I purchased business insurance through Dan Webster as my office was on the coast and not covered by other insurance companies. It was a reasonable price of about $130. I moved locations more inland and needed to have proof of insurance before signing my lease. Nothing was spoken about a change in policy or price increase. The following month I was charged $859. I called immediately and Dan said I would receive my money back, I never did. I followed up a week or so later as I didn't receive a refund. I received a small credit of $250 back. I was taken advantage of here, by simple business negligence. Insurance companies are to inform of price changes on insurance with a 30 day notice. I received no communication and they got a nice bonus off me! read more

I am sorry to say that I am very disappointed. I was with Farmers /Webster for many years. After an unexplained of Webster's losing Farmers backing, I stayed with Farmers and another agent. Ken Webster called me several times and said "he wants to get my business back" and "beat" the competitors prices. He was persistent, however once I agreed to go with his "better" rate, I realized he put my policy with SafeCo. If you read the reviews on that insurance..horrible. When calling back to talk with him, He plainly said ..stay with Farmers. Not trying to work it out with another Company....?? After all of the back and forth?? Well good thing I didn't let go of my Farmers insurance. Moral of the story- you get what you pay for. I'm sticking with Farmers read more

I met with Dan and we worked through all of my polices- house and multiple cars. I have all the basic policies along with renters insurance for my college bound child. Something is always up for renewal and they are there to help. It's not like a big corporate company that you have to take notes to know who you spoke with. This is a wonderful small family oriented business who knows their business very well. Horrible people to do business with. Ken and Scott Webster were our brokers for 2 years, but we were not aware that Scott (who was practicing as a broker) did not have a broker license. Our carrier sent Ken Webster a refund check for several thousand dollars payable to both of our names on the check. Well, Ken Webster cashed our check and never sent the funds back to us. After several months of calls and messages that he never returned, we decided to go elsewhere. We are still trying to get our money from this people. Stay away from this company as they are not honest. Many carriers have dropped them for dishonest and unethical business practices. read more

I have been with Ken Webster for over 5 years with insurance policies that covers my business liabilities, rental properties, transport business, home, and personal autos.
