I had an appointment with Aby at the end of March to get one of her facials she was advertising on instagram and decided why not pamper myself when I go to San Diego to visit and I also told my best friend to come with me as well. I have known Aby and her brother Chris(who owns Advanced Brow Design) since high school which is 10+ years now and had to pleasure to see both when I arrived and it was like a mini high school reunion. Aby knew right away that I had dry skin by looking at my face and was able to determine what was a good treatment and facial for my dry skin and sun spots. She first had me change and lay down and put a steamer on my face, where she continued to examine my skin and remove any Whitehead and black heads , she the. put a pumpkin mask on my face which she did advise would burn a little and if it was too much she can take it off. She then asked me if I claustrophobic and I told her No and then stated she wanted to do a green tea mask which would help moisturize my skin and lips. I was down with it. She started putting the mask on which was very cool on my skin and it was soft when she put it on and began to harden while I laid there. While I waited for time to elapsed she then pulled the mask off my face very carefully it now became like a puddy it was weird and cool. After my facial she told me to wear sunscreen everyday and gave me a sample so my sun spots wouldn't get bigger. Aby's underarm brightening treatment is AMAAAAAAAZING! I switched over to natural deoderant and I noticed that my underarms started to darken, apparently this is a common side effect. After ONE treatment, I saw immediate results. She recommended I use the follow up serum at home as well but I didn't feel it was necessary. Big mistake.. I noticed that they began to darken again and had to go back for another brightening session. I then bought the serum and sure enough, they didn't darken again. Moral of the story, LISTEN to your esthetician.
