I am originally from Orange County where I had a massage lady I was very comfortable with. Since moving to San Diego, I was nervous to walk into just anywhere for a massage. My neighbor referred me here and I was super nervous at first.. you never know what you are going to walk into. I arrived a little early, found parking easily, followed the sign into the building, and was warmly welcomed! Walked into the room, bed was warm and cozy, she spoke to me and told me what she will be doing, how, etc. I was SOOOOO comfortable the whole time. Plus THE BEST MASSAGES ever. So relaxing. I was looking for something local to relieve some excruciating back pain I've been having and was so glad I happened upon them on Yelp! I have a degenerative condition and chronic pain so the usual massage isn't for me. I was hoping to find a place that had more of a speciality with availability, which was a large ask. The reviews and description of Weber were promising and naturally they were relatively booked. I decided to call and left a message describing the situation and was pleasantly surprised to get a call that evening. They were able to get me in the next day and paired me with Julianna. She was so sweet and personable and very much understood my concerns. Rather than a whole body massage she focused just in the area causing me pain and worked it through for the entire hour! I didn't leave feeling worse, which can happen when you attend to a painful area so that was a plus. And bonus- The next day I felt a lot better! I was elated. My back has a long way to go but I'm so happy I found a place that truly understands the mechanics of the human body! read more

Wow! Mattie is the best. I went to her for the first time recently for a pregnancy massage. It was gentle and restorative. I felt amazing after and will absolutely be returning. A few things that made her services better than the rest; her massage bed was crazy comfortable, her prices are very reasonable, and she is located in the heart of downtown on Maine Ave. She also made me feel comfortable and encouraged me to vocalize my trouble areas so she knew how to best help me. I would personally recommend Mattie to anyone who would be willing to sit through my spiel; her room is cosy and inviting and the ambience has you feeling like you're in one of the quietest parts of the world. Her massage technique left me feeling like the most mellow bowl of jello, and it's hard for me to feel relaxed!
