It was just after Halloween, so there were one section of marked down fall and Halloween decorations. Then it was aisles upon aisles of Christmas ornaments, lights, trees, stocking and any decoration you could imagine. I loved how organized everything was, each section by product ..even down to the color. Walking around the store was interesting, from the different art sections, frames to the many wooden signs. (seemed they had a sign for everyone) I needed some help finding the red buckets online, a nice salesman walked be right over to them. Really to have the extra service. Seemed like everything was a marked at a good price. I will have to come back to check out all the different seasonal items.

The counter is open with bar stools surrounding the space. This set up allowed me to pull up a chair and discuss my framing needs with the employee. She was knowledgeable and broke down all the costs for us. The breakdown and detail of the work going into our framing is what sold me on having it completed here vs just doing it ourselves. I did not get her name but she was a wonderful representative with in depth knowledge on the services available. We got a great deal on the frames as the store was doing a buy one get two free sale which worked perfectly as we had 3 prints. Very happy with the cost and feel it is a great value for what we paid.

Needed more products that they had right at checkout but absolutely refused to give them another dime of my money. Received a shadow box I ordered online for my husbands Christmas gift completely shattered. Okay, no one's fault. Lug my infant and this huge box to the store to try to exchange it so it didn't happen again in shipping and wouldn't be here in time. Nothing is available in the store so I want a refund for their damaged product. Noreen right from the start gives a ton of attitude about the receipt when I kindly explain I barely even opened the box because I could see and hear it was shattered. Told her whatever it came with is in there and also called up the two email receipts so she didn't have to cut her hand digging around. Very rudely again was told that wasn't the receipt and she needed the upc code. So we just looked at each other until I realized she genuinely wasn't going to return this. I asked for the manager. Long story short they tried to say you apparently can't return things ordered from Michael's online in the store but "if you process the return online, print the label, close up the box, and bring it to that store we will ship it back." Like what!?! Then process it now and do that. Only gave me the 29 bucks for the frame not the shipping cost and had to fight to not have it on a gift card and to get a refund on my cc. So now I have no gift, no product, drove 44 mins total with my infant to be treated poorly and still out 13 bucks. Won't be purchasing from here ever again... Hobby Lobby is right next door. Probably should be kinder.

They answered my questions along the way and were very polite when I was not sure of the process of some of the steps they were taking. The sales rep Chris that we met with was very nice. My house has needed the bathroom redone for…read moreover 10 years, since it was haphazardly repaired back then. I have lived with this bathroom for a long time and was extremely excited to have it redone. We had it in contract that they would demo the shower and tub area, put in a new window, take out a steam trap/put in an exhaust fan, new floor, put in a new sink (purchased by us) , a medicine cabinet (purchased by us) a toilet paper holder/towel bar would be installed (purchased by us) and put in our old toilet that was in good shape. We also had in contract that the area outside the wet area would be finished to paint ready, and they would install new light sockets and a light fixture/mirror. They said all cracks and holes in the dry wall would be filled, fixed, and sanded. From time of talking to the sales rep to construction starting was several months which we knew about. We were originally told it would take 3 days. Then it was told by the construction manager that it would be 3-4 days. Which was fine. Originally the sales rep said the crew would rip everything out, sand the wall down and that way we could paint before they put everything back in. That was not told to us by the workers their first day, but I thought hey they are the professionals so I trusted them. 4 days later, they said they were done. I went in to the bathroom after they left. Only to find the door/doorway was installed crooked, the walls/ceiling still had cracks in it. They caulked around certain things and missed spots. The plug he had installed back in was my original old plug that wasn't working properly before and now it wasn't working at all. The toilet paper holder had what we thought was a hole above the fixture. So I called the construction manager at the office. I told him my concerns and he stated he would send the crew back to fix it. They come back to fix it and did a less than stellar job. This time there was still spots in the dry wall to fix, my gf pointed out another nail under the tp holder that hadn't been filled in AND the tp holder fell off the wall when I barely touched it. The door way was crooked, at this point I would've thought the manager in charge of construction would've wanted to show up and look at it at least. I called and complained again. The manager told me he would send a different crew. And proceeds to ask me if I'd be willing to release the other half of my payment to them in which I said no. So another week goes by not being completely done. The new crew shows up I go over everything with them. They start working and then when they go on lunch I go upstairs to look at what they had been working on. My door way looked worse than it did the first time. Which I didn't think was possible. AND the door knob they installed locked from the inside when it was closed. So the door was stuck locked with nobody in the bathroom. So they proceed to come up with a solution to the door way and knob issue. At the end of the day they fixed the door being crooked but now they used some construction caulk and merged my door frame for the bathroom with the one for my spare room. I thought at least it looked better than the first two options. They replaced the knob to one with a different locking mechanism. Everything else then looked okay in the bathroom that day. So I released the other half of the $22,000+ total to them. A week goes by, and now we have noticed they took off a small piece of trim/baseboard outside of my bathroom doorway andnever put it back. Then tonight we noticed part of the floor doesn't match up with the baseboards inside the bathroom. So water is getting underneath it. I am deeply disappointed in this company and their "quality" service. There is a significant lack in communication between their departments. I would never recommend them, as this has become another disappointment in having work done in my house.
