted Weber Marine to have a simple manifold and riser swap out and a realignment of my outdrive. He was able to give me an estimate on total labor hours, plus any additional parts that "might" be needed in addition to. As a business owner myself, I respected the amount of hours given at estimate and the fact that he said "we estimate high, and always try to come in lower". Well.....He kept his promise and did complete the job in less time than originally estimated. Not only did he recommend parts that "should" be replaced while I was having the outdrive pulled, but he also told me the parts that didn't need to be replaced and that were in working order. Now, we all know that there are some mechanics out there would say "we had to replace this and that" just to add an extra buck or two, but, Weber Marine is not one of those guys. I promise you that. These guys are good at taking pictures of parts being replaced and sharing them with you, and also giving you a daily update by phone, or email. It really shows how much they enjoy what they do, but also in the pride they take in their work. I enjoy working on my boat, and I feel comfortable working on just about anything on it, but its a great piece of mind knowing that these guys are there when the task is too large or the time is not enough. I will definitely be using these guys again. You can count on it. So, in my final words of this YELP review......Please, trust a customer of theirs, and give these guys a call. You know how hard it is to find a mechanic you can trust. I can assure you that Cory is an honest man with that quality so lacking in many businessmen today - integrity. Not only is he a master of his craft, he is also a master of customer service. He goes above and beyond to take care of his customers. I found him about two years ago and he took care of my boat at Newport Dunes until just recently when I reluctantly sold it. He was always very reasonably priced and delivered on everything he promised. One day my boat would not start after filling with gas on the harbor. He dropped what he was doing and met me at the fueling station and took care of the problem so I could get back to my slip. He only charged me $20. He also helped save me a ton of money on parts I needed for the out-drive. I had them do an engine survey prior to purchase on a 1957 Chris Craft Sea Skiff with a pair of Crusader 454's.... Just had Cory and his team replace a venerable Perkins 4-108 with a Beta Marine 38. They did an excellent job, including fabricating new engine mounts, for a reasonable price. I called Weber Marine (Corey) when I first bought my cabin cruiser. I needed some possible work done on my shift cables (very sticky) and a sensor installed in the hull. Every other mechanic I called said "I am busy for 2 months".. etc. They had no interest. So I cam across Weber Marine and called them. Corey came by my boat the next day to a take a quick look and said. "Nothing is wrong with the cables, you have to get use to them". He did not charge me for the visit. I had him later install the sensor in the hull and has done other work as well on my boat. (new risers and manifolds and some other work) He is now my ONLY go to mechanic.
